Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the New Year's Ball. I will be your hostess for the evening as well as providing the musical entertainment. I hope you all enjoy this little shindig that I threw together for you. With that said, Enjoy the Party!
Rules: See the Front page of the FoJ thread. Absolutely no bumping! That's what conversation is for.
Attire: Come as you are. It doesn't matter what you look like, just as long as you have fun.
More in the next post.

As you enter the guild you can see that streamers and festoons of color abound. Walking along the hallway pearl and silver carpeting beckons you further along. Through the double oak doors you find a room filled with all the things you need for such a joyful occasion. Party poppers, noisemakers, hats, food, drinks, and even balloons.
On the far right is a buffet table ladened with all sorts of succulent fare. All sorts of meat dishes, vegetable dishes, and especially dessert greet the visitor. Beside that table lies another one full of cooling drinks of various brands. A large dance floor with different colored lights rotating at multiple slow speeds entice you to take your turn on it. The far back of this large room boasts several speakers, a DJ booth, and a stage.
On the left are the restrooms and anything else that might be needed for the occasion. Along the way you might see an infirmary. (One must allways be prepared.) Also there you may find vending machines installed for just this occasion. All sorts of goodies are inside. Breath mints and breath freshners (should you need them), headache medicine of all kinds, plus a variety of novelty items (including 'diamond' tiaras' are available.
"I bid you welcome one and all to the final party for the FoJ in 2007. Mingle, dance, have a good time, and remember it's not about what you are doing or where, but the company you keep while doing it. Please enjoy the festivities! Oh, one last thing. Don't do anything I wouldn't do."
