Now, I know this topic isn't really complex, but still. >>
Only 2% of those claiming the Christian faith try to share their faith with others. Now, in the Bible it tells us that we should spread the Word of God to every living creature. So really, if we just hide in our little worlds and talk to God about men, and not to men about God, we are kind of being hypocrites, neh?
Like a firefighter who sits and watches a house burn own as the family is engulfed in flames, although he swore to protect them. We stand by and watch as our loved ones will be sent to Hell because we were afraid to teach them about God.
Preaching to others is hard. It really is. Most people feel embarrassed, or they don't want to offend the person, that they'll be faced with a question they can't answer. o they don't do anything about it. That's something that really should be changed. Just as a football player trains himself to play football, we should train ourselves to teach others about God.
But hat I want to know is, do you talk to people about God? Do you witness to others? Or, are you part of the 98% that doesn't? If so, would you like to learn how to witness to someone?

I think it's always hardest to talk to those who are close to you, because you know, or at least you think you know, how they are going to react, and if they don't take the word well then you don't want to argue with them and lose them. With strangers you can tell them about the Lord and if they listen to you that's great, if they don't you can keep pressing on and at the end of the day just walk away hoping you've made a difference.

I've only witnessed once, to a friend, and it wasn't that easy, but he ended up coming to the Lord. I'm a naturally shy person, so talking to complete strangers would be really hard for me... sweatdrop

I've gone twice with my youth group on mission trips where we share the gospel with people on the riverwalk, and last year was my first time and it was pretty hard. This year it was a lot easier. All of my family is Christian, so I don't have a lot of witnessing to do there. I have two uncles who are pastors and listening to them preach is very interesting. I don't find it too hard with my friends either. Many of them are Christians, and the ones who aren't know that I am and respect that. When opportunity presents itself I try to share my faith, but I don't force it on them constantly. When they can they come to youth group. I just pray that someday they may come to see the Truth.

Strangers are the hardest to talk to about faith. Mainly it is because I like to have a good approach. I don't know how to just approach a stranger and ask if they believe in God or not. I am too nervous that I will mess everything up somehow. My family is Christian. Most of my friends are Christians. Those who aren't respect that I am. ^^

Hm, I think that it is easier to talk to the people closer to you, like friends and family. This may sound rude, but, most people instinctively have more concern for their close and loved ones than they do for the average Joe Bloggs on the street, and alot of people, myself included, find it fairly easy to talk to friends and family. But one thing I find hard is trying to talk to a stranger, as you do not know how they will react, or who they are.
Well, thats my view. anyone aggree or disagree?(Now im just trying to make a dsiscussion, which hopefully the people who dont witness at all will join and learn how to ^^; )

I think it depends on the person. A person who is mostly extroverted and places importance on outside people, will usually be more concerned with strangers and find them more comfortable to witness to. I'm one of those people. More introverted people who place an importance on what's close to them will more likely be more comfortable witnessing to friends and family. So, which are you question
