i probably skewed resolutions....my spelling is atrocious at time when i type fast.
ANYWAY! new years eve is tommorrow and this is the first year in 20 that ive bothered to make a resolutions, mainly after a particularly tough '07 (which has been brightening up in the last 2 weeks).
anyone have any resolutions that they want to make to themselves for this year?
my own: -be more opptimistic (07 was not my year for several reasons....) -get in shape (the old tyme cliche but to make sure im gonna follow it im going to enroll in phys. ed classes every semester in school...much cheaper than gym membership and more fun! haha) -buy my guitar and amp (because im tired of playing solo and now i have the funds to back it up if i can manage my money) -get past this rut and get out more (theres a big reason 07 sucked) -continue my edumakaytion. -meet one person from this guild (god dam its a long shot but im fairly sure theres another guildie here from so cal or visiting....hell if you guys visit we could hit up disneyland or something!) -meet someone worth it. (if i have to explain this one .... hehe xp )
i could spoonfeed stuff but its more fun to let the mind wander and see what happens (sorry for all the text haha)

I don't really make resolutions, but these are things I'd like to accomplish in 2008:
1)Lose the 30ish pounds I have to go to make it to my current goal weight (Which is 200, I've lost 12+, and at my goal weight I'll be 200 exactly) If I manage that, I will re-group and set my new goal weight at probably 150, if I manage that and look like I could stand to lose a bit more (I have big bones and lots of muscle... but my grandma looks like she had a similar shape to me in her time and she was 125, which is the absolute lowest I'd even aim to be) then I will try to lose the rest by 2009 I'm guessing.
2)Eat more veggies, I've already started... I'd actually like to become vegetarian, but I have such a weakness for meat. My vegetarian friend inspires me, but I'm a creature of habit and comfort.
3)Get my friggin' tattoo! I've put it off a whole year! A whole friggin' year!
4)Get my own place, I have fantasies about living in some crappy, cheap apartment and making my own rules... doing what I want and being responsible for myself. Honest to God, fantasies. Oh, and a puppy... I have a puppy in that fantasy, too. But I'm still so immature when it comes to doing the adult things to care for myself, like making appointments and keeping track of bills.
5)At least keep on with going to school... but I have to find out where I'm gonna get the money for this semester's classes, and fast!
6)Find local photographers to photograph me and see if I'd still be interested in/have what it takes to become a plus-sized model of some sort.
7)Try to be more social.

I have only one resolution, and that's to do well in school this semester. Boring, but practical.

I would like to:
1] Get fit. I don't care if I don't end up losing weight, I would like to look a little more toned. Honestly, if I could get my tummy a little more flat looking I'd be a happy camper.
2] Get serious about school. I want to bring up my grades. And not be absent as much... Must take more vitamins to avoid getting sick.
3] Get a job.
4] I need to figure out where my relationship with my boyfriend is going. I'm feeling iffy lately, so when he gets back which will be after the new year, I'll have to sit him down and have us a very serious talk.

I decided not to make resolutions this year. I always break them. So I decided to just avoid that altogether this year. There are lots of things that I want to accomplish, but they might take more than a year. And when 2009 comes around and I haven't completed them entirely yet, I dont want to feel like I failed.

It took me all of January to realize what my goals are xD 1. Take a kick-boxing class and (possibly) join some sort of fight club. Taking out my aggression in a physical way seems like a good way to spend a couple evenings each week, rather than letting it build up and then exploding on innocent bystanders. (Sorry guys. 07 wasn't my year xD) 2. Learn to play any stringed instrument. I have a guitar teacher all lined up, and if all goes according to plan, by the end of 08 I won't be completely atrocious. 3. Stop taking relationships/friendships so seriously. I live and die by the whims of other people, and I've got to knock that s**t out. 4. Attend at least one concert a month, even if that means going to see some crappy local bluegrass band and flicking peanuts at the dumbass guys. I'm still going. 5. Work on proving to the world that I am, in fact, the s**t. I spent 07 in a state of self hatred, and it didn't do much for me, so to hell with that. 6. Continue losing weight until I feel healthy.
