Ok, so I was reading a comic that had to do with D**k Masterson's website, Menarebetterthanwomen.com, and I thought: Hey! Why not check it out for myself? So I did. That website got me so angry. stressed
I was thinking, what do you guys think of the website, or do you can discuss if men are better than women.
And yes, this can be deleted if it is found inappropriate.

Ivy And yes, this can be deleted if it is found inappropriate. 1. This is the Chatterbox. Not much is deleted here. blaugh 2. It's a serious, and often talked-about subject. I wouldn't call it "inappropriate." sweatdrop While I believe in equal rights between men and women, that doesn't mean that it happens. Having taken an Advanced Placement course for U.S. history, I know that the 19th amendment (allowing women's suffrage) was only ratified about 100 years ago. To think... that for the hundreds of years that America existed before then that, politically and socially, men > women. neutral Everyone has their differences, but that doesn't necessarily make one "better" than another. 3nodding

Thank you, Scoot. You just proved that there are men who believe in equal rights. That website is stupid! All the men that post on that website, excluding a very few, believe in the stuff that that man wrights.
Woman should be treated as equals. Just because men may be stronger, doesn't mean that they're better than us. sad And to think, some of those men have daughters.

While I personally believe that men and women are equal and both are better at something than the other I try to stay away from this issue. Particularly because now anything you say gets you deemed a sexist or a racist or something along those lines.

I haven't yet looked at the website... sweatdrop Not when other people are in the room.
Today's definition of "racist" is a rather broad one.

Did you know Colored Americans (African, Asian, Native, and Hispanic) could vote before women?

I'm with you guys about equality and equal rights. I'm far too tired of hearing and seeing one sex dominating the other. However I will admit that every sex has their weakness and there are others that blur the borders of what is proper for that sex.
Our world is so much different than it was 50 years ago.. even 20 years ago. We have stay home dads and other role reversals that didn't happen commonly in the last 10-20 years.
What it really comes down to is that both sexes need to do their equal share of everything from working to cleaning to parenting. Split everything down the middle and not to make it a power struggle. I just personally think it creates more conflict.

We should all be considered equal. To face the world together as one. Those that try to say one person is better than another because of race, ethnicity, birth, money, status, religion or sex just make me shake my head. Why do we as a global society need to feel empowered over other human beings? It's great to see that we are taking great strides to in trying to create a full equality, but we still have a long way to go.

Kita Cloud We should all be considered equal. That's true, but we should also respect and celbrate our differences. Blondes and brunettes have equal rights in society, but they're not the same person. Hispanics and blacks (theoretically) have the same amount of power in America, but aren't the same person. We all have our differences in gender, race, whatever, but that doesn't make one "better" than another. ^^ NO WAY!! eek I just checked if " womenarebetterthan men.com" existed, and do you know what happened!?! It redirected me to menarebetterthan women.com!

I think you're right, Scoot. I think that the menarebetterthanwomen.com bought out the womenarebetterthanmen.com . Man, are they feeling insure in their own little world or what? Needing to buy both domain names so they can't have an opposite from the women! rofl
Scoot: Also, I agree, differences should be celebrated, but not looked down upon in disdain, as they can be at times.

Kita Cloud Needing to buy both domain names so they can't have an opposite from the women! rofl Ivy's theory could be correct, too. I mean, sometimes if you mispell popular sites (google, Yahoo, Gaia), it'll redirect you. But your theory is possible, too. And funny. blaugh I blame 2008. xd

It's funny, when we were dropping off my gf at her house last night (we had a party for New Years Eve) I had a weird chill, it made me shiver for a sec. That gave me the creeps.
Was it a premonition? Or the fact that I left my jacket at home? blaugh
