Ok folks, I think we all know what this is. With the near year only one more day away, it's high time to think about what there is to look forward to and perhaps more importantly what we'd like to change for the better in our lives. I, for one, want to:
1. Find a better job 2. Finish writing both my barbarian epic and my Star Wars story 3. Start saving for a new car (I love mine to death, but she's coming up on her 11th year of existance :/) 4. Pay off my credit card 5. Eat healthier (or eat less junk in any event. I won't cut out the good stuff completely. I simply won't) 6. Go to at least 1 concert (alot of bands and rappers that I like came to town this year and I missed every last show... crying )
and finally....
7. Find out who the Phantom Gifter is... stare
So what about all of you?

i highly doubt you'll find out all of the phantom gifters. some might be unmistakeable, but others blend into the woodwork. as for me, i resolve to not make any resolutions this year. dammit! i already broke it. i guess i actually have to make some then.
1. lose 30 pounds by summer. i want to be able to ride all the coasters at cedar point this year. my knee brace prevented that last year.
2. try to quit smoking. i'm not making this one definate because i'm not sure if i can do it, but i'm willing to try.
3. save up some money. on top of working to pay off multiple debts, my goal is to have at least $1000 in my savings by this time next year.
that's all i can think of for now.

Ick to NY rezos, but they're always fun to keep as long as you're motivated...
1. Stop cursing-I pick it up from my students and friends, so I gotta try to be a better role model for all, you know?
2. Stop worrying about the opposite sex-I spend too much time thinking about stupid things like being single and what girls think of me and all that jazz. Who knows, the less I think about it, the better off I may be.
3. Make friends where I live-Since I moved, I haven't made any friends where I live now ((Not counting you guys, of course)). All my friends are back home in Las Vegas, and because of work. I don't get out much. I guess I should get out there and meed new people, y'know?
3 and out. Let's see how long I can stick to them...

good luck guys. and hank, it's true that the less you try to find someone, the easier it is to actually succeed. for some reason, women can sense those sorts of things.

Hank you moved? Aw, I hope things go well with the new Locale. I know another member (I think it was Lunarkit, but I could be wrong) started a thread when she moved. Maybe some guildies are in your new area.
Mine So far (this may get revised):
1. Find a New School and Grad Program (I dropped out of the counseling program, SLU was too expensive, it was too much like social work, and there was no use of psychology!)
2. Add more to the story I'm writing about my Screen name's sake.
3. Design THE PLAN to get my own residence again. I am 24, I am too old to be back home. I miss having an apartment.
4. Spend time with friends- in 2007 I was so wrapped up in school I ignored all but 3 people-not good.
5. Do the impossible- Out Cool my little brother.
6. Go to church more and try to be a better person.

@ superbuick- maybe not consciously, but I think men can too sometimes. rofl
My resolutions:
1. Get back at using sparkpeople and go to the gym at least one day a week (which would be in addition to my P.E. class at college), because last time I exercised 4 days a week and used s.p. I actually lost 20 pounds...now I'm well on my way to gaining all that back. sweatdrop 2. Go on one casual date 3. Find a job for post graduation (AHH!) 4. Eat more whole grains and drink more water 5. Graduate college! xd

Well, I have a few (and they may get altered or some may be added).
1. Look for a better job (I am sick of being a cashier and being paid lowly, etc.) 2. Enjoy each day, hour, minute, second, etc. as it comes and try not to worry so much about the future. Life is too short to worry about anything. 3. Lose at least a pound a week so that by this time next year I will be 52 pounds lighter. 3nodding that would be so nice. blaugh 4. Keep practicing my drawing; Daddy was going to help me and I still believe he will, but not without me picking up the pencil first. 5. Try to keep my room less messy. xd

You will all probably think I am a little cliche for saying this, but I only have one New Year's resolution for 2008, and that is to be happy. So, no matter what it takes to bring even a little bit of happiness back into my life again, I have made a promise to myself to pursue that by whatever means are necessary. If that eventually translates into losing some weight, finding a new job, being in another relationship, or what have you, then I will do it. I do not think that is too much to ask.

That was me, the new move and all and not knowing anyone but you guys. AS for the New year.
1: I would like to tone up, I'm there but I want to tone even more 2: Try to get out and meet new people where I live, can't be lonly anymore in 2008. 3: Hit the amuzement park a few times this year. (Didn't get to go this year because of my move here. 4: I'm hoping to improve myself even more, thry something new. 5: Spend some time with my Swedish friend Web, she's moving back near my parents place since I'm back in NC. (4 1/2 hours away) biggrin

I never make resolutions! I'm perfect already! mrgreen
In all seriousness though, I never do. I rather just go with the flow..?
But, I do resolve to be a better mod for the guild.

I resolve to make more of an effort with my friends, and also to cut loose the friends who bring me down. It's time to reassess!
