Hi and welcome to the contest page! This is the non guild, non charity and non event contest. WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?! Well you do NOT have to be a member of the Guild or Charity to enter. Event means in the Guild when a certain holiday comes up I hold an additional contest.

and

If anyone can tell me the what these two things have in common and what is the difference between them and an extreme background on it within 24 hours of this post then I will open my charity back up with no regrets and I'll be around more often.

Rubyfire  full name: ryuichi sakuma job: vocalist of nittle grasper age: 31 birthday: april 1st height: (manga) 165 cm [5'4"]; (series) 170 cm [5'6"] weight: 53 kg [117 lbs] eye color: (ova), green; (series), blue hair color: brown w/ green hightlights blood type: B likes: kumagorou, ice cream, girls who can talk to penguins, guys who can't write in kanji and regret not speaking their mind, shuichi, bunnies kumagorou is ryuichi's little stuffed rabbit, his constant companion and snuggly pal. he is seen playing with it almost every time he shows up, only putting it down to sing and perform in concerts. nobody really knows where kumagorou came from, why ryuichi is so attached to it, or why he continues to carry a stuffed animal around with him even in his thirties. is ryuichi just the kind of sweet, adorable guy who'd see no problem with his bunny always being with him? probably. shuichi, one of the biggest nittle grasper fans of all time, watched their concerts and heard their music growing up - and decided to become a singer because of the god like sakuma ryuichi. he was obsessive - cutting his hair in the same fashion, and using the same shampoo. his singing and performance styles are all copied from what he's seen on his TV as he watched nittle grasper's music videos over and over hundreds of times. shuichi is the main character of the show as we all know, and due to ryuichi and nittle grasper... we have gravitation! what would it be otherwise? shuichi going to college to become a lawyer and suing eiri for second hand smoke? i guess we'll never know. thanks, ryuichi! biggrin tatsuha is ryuichi's biggest fanboy ever - maybe he didn't choose his career based on whatever sakuma-san did like shuichi, but most of his life seems to revolve around the singer in every way possible. if it involves waiting in line for hours, spending his life's savings, giving his soul, sacrificing his life, he'd probably do it in a second if ryuichi was involved. maybe all he really wants is some of that fine a**, and maybe he'll need to try a bit harder in the anime ... but at least in the doujinshi he can have as much NC-17 ryuichi uke action as his horny little 16 year old hormones can stand. Ryuichi Sakuma is best described as an eccentric genius. He is the singer of Nittle Grasper, although off stage nobody would understand how he could be that same sexy, suave sex idol singing in concerts and on CDs. Some think it is Multiple Personality Disorder; some think it is the sad result of a tragic past and lost childhood. However, Ryuichi?s ?symptoms? are mostly not those of a person with MPD [think Smeagol/Gollum from Lord of the Rings if you want an example of an MPD case], nor can we or will we ever know exactly what happened in his past. Still, the issue will be debated to the end of time...what IS "wrong" with Ryuichi? It seems the easiest explanation for how Ryuichi is a happy, childlike, slightly dull person who talks to a rabbit off stage and a confident, smirking, even different-looking man on stage, is just what it was labeled as before? he is very eccentric. Ryuichi takes his work and singing very seriously, so seriously he seems to change when involved in it. When he is not singing or dealing with music, Ryuichi simply appears to be the happiest, silliest, most childlike person in Gravitation. It is annoying to some, yet adorable to others. Not only is the exact explanation for his ?change? unknown, but so are most aspects of Ryuichi. Where, exactly, did his friend Kumagorou come from? Why is the rabbit so important and real to him? Why did Ryuichi leave with K to go to America three years ago, breaking up Nittle Grasper entirely? Could it have been that bad, when three years later he returned to Japan with no signs of hostility between the members showing [maybe ruling out the possibility of a fight causing him to leave?] and asked for the band to re-group simply because seeing Bad Luck mad him nostalgic for the old days? Does he act dumb on purpose, deliberately misspelling simple words and misunderstanding basic Japanese, or does he actually not comprehend these things? Despite the many mysteries of Nittle Grasper?s strange singer, the plain and simple bottom line is that Ryuichi appears as a sweet, caring person who loves his job and the people he works with. He?d drop anything to sing, and he goes out of his way to reassure his band mates that they are important to him. He also seems to care very much about Shuichi, almost acting paternally, stepping in to help when Shuichi can?t bring himself to sing and disapproving (harshly, though) when Shuichi?s music just isn?t as good as he feels it should be. He may or may not be jealous of Shuichi... however, by the end of both the show and the manga, he will openly say and show that he loves Shuichi (interpret that as you wish) and wants him to be the best. It is almost as if he is training the next singing legend as a replacement for when his days in the spotlight are finally over.

Rubyfire full name: noriko ukai job: keyboardist (and vocalist) of nittle grasper age: 28 birthday: august 5th height: 160 cm [5'3"] weight: 48 kg [106 lbs] eye color: brown hair color: (ova) brown; (anime) purple blood type: O likes: mexican food, mail order shopping, older men, ryuichi noriko's husband and a man of many talents, tetsuya ukai (born january 26th, 170 cm tall) is a professor at ishigawa university, a renowned picky eater/food critic, and a father to his daughter, saki. He looks too old to have a beautiful, young wife such as noriko, however it is implied in the manga that he is younger than it seems. despite his grandfatherly charms, he loves noriko as she loves him - which is much more important than looks. A big fan of Eiri Yuki and a very curious child, young Saki Ukai is an adorable six year old who takes after her mother and enjoys the cute guys mommy works around. She's introduced when she clings to a bleached-hair Tatsuha who is posing as Eiri, screaming that the famous novelist is in the room and causing a general fangirl panic amongst women in the vicinity. Children do the darndest things! 'Hot and sexy', Noriko Ukai is not only a keyboardist for the legendary Nittle Grasper, but she is also a best friend to Ryuichi and Tohma, a mother to her small daughter Saki, and a general pain in the a** to most other people. Her role in the series was cut dramatically short, and the audience doesn't see her until episode eight when Nittle Grasper is reformed on a whim because Ryuichi wanted to sing again. She jokes that he is selfish, one of the worst things she says in the series all together. However, she is one of the main characters in the manga, entering before Ryuichi and working as a support member for Bad Luck, doing their keyboard work until Nittle Grasper reforms and Suguru Fujisaki is sent in, something skipped entirely in the series. While working in Bad Luck, her harsh criticism and mocking of Shuichi seem overly nasty, however, her tough coaching in the start perhaps helped Bad Luck become what it did. She is also exceedingly cruel in talking about Ryuichi, with such comments as "He's only like Ryuichi since he is so stupid!", and "This kid is almost as dumb as Ryuichi." When actually around Ryuichi, she hits him, beats him up, yells at him, insults and teases him. Ryuichi lives up to her mocking words, smiling in a dopey way or just walking off and ignoring it as he does in the OVA, causing Noriko to throw a fit. Perhaps he knows she doesn't really mean the things she says. Despite how much they may act like goofy enemies, they are actually very close friends, and Noriko seems to love Ryuichi very much deep down, as does he. They work wonders together as a team, and together with Tohma are some of the most successful, talented people in Japan. Noriko Ukai, sadly, is one of the most overlooked characters in Gravitation. She goes from showing up frequently in the manga, to barely being seen at all when everything is said and done. Her family is not even included in the series or OVA, nor is her apparent friendship with Mika Seguchi mentioned, either. Still, fans of Nittle Grasper and Noriko will always appreciate this hot and sexy keyboardist who truely makes the legendary band what it is.

Rubyfire anyway, thats nittle grasper info (obviously a band XD) i didnt know what a seiyuu is so i didnt post it cause the page is already stretched out XD (cmon...i bet you knew it would be your sanji-kun xd ) in maki murakami's original "gravitation" stories, the HELP! doujinshi the main characters were ryuichi sakuma, the singer, and tatsuha uesugi, the novelist. ryuichi was in a band with tohma (and before that, noriko) and hiro. their band was called nettle grasper. a nettle is a sharp, spiky plant, that only somebody very foolish would grasp - thus, the name nettle grasper makes perfect sense. a lot of things changed. hiro was kicked to bad luck and replaced with the beautiful keyboardist noriko ukai. tatsuha's role got taken over by his brother, and he was shunted to the side as a teenage monk who lusted after ryuichi, who is now a superstar, yet not the main character. does any of this make sense or seem to have a real purpose? no, not really. neither does the fact that the band got an "i" in place of the "e", thus, nittle grasper. sure, it makes no sense. it also makes no sense that tatsuha used to be eiri. and vice versa. there is really no other 'explanation' as to how the name nittle grasper came about. it seems to have been a completely random change, like many main aspects of gravitation... Gravitation is a 13 episode anime featuring Shuichi Shindou as the main character. Shuichi is part of a rock band called "Bad Luck" along with two other teen boys. He's quite talented and writes the lyrics for the songs that Bad Luck plays. On his way home one day, he meets Eiri Yuki, a popular and handsome writer. Shuichi's newest lyrics were read by Yuki, who insults them and tells Shuichi that he has "zero talent." Shuichi pursues him and inadvertently falls in love with Yuki. He loves Yuki with all his heart, despite his being a male, and loves him as much as he does singing. He would go to great measures for Yuki, and he eventually surpasses all of Yuki's former lovers with his strong love for the handsome writer. Yuki however has a stubborn personality and rejects Shuichi in the beginning. Later on he falls for him and his cuteness as Shuichi decides to move in with him. Meanwhile, Bad Luck has been rising to the top of the music world with their hit new song "The Rage Beat." Controversies begin to occur just as their songs hit the top charts. The media is curious of whether the relationship between the popular writer and the equally popular singer is real. Rival bands begin to get jealous of Bad Luck's popularity. A member of their rival band, ASK, is out to make sure Shuichi and Bad Luck doesn't surpass them by threatening Shuichi of Yuki's reputation. Shuichi must learn to overcome these obstacles, keep Bad Luck together, and retain his relationship with Yuki. But what Shuichi doesn't know is that Yuki hides a terrible secret, and once Shuichi finds out, will he still love Yuki?

Mokoni ~sighs~ Nittle Grasper was a band from when Shuichi was a little kid. They were three guys. They're still friends today, but they all do their own thing now. Bad Luck, on the other hand, was originally started by just two boys. They were forced to allow the third boy to join the band, because Bad Luck had just been the two of them for five years.

At the middle of the series Seguchi made him the producer of "Bad Luck". And from that time on they are rivals.

He was told by Tohma to help out Nittle Grasper and became the Keyboard player. Shuichi wasn't too fond of the thought at first, but eventually came to accept Fujisaki. Fujisaki, unlike the others, seems to show hardly any emotion except for when he is fustrated with Shuichi.
