 Burr! It was cold out and the filly wasn't quite sure why this place was warmer than her old home near the two-leggers, but warmth didn't lie. Or at least she didn't think it did, you never could be too certain with how things like this went, especially since it was her first time to witness the winter season. Scabbers had told her to stay with the humans for the duration of it, but she wasn't quite sure why. What could they do for her? Certainly she must go to some place that was much more appealing and where she wouldn't freeze every night.
And so, the paintaloosa foal had found her way to D'ob, a rather neat valley, but also very crowded at the same time. Perhaps that was why it was warm? Again her mind puzzled over such a question before slowly retreating into something much more pleasant than a simple question; she wanted to run! Oh boy did she want to run! With little whicker she had her ears flicking from side to side and her small feathered wing jostling about one another as if they had a mind of their own. And then an imaginary 'Go' was heard and she was off to race the winds! Silly, cold wind, she would beat it; as long as she didn't run into anything. Oh yes, Mec thought herself to be the fastest thing on four legs.

Olivia sat quietly in the overcrowded valley, squished between two Bae she had never met in her life. She looked up at the grey sky, looking like it wanted to drop something heavy. Just then a flash of black and wings zoomed through, ruining her concentration. What is that, Olivia thought to herself. It can't be a bird, and it doesn't look like a bae. Is it a jala, Olivia thought questioningly as the little black winged thing zipped through the sky.

((xD She's running on the ground, sorry for any confusion my post may have caused.))
What could be better than racing the wind, certainly it wouldn't beat her? She hoped not anyway, but it was always hard to tell while racing an invisable opponent that cheated at every chance it got. Yup, cheated, for Mec was fairly sure that the wind took shortcuts. Despite this however, she was still a foal, and her game was slowly drawing to close as her energy began to run out. Oh man, it was difficult running, there were trees, nequus, and many other things she had to be careful to not run into, but most of which she fairly ignored. Finally giving up on her game, the Jala filly slowed to a very jerky trot and headed back in the other direction. She wished Scabbers were here, for though she was warm at the moment from running, she was certain it would get cold once more. With a rather preoccupied gaze she continued back to a spot she had seen before that looked fairly clear of crowd, or at least she thought so. She didn't exactly get a good look at it. Unknowingly in the same direction of Olivia.

Olivia curiously watched the foal slow down to a normal pace. Then, as if the foal had seen her watching her, she started walking towad Olivia. Olivia sharply turned her head, and pretended not to look at the foal, but to talk to the bae next to her. She looked up slowly again, the foal still heading toward her. Olivia looked away slowly, hoping the foal wouldn't come by her.
[Olivia seems to not be very friendly. xD]

Buurr! With a heavy shake from her limber, small body the filly attempted to keep the warmth to her coat, wondering momentarily what the adults did to keep themselves warm. Certainly there had to be some secret! True, Mecriana was much smaller than them, but shouldn't that mean it was easier for her to stay warm? She thought so, but then again Scabbers had always been there with her to lay down with if she got cold. Oh dear, she certianly missed her little zrun friend!
It was as the filly was walking down her little imaginary path, past adults and other foals alike with a gaze that merely seemed to look through them all, she found herself nearly at the hooves at a rather large adult. Then again, all adults were large to the small foal. With a rather surprised jerk of her head upwards, and her feathered wings shufflings out of a start she caught sight of the bae mare. Luckily, she seemed to be a bit pre-occupied talking to someone, or something, for certainly Mec didn't want her to see that.
Still though... "Oop, sorry Miss. I g'ess I was't payien enough attention." Her speach was rather poor, but then again, it always had been.
