((Rp for myself and Natty))  Bubbles knew this would be an interesting day from the start. She'd hoped she'd find another of her kind but instead she had seen two of the land walkers. One that had strange looking wings and horns and another with tentacles on his face. Land walkers really were strange things, she wondered what the other land dwellers looked like, if they all looked as strange as those two. Maybe if she waited by the shore she'd stumble upon another one!
So she waited out in the shallows, her head poked out of the water every once in a while to see if anyone was coming. Most of the time there was nothing and she would continue her conversations with the local fish. They also spoke of how strange they looked though they were frightened, not curious like her. They didn't wait around to see if they would be friendly or not.

Her first day away from the teepee and the small Usdia had already traveled to many areas. There was the dense forest, where the trees seemed to grow for ages. The tall mountains behind her teepee area... that was a long climb. A long river, filled with fish... she loved how it seemed to talk to her. It eventually lead her to a beautiful lake.
Ayasha continued to follow this river away from the lake and it eventually lead her to a sandy area with water crashing to its shores. Her head tilted at the sight of it, always being inland where there was no endless water. With a curious nicker, she walked closer to the water, listening to the sound of the water as it flowed back and forth onto the sand, unaware of any who might be under the water.

A nicker interrupted Bubbles' fascination with a local jelly fish and she poked her head up above the surface again. Another land walker! This one had very nice coloring and didn't look as weird or creepy as the other two. But it was also...much smaller. She continued to watch the little creature, wondering what this one would do. Though she couldn't prevent her tail from flapping on the water every once in a while but hoped it wouldn't distract the creature.

Now at the edge of the water, Ayasha bent her head down to sniff it. Intaking an odd smell, she let out a snort, tossing her long mane as she brought her head back up. It was then that she noticed something splashing about in the water. Could that be a fish? She peered out where the splashing was occuring, hoping to catch glimpse of what was causing it.

Bubbles went on watching the little land walker until it stopped and focused on the spot where she was. She'd been spotted, cover blown. Oh well, might as well go say hi now, she though. Ducking back down underwater, she swam up closer to shore and brought her head up out of the water, not far from where the other stood. "Hi. Sorry for watching you. Curiousity's been getting the best of me today," she giggled. "I must say you're the smallest land walker I've seen though. Are you a young one?" she asked with a smile and a tilt of her head.

Ayasha frowned just slightly when she saw no sign of anything, but figured she was just seeing things amung the waves anyways. It was only when a dark silohette moved toward her, followed by a head poking out of the water when she realized that it wasn't her imagination. She didn't know what she was looking at, but it seemed to be another horse. Was she going swimming and didn't feel like coming out? She questioned that as the mare spoke. When her height was referred, she shook her head. "Hello there," she said softly, "I am not a foal as you suggest, but a full grown mare."

Very curious. A full grown mare but yet so small. Were the females all this small and just the males were big on land? She'd only met males so far and they both seemed around the same relative size. "So you're full grown, you say. Then are all the female land walkers as small as yourself?" Bubbles' tail swished back and forth, breaking the surface the same as before every once in a while as she spoke. Then again she hadn't seen any of her own kind yet. Were the males of her species much larger than her as well??

Such interesting questions... shouldn't she know this? She wondered, still haven't fully noticing the odd tail that belonged to the mare. "Well... no. There are much larger mares around as well. Though the ones with insect wings are still pretty small themselves... or at least, that's what I've come to notice." She replied, thinking of her herd members.

"So some are small and some are larger. That makes sense, that's how most things are I suppose." Bubbles recalled the creatures of the sea, they too were different sizes even though she didn't know the genders. "Insect wings? Like bug wings? Some of you land walkers have bug wings??? How strange! I saw another that had wings today too but his wings didn't have feathers, the looked smooth to me. Wow. So many variations! It's fascinating! Tell me more! What do some others look like?" The mare looked up to the Usdia with a smile and an excited gleam in her eyes, waiting to hear more about the land walkers.

Ayasha couldn't help but giggle lightly at the curiousity of the mare. When she was asked what other soquili looked like, she paused a bit, not knowing how to answer it. She hasn't met a lot of other horses herself, just the ones she met when she first came to this area. With a toss of her head, she tilted her head in thought. "Well, there are those with horns on their foreheads, unicorns I believe they're called. Some with large feathered wings like birds that can fly high in the air. The insect winged ones that I told you about, but they too can also have horns as well." She listed as she remembered, though she was sure that there were more types out there.

Bubbles listened intently, still fascinated about all the different types that lived on land. She'd only heard tales of a creature with a horn except it's called a narwhal, not a unicorn. And ones with large bird wings too, but that still left out the one that had the smooth wings, what was he? "These ones with insect wings. What kind of wings? There are many flying bugs you know."

"Well, I've only seen two types; butterfly and dragonfly type wings. But if there's those two types, I'm sure there's more like every kind of bug wings out there." The small mare told her. She was actually kind of curious to see all, or at least, most of the wings of these types of horses, but she knew that would take some time... especially with her tiny legs.

"Hm, very interesting. I've only glimpsed a dragonfly but I don't know if I've seen a butterfly." Not many bugs flew out over the ocean so who knew how many types of flying bugs there were. And to think there could be land walkers with those wings!
"You said you were full grown and yet you're so small. Are you called something special? Like a..different species or breed or something? Or...are you just small?" Bubbles giggled a little.

Now that she thought about it, even butterflies had different shaped wings from one another. "Well, there's a good difference between the two. Like dragonflies are mainly long with see through wings that are pretty much all the same shape. Butterflies on the other hand, have smaller bodies with larger wings that vary in shape and color. They're really pretty."
When she was asked about her species, she couldn't help but give a little blink. She quickly shook it off and smiled softly. "Um... I believe I heard my human call me an Usdia, but I'm not sure. What about yourself? I've never seen a horse stay in the water for as long as you have."

Bubbles tried to picture those butterflies in her head and came up with some image of a little bug with big bright colorful wings. "Wow. I wonder if I'll ever get to meet someone like that. Or even see a real butterfly." She tilted her head at the little horse. "An Us..Usdia? That's interesting. I'm a mer soquili, at least that's what I was called. And I stay in the water because I can't come out." She picked her tail up out of the water and waved it around. "Two legs isn't really going to get me anywhere," she giggled.
