Well my friend, let's get one thing straight. The main umbrella that holds everything is called a forum. Each forum has threads posted by the user. You posted a thread, not a forum 3nodding
And only mods can do that. Normal people can only contact the mods and wish for it to be deleted.
And to answer your question while I'm here, the ranks go like this:
Member>Crew>Vice Captain>Captain
Most people will stay as members. The crew is basically the guild's moderators. The Vice Captains pretty much have all of the perks of the Captain, excepts a few little things. Then the Captain owns the guild. Make sense?
So it's more of a little thing to see who the leader believes is moderator worthy or not, so that's how it works 3nodding

Since we are short on members right now it limits the type of contests we can have. If there're only one or two contestants it wouldn't be much of a contest.
In fact I probably won't throw many contest, if any untill the English dub comes out since this guild would be more popular by then.
