"Uck!" Adaya said as she tried to reach for that perfect apple on the tree. Adaya was no giant, juat an average sized mare, trying to reach an apple on an above average sized tree. "Chomp" went her teeth as they snapped the air. She scowled and bucked the tree, causing apples to fall and bruise. "I ,huff huff, must!, huf huf. GET THE APPLE!" Adaya exclaimed.

The spotted stallion tilted his head a little at a sound in the distance. It sounded as though someone had hit a tree. His curiosity got the better of him and he made his way over to see whoever or whatever made the strange noise. Apple's light gray eyes scouted the area as he continued his search. The gray ears of the stallion were pricked forwards like radars, catching every almost sound that was made.

Adaya was just about to blow it, until she decided to look around for anyone she could get to assist her, then she saw the grey tips of horse ears, followed by a head and a body as the stallion trotted up the hill. Adaya felt static shoot up her body as she had and idea, and soon put on an innocent face.

When Apple found the source of the noise, his head tilted a little. Her face looked as if she wanted something. The kind of face a little foal would do if they wanted a treat of some kind. His once perked ears relaxed and they moved around to listen to the sounds that surrounded him and the mare. "Hello miss." Apple said in his usual calm, friendly voice.

Adaya smiled lightly and said "Hello, my name is Adaya. What may your name be?" Her expression melted into a kind and soft expression, but judging by his facial expression, she wasn't fooling anyone.
So she then said, "Being a tall, kind stallion like yourself, I was wondering if you could POSSIBLY reach that apple on the top branch of the tree?" Adaya smiled a cheesy smile but then, she said, "well, I don't want to waste your time, so you can be on your way..." and she turned her head with a sorrowful expression on her face, hoping he would get the bait.

"I might be Apple-oosa, but you can call me Apple." He said with his normally kind expression. It truly didn't bother him to help the mare. All she had to do was ask. When she did ask him, he nodded his head. "You are not wasting my time. I have nothing better to do." He said, know that she was trying to pull a trick on him. Apple acted as if she had fooled him and followed her towards the tree that had the apple the mare wanted in it.

Adaya smiled kindly, but knowing the expressions of most horses she'd tricked, his was not the same, he may have some doubt about her plea, but that thought dissapeared when he approached the tree. But along with the thougfht, her crooked smile dissapeared with it, seeing the height of the tree. She shook her head with doubt. "Thank you Apple," she said.

His eyes slowly searched the tree for the apple the blueish mare wanted. It was pretty high, but Apple was pretty sure he could get it. The spotted stallion flicked his ears forward, took a step back and pushed the front part of himself off the ground. In a few seconds, he grabbed the apple by the stem with his teeth, making sure that he did not touch the red part of the apple with his mouth in anyway. The mare probably wouldn't have liked it if he put his mouth on her apple. Quietly, he placed the apple in front of Adaya and nodded his head. "There you go, one perfect apple."

Adaya looked down at her apple "Perrrfect! Thank you Apple!" she said excitedly. She bit down on the apple and funished it off real quick. I have energy to burn now! she said happily. She turned to Apple, "So, what do you want to do now?" Adaya asked him in a polite way.

"Any time." The spotted stallion said simply. He was going to continue his walk, but when the mare spoke to him again he stopped for a minute. "Hm... whatever the lady would like to do." Apple said looking to Adaya with a warm smile on his face. He stood waiting for the mare to answer as his ears moved forward so they could catch her words easier.

"uh-oh" Adaya thought to herself. She tended to say a bit more to her victim before she left them bewildered and let their jaw drop in dissapointment, but why did she have to ask what he wanted to do? So she replied like she usually did when she was trying to get rid of someone, "Well, um... Up for a race? Just over that meadow over there," Adaya said, gesturing to the patch of grassy land before them. Adaya was pretty fast, the only soquili to have really beat her in a race was Qin, there may have been more, but she couldn't remember at the moment. After swallowing the last of her apple, she bounded down the hill, letting the wind comb through her mane, she hadn't felt free since the day before yesterday.

"A race?" Apple said aloud. He gently shrugged his shoulders and nodded his head. A race sounded fun. His ears flicked forward to listen to the mare's rules and where the two would race to. The stallion's eyes followed towards where the mare spoke of. It wasn't too far. When she took off, Apple followed. His hooves pounded against the earth and his muscles rippled as he ran.

Adaya's hooves pounded on the ground as she propelled herself forward, daring to look back, she saw that Apple was catching up pretty fast, she took a sharp turn and tried to get him from catching up to her
