No... could it really have happened again?
The signs were there, it was obvious enough why she was experiencing the emotions and physical strain, not to mention the expansion of her stomach. She was pregnant again. It must have occurred soon after hers and Grim's arrival into this World. She... she was going to be a mother again. Would she be ready for such a big step?
The fluttercorn ghost continued her slow walk, her chains rattling as she passed through the trees. What was she going to tell Grim?

Lying silently in their cavern home, Grim smiled to himself, an odd and rare moment for the solemn stallion. He shifted one of his dark legs, making himself more comfortable. Glowing eyes blinked, as thoughts passed through his mind.
He knew she was expecting. He'd known for a while now, with her mood swings and weight gain. But he hadn't been about to present the obvious to her, and would allow Nostalgia to figure it out for herself. He wasn't quite sure how she'd handle the news, especially after her previous pregnancy. He had a feeling it wouldn't be long before she presented him with the news. And he needed to figure out what exactly he was going to say to her.
His ears twitched as he heard a rustle in the distance. She was approaching... was it time for the announcement?

It seemed like no time at all had passed before she arrived in front of the cave's entrance. Inside, she could make out the shadowy form of her mate, her love.. the stallion she couldn't live without.
What in the world was she going to say to him? He was still adjusting to this new lifestyle... how was he going to handle the fact he was going to be a father on top of it all?
"Grim?" She asked quietly, her chains now dragging across the rocky ground beneath, "Could I speak to you, darling?"

"Of course, Nostalgia," he said, his voice just as quiet as his gentler half. "You will always have my attention, my love."
He rose from ground, and approached the ghostly mare. He gently nuzzled her cheek with his own dark muzzle, his horn pressing against her own. He sensed her hesitation, her worry, and wished he could do anything within his power to ease her pain. "Darling, what ever is the matter? You know you can talk to me about anything."
