It wasn't that the stallion vanished, but he lay low for awhile, trying to figure himself out. It was the first night in months that he decided to set out, and the land was as putrid and disgusting as he remembered. His scent must have been obvious, since anything that might have been on the air vanished from his reach. When he had.. transformed.. many didn't know of what Skinwalkers were, and what they could do. New information explained that more Skinwalkers were roaming in the land now, and that made the beast cringe in disgust. If he would ever be approached by one.. he would surely lose it. He knew of one other, a gray someone, but the fact was long forgotten. He didn't ask to be cursed, but at the same time, he enjoyed every second that his cold heart blinked.
His body was still small and nimble, and he crept throughout the chilly forest, feeling energetic in the frigid atmosphere. His pelt, as disgusting as it was, kept him as warm as he needed. He would hunt tonight, for the first time in a long time. And he WOULD be successful, since he deemed it so.
With one hoof forward, Rasputin then shifted into a small trot, since the snow underneath his hooves kept him silent enough in the dark atmosphere. He thought he had finally picked a scent up, and as he kept moving, a presence could be felt not too far away..

The mare couldn't sleep, and as she wandered on by herself, she continued to build up chills in her spine. The night was extra dark, probably because there were clouds also covering the night sky. Her mind was buzzed with terrible thoughts, and she suddenly felt very ill in worry. She hadn't seen anyone in her family in so long, and she wondered if she had been forgotten. Was it possible, to be erased even while being alive? The anxieties the mare was feeling continued to haunt her, and Tequila finally rested herself on a tree to catch up in breath. She tried breathing in, but the air was not making its way up to her brain. Instead, it was lingering, and making her huff more.
She could see the frosty atmosphere that was building around her mouth, and she realized it was much too cold for her to cry. Instead, she just stood there, and wondered how much longer it would be until she was completely erased from the earth itself. Why would these thoughts plague her on such terrible nights? This had happened before, and as much as the mare hated admitting to it, there was something obviously wrong! She couldn't handle the loneliness anymore, and she would have to do something about it.

Rasputin had his pink eyes glued on the female. She was completely off guard, and from the looks of things, she was also in her own world. This intrigued the stallion, and he realized that his prey would be much easier to catch then he suspected. Once he had found her scent, he couldn't believe how close she was to him. It only took him a few moments of trotting to find this weak female. What the hell was she doing? The female only reminded him of what pathetic creatures lived and breathed every day.
The stallion never played games, since he didn't find any of that humorous or funny. Instead, he slowly crept out of the shadowy background, and lingered behind the female. Her skin was so dark but beamy, and her hair looked as though it had streaks of blood in it from the red. Soon there would be more blood, and that excited the stallion. His tongue wanted to curl out of his mouth, and he wanted to lash forward.
Before he did anything completely rash, he only crept closer, until he was almost touching the female's body. "You are very stupid." was all he said, and he snarled his teeth in a loud rage. Before the female could turn her head, or even bolt, he bit into the back of her neck quickly, before pulling his mouth out at the taste of warm and luscious blood.
He DID NOT suspect that the mare would kick him as hard as she did, and the Skinwalker stumbled backwards before catching his feet again. The blood slide off of his teeth and down his throat, and he suddenly felt more alive then he had been in months.

Kitsune bolted throughout the forest as quickly as he could, since he not only smelled blood at this point, but he also smelled a Skinwalker. If there was blood and a Skinwalker, then someone was definitely getting attacked. The stallion was swift in his movements, and he clenched at his sword as tightly as he could. His body was too excited and nervous at the recent smells, since it had been awhile since he had fought. He had spent so much time raising a family and relaxing, that he felt like his training was going to waste!
He finally smelled someone who was definitely in danger, and he would be there to protect them. That was his way, and he was always running amok in the night in hopes of helping others. He hoped that the prey he was trying to save wasn't dead yet, and that his efforts wouldn't be lost. Under his breath he kept mumbling random words to himself, since he was hopeful that he would find whoever was in danger as soon as possible..

Something terrible was behind Tequila, and it wasn't until she felt the wound on her neck when she kicked as hard as she could. When the monster had backed up away from her, her eyes widened to see a Skinwalker. She was hoping for a Kalona, and now it was a Skinwalker?! Never in her nightmares did she think she could ever see one up close, and this one was scary from its strange form and markings. There was something that made it terrible, whether it was the pink or the wings.. she wanted to scream! It was so ugly, and she felt her body shiver naturally from its sight.
The mare then lowered her head, and felt the terrible pain and blood that was dripping off of her body. s**t.. the wound was not fatal at the moment, but it hurt so much. The mare had never felt pain like this, and she wanted to close her eyes and let it all end. But she was a fighter, wasn't she? Just because she was depressed that evening, didn't mean she wanted to die!
"Why are you doing this?" she then said, with a quivering voice.

Rasputin felt no sadness for this mare. Instead, he felt angry. Why didn't these pests understand? Her life was worthless anyways, and it was natural for him to kill her. "You are my prey, so I should kill you." he then said, while leaving the mare with almost no words. Everything he said was true, and Rasputin knew it. He had to deal with the same crap every time he tried to kill someone. They would throw him a pity party, and he would ignore them and continue to rip them to shreds.
There was nothing new about this mare, and he expected every word she said.
With a swish of his blood stained tail, the Skinwalker then bound forward again, and tried to pick up speed as quickly as he could. His heart was pounding, but that was only because he wanted to feel this mares blood in his mouth once again. He wanted to eat at the luscious pieces of meat on her body, and he also wanted to end the voice that was wailing for help.
As he was finally approaching the mares body once again, he noticed her attempts at bolting or zig zagging, and while he could award her for her quick speed, the stallion quickly lowered his head to tear into one of her legs. A large chuck of skin was torn off, and he watched the mare fall instantly.
Rasputin gleamed at the new plan of action, but as he lowered his head once again, he felt the weakened leg knock into his face, which then hurt his left eye terrible! The beast snarled and backed up, before opening and closing his eye rapidly. This mare was more triumphant then he thought, and he would have to watch her, since he was idiotic to fall for the same tactic twice! "Like I said, you are very stupid!" he yelled, while trying to ignore his face's stinging pain.

"STOP!" the orange stallion then yelled, as he slid in between the Skinwalker and the mare. Kitsune then tried to evaluate the situation as quickly as he could, and he noticed that the mare had done her best, but she lay on the ground now in pain. The Skinwalker was hardly damaged, but if anything, he looked psyched out or something. The mare had done something to keep the Skinwalker away, since she wasn't dead yet.
Kitsune fixed his stance, and slide the sheath off of his sword. "You best be leaving this mare alone. You'll have to deal with me now." His tail swished back and forth, and his adrenaline was pumping. As long as he damaged this Skinwalker enough, he would hopefully leave this mare alone. The orange stallion then brought his eyes on the mare's, and he only nodded at her affectionately. Damn. What a terrible night she was going through!
The stallion then quickly brought his focus back on the Skinwalker, and he breathed deeply before darting forward to attack the beast. His legs were well rested, so they were swift and as fast as he could use them. His grip on his dagger was perfect, and once he was close enough to the stallion, he avoided a terrible attempted bite, and sliced the stallion straight up his neck. Kitsune then felt the pressure from the Skinwalker's body against his, and let the impact push him away for a moment. It hadn't occured to the stallion how small this Skinwalker was compared to him, but his flutter wings made Kitsune wonder if he used to be a different breed.
He had heard that some Skinwalkers had been cursed, and he wondered if this stallion was one of them. Either way, although his side ached from the impact, he was glad to see the monster was finally bleeding. Hopefully that would open up his eyes on the situation. Kitsune had fought numerous Kalonas, but never a Skinwalker. He knew they were especially dangerous for this reason, so he was careful in how he would attack or defend.

Tequila couldn't believe that a stallion had arrived. It took her a moment, but she knew who he was. She had met him long ago, and he was quite a ruthless stallion. He was always so cocky, and he also trained all the time. She wondered why he would appear out of nowhere, and as she tried to lift herself up, she felt more blood spill out of her leg wound.
The mare then decided to stay at her position on the ground, and leave her leg alone. She needed to stop the movement, so large amounts of blood would stay in her body. More anxieties started to flow into her body, and she couldn't believe her current situation. She lay on the dirty ground, covered in her own blood. She was about to be eaten, and she somehow survived death for a moment. And now? Kitsune had come in to help her. Would they both die? Tequila closed her eyes and tried to tell herself that she would accept that fate if that were what was coming...

Rasputin had to admit, he was stunned. Out of nowhere, some orange stallion appeared, and he also sliced his side. The Skinwalker looked down, and watched to blood drip off of his side. He couldn't decide who was stupidest, the stallion or the mare? Rasputin couldn't hide the fact that the other stallion was quite skilled, but that didn't phase the Skinwalker at all. If anything, his reaction was plain and simple. His brows lowered, and his teeth finally showed themselves. In an outraged manner, the Skinwalker darted forward, and hoped to tear at this stallion's flesh.
There was no reason for Rasputin to talk, so instead he took the initiative to attack this orange stallion. He would rip at him, and eat as much flesh as he could. And in the end, they would BOTH be dead. No matter what hope they had in their little minds, Rasputin knew what the outcome would be, and he would be patient until it would happen.
Once Rasputin was neck and neck with the other stallion, he twirled his leg around and tore at the orange stallion's stomach. Rasputin might have been smaller, but grabbing at the side of the stomach meant for more meat anyways! Unfortunately, the other stallion sliced his two front legs almost too quickly, and Rasputin was forced to let go. It wasn't a complete loss, since Rasputin watched as a load of blood fell off of the orange stallion. Rasputin tried to quickly toss another bite into the stallion's side, but the stallion dodged his efforts, and was off to the side again.
Rasputin was not phased by his own wounds, and instead he stared straight ahead, and watched the orange stallion, knowing fully well that he would soon get very weak.
This was always a game. Every single time. And right now, Rasputin was quite aware of his winning streak.

Kitsune was not in panic mode yet, but he was worried. The Skinwalker had damaged him almost too well, and Kitsune couldn't believe how fast and strong he was. He looked so dinky, being smaller then him, and having pink little wings. Kitsune would never judge another fighter again, and the wound on his side was slowly teaching him that obvious fact.
The situation was getting sticky. What made it worse, was how silent and deadly the other stallion was being. He wasn't saying a word, and he was just attacking randomly. He was so primal and animalistic, and Kitsune had never seen something so revolting before.
He noticed that his grip on his sword was weakening, and that meant that he was losing energy and strength. Kitsune realized how terrible that was, and with a worried step backwards, he readied himself instead for the next move the Skinwalker would make.

Spade was flying overhead when he saw the scene unfolding. His eyes were showing him that a mare was on the ground, bleeding, and that a stallion was standing and defending, also bleeding, and that a Skinwalker was present, who was ALSO bleeding. The fumes of blood are what brought the stallion close to the situation, and he only stared for a few moments before landing himself over a mile or so. He couldn't allow for that mare and orange stallion to die.. not because some stupid Skinwalker had approached. Skinwalkers and Kalonas.. they were such despicable creatures. Spade, despite his utter attraction to the blood present, was NOT going to let the Skinwalker get his way.
Especially what had happened to him, when that pink mare had saved him.. she had healed him, and wasn't afraid to help him, despite his looks and race. She showed him such a happy and pure light, and that everything would be ok. She showed him that he had a reason to live, and right now was another reason!
The memory was enough to bring the stallion over to the situation, and he fled as quickly as he could, following the strong fumes of blood that drifted into his nose.

Tequila continued to lay on the ground, and she felt her heart melt as she watched Kitsune lose his strength. Yes.. they would both die soon, wouldn't they? It would all be over.. all of the terrible thoughts she had, and all of the loneliness she had felt. She didn't deserve a second change, and as a matter of fact, she didn't deserve any chance at all.
She was pathetic, and she had come to accept that. She couldn't even help Kitsune.. she couldn't do anything, actually. Tears slowly dripped off of her face, and she quickly realized how cold she was feeling. In a shiver, she curled up and decided to hide from the scene in front of her, and hope that something would change the horrible situation she made for herself.

It was a wonderful feeling, and Rasputin finally allowed himself a toothy grin when he watched all of the hope vanish from the air. Both the orange stallion and the mare were at a loss of life, and apparently they had both come to accept their fates. At least they were behaving now, and they were being good little pests.
"I am glad you are complying, now." he then said, while shaking off his pain-struck legs. Since the orange stallion was still up and standing, Rasputin figured that he should try and kill him first. Then he could move on to the mare, and his night would finally be complete. He would only say good riddance when the night was finally over, since pests got what they deserved.
Every race, and every Soq was pathetic to him. He wanted as many killed off as possible, and it made him comforted knowing that he would be killing two more just tonight.
With another step forward, he shifted into a fast gallop, and he tore into the leg that the orange stallion suddenly kicked at him. He WAS going for the neck, but a leg had appeared at Rasputin. Rather then getting hit, he adjusted his position, and decided to throw the stallion down onto the ground. It really was a wonderful sight, to see two Soquili lying on the ground in blood, and under his own feet.
He was about to consume his catches, when something rammed into his body. The Skinwalker flew backwards, and was able to stop his body with a tree in his path. He was COMPLETELY off guard, and he lifted his eyes to see something red and big standing in front of him.

It was all over now, wasn't it? Ah well, Kitsune always wanted to die in a fight that he couldn't win. That was one of his goals, at least. And if he needed to accept defeat to a Skinwalker, so be it. The situation only became worse when he saw the Kalona above him. Did the Gods really hate him and Tequila? Or were they really trying to make this situation impossible? Now there were two terrible creatures, and their lives were most definitely over.
Tequila's mind was racing with the same thought's of Kitsune's, and she hid her head as much as she could, only to hide from the worsened scene in front of her. "I'm sorry, Kitsune!" she yelled, before crying even more. Why couldn't she just die? Poor Kitsune.. this was all her fault..
