He climbed up the rocky path that he had guided Kalosyni down not all that long ago, figuring it was best to give his wings a rest after the run in he'd had with a harsh gust of wind coming off of the sea. He had told his sister that he'd return with more stories soon... Which he honestly hoped he would. He enjoyed the smile that they brought to her face, as smile as they might be.

She'd gone back and talked to her mother for a bit and checked up on her sisters and her father before she'd decided to wander around again. She had eventually found herself heading back toward the cliffs without actually thinking about it. It wasn't until she noticed that she could hear the ocean not far off that she realized where she was.
"Well .... i did say i'd come back eventually..." She just hadn't said it would be so soon.

He couldn't helo but laugh as he heard a soft voice the moment he reached the top of the trail. "... And to think... I came up all this way because I had told you I would pay you a visit in the woods."

"Ack!" She jumped slightly when she heard another voice. "Oh ... Acheron.. it's just you." She hung her head slightly and laughed a bit at her own jumpyness. That's what she got for being caught off guard when she was thinking.
"You did. I just, it had been a while and i was wandering about and i guess i came this way." She smiled sheepishly as she looked at him.

He took a step back as she jumped, pulling his wings tightly against his body which made him wince slightly from the strain. "... My apologies. I didn't mean to startle you... I should have announced myself better."

She saw him wince and walked over to touch her nose to his. "I didn't make you hurt yourself did i? You didn't startle me that bad. I should have been paying attention." She had been walking near a cliff after all. If she didn't pay attention she could have just walked off of it.

He let the touch of nose linger for a moment before sliding his cheek gently against hers, pulling back quickly once he'd realized what he'd done. "No, you didn't make me hurt myself, lady. I am just as fine now as I was when we first met." He nodded slowly, letting a slight smile curve the corners of his mouth. "Has the winter been treating you kindly? I saw snow falling the other night..."

"It's been a bit cold but a dark hide is good for heating up in the morning sun." She smiled as she stepped back. She had curled up with her family during the snow fall so it hadn't been too horrible.

"I will hazard a guess that a dark hide is just as good as dark feathers since my own hide is a bit on the lighter side." He managed a wry grin, tail flickering behind him with amusement. "I suppose I should step aside so that you can make your way down to the sea that you have come to see."

"Actually..." She looked down sheepishly for a moment. "I didn't really come to see the sea, technically." She'd come because she said she would come visit again and that was to visit Acheron and Ela if she was around.
"If i wanted to see the sea i can see it form up here anyway. I woudln't have to go down."

"Mm... You can see it but you don't really get the same experience. There's something to be said for sand sticking wherever it can." He smirked, that expression quickly fading as he rustled his wings out of habit only to have the one tug again.
"Ah, well... If you did not come to see the sea what is it that you came to see?"

"What, pray tell, would you be intruding upon? Other than, perhaps, my walk towards the forest... Which would have come to a premature end the moment I crossed paths with you on your way here anyways, no?" His brow lofted slightly as he extending the wing that wasn't sore, trailing a feather along her cheek. "Would you care to go for a walk?"

"It wouldn't have had to end if you'd not wanted company." She smiled at him as the feathers brushed her cheek. That wasn't something she'd felt before and it was interesting.
"A walk would be nice though. Along the Cliffs?" They could listen to the ocean that way but still be far enough from it that they could speak.

"Unless you would prefer to walk down by the sea... At which point I might do a bit of fussing. It is going to take long enough to clean my feathers later should I chose not to go back down there come nightfall." He managed a wry grin of sorts as he turned to begin walking along the stretch of land along the cliffs.
