Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind
"After a thousand years of darkness, he will come, clad in blue and surrounded by fields of gold to restore mankind's connection of the Earth that was destroyed. And he will guide the people of this planet at last to a land of purity." The prophecy foretold became reality as the Ohmu raised her into the air, reviving her. As she walks through the golden field the Ohmu create, clad in blue as the prophecy had foretold, rejoice can be heard. Afterwards the Ohmu journey home in peace, the Tolmekian with no more need to stay departing, as Nausicaä begins to help rebuild the Valley of the Wind. And as foretold, she guides her people to a land of purity... Now, only a year after Nausicaä's work on helping restore peace to the valley, comes a new tale as Tolmekia comes under siege from a neighboring country, Slythl, whilst ambushing Kushana on her trip back from an expedition into the Toxic Jungle. Word comes to the valley as retreating forces from Tolmekia arrive seeking provisions. Yupa gives them permission to rest there for the night and begins to supply them with the needed provisions, meanwhile worrying for the safety of the valley and it's people. Nausicaä, not hesitating sneaks out that night with Asbel and her faithful Fox-Squirrel to travel to Tolmekia, where the story begins to unfold...

Unveiling
Further in depth, the story begins after an expedition into the Toxic Jungle led by Kushana, the Princess of Tolmekia. Her first journey into the Toxic Jungle after her ships were ambushed by a Pejite Gunship. With Kushana's first encounter up close with an Ohmu, and the sights she witnessed led her to take a further interest in what laid further in. Curiosity getting the better of her, she led expedition into the Toxic Jungle, where Tolmekia was left in the (un)reliable hands of Kurotawa. Whether it was the fact that a/n (in)competent leader was in charge of Tolmekia at the time or whether Slythl was looking to expand, is unbeknownst to the Tolmekians nor the Valley of the Wind.
Meanwhile, back at the Valley of the Wind, Nausicaä with her knowledge helped lead her people to a better life. Replanting the forest, irrigating the land to bring purified water to the valley, and teaching the young ones to glide were only some of her acts. Whilst restoring peace in the valley, she also restored peace between the her people and the insects of the jungle. Asbel and her Fox-Squirrel by her side the whole way. Pejite was welcomed into the valley along with Asbel, where he and Nausicaä continued to develop their relationship.
Slythl, remaining for as far as everyone could remember a solitude kingdom, was thought to be harmless. Contact between neighboring countries was left a minimum, with no contact with Tolmekia nor the Valley of the Wind to give any clues to their status. While they were left untouched, continued on with whatever secrets lied inside. Their abrupt attack on Tolmekia, with such impressive machinery was an uncalled for event, still many flabbergasted wait in fear for what is to come.

Characters (images to be added later, self written bio's to be written later as well)
Nausicaä~ (CantiNaota)
Nausicaä is the beloved Princess of the Valley of The Wind. She is a skilled jet-powered glider pilot and also has a special connection with animals. She does not share the same fear for them that most others do, and is often visits the Fukai to do research.
Yupa
Yupa is from the Valley of the Wind and is an old friend of Nausicaä's father, King Jiru. He is also Nausicaä's mentor, but left the Valley when she was 14 in order to research the Fukuoka's. His goal has been to solve the mysteries of the Fukais, in hopes of preventing them from spreading and eliminating the existence of mankind. Yupa is a well respected person in the Valley, and his return to the Valley after a year and half of wandering was welcomed by all. During his time away, he visited many villages there were destroyed the Fuakis, and sadly reported that wars and famine now exist in too many places of Earth. Yupa is a skilled sword/knivesman, and saved the Pejite people from being killed by the Tolumekians.
Asbel
Prince of the Kingdom of Pejite, Asbel took revenge on the Tolumekians when they kidnapped his twin sister Lastelle. He shot down their planes, but when he saw Nausicaä signalling him to stop, he was distracted and was shot down himself. Although young in age, he is a very good fighter pilot. At first, he was in support of the Pejitians' plan to terminate the Tolumekians at all cause, including killing the people of the Valley of the Wind. However, after he meets Nausicaä, he realizes what they are doing was wrong. He triesto save Nausicaä, but was knocked unconscious by his men. Later however, with the assistance of his Mother, he succeeds. He pushes Nausicaä off to save her people while he himself stays behidn to fight the attacking Tolumekians.
Kushana
The Fourth Imperial Princess of Tolumekia, Kushana's goal in life is to destroy the Fukais all the Omhus in exsistence. Her motive behind her determination is the fact that when she was a child, she was attacked by an Omhu, and as a result, her arm and two legs were amputated. She had to grow up with a metal shell as an arm and has been very angry ever since. Although at times she appears to be mean and cruel, she is actually very afraid. She puts up a strong front in order to hide her fears and actually has a very caring heart. As the story unfolded, she changed into a gentler and more caring person. When Mito returned to the Valley, she ordered her troops to stop firing at him because she was worried about Nausicaä's safety. So even though she led the invasion of the Valley, Kushana is not a hateful character. Her plight generates sympathy, and her goals and ideals are understandable. She could not have predicted the results of her actions and did not do anything out of cruelty or evilness.
Kurotawa
Kurotawa is Princess Kushanta's General and has a love/hate relationship with her. He was quite happy when reports came in that Kushana has been killed, but when she returned, he didn't seem to be angry at all. He is the type of person who likes to be in command of battles rather than actually be in them. Although he led the invasion on the Valley of the Wind, he is not exactly a bad guy. Like Kushana, he is not a hateful character because he is not evil, or mean or cruel. He just happens to have different ideals and goals than the people of the Valley of the Wind and he does what he does in the belief that they are for mankind's best interest.

If you wish to join, you must have watched, "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" & be an active, semi-lit role player. Other than following the rules, that's all your asked to do, besides sending me a PM and requesting your character. Rules~ 1) Follow Gaia ToS 2) Respect Others 3) Be Active 4) Semi-lit 5) Have Fun 6) Stick with the story 7) Have read at least the Prologue, Unveiling, and the above so your in full knowledge of the story and what you need to do.
