Ace didn't usually do this, but he WAS the NSA brat, and so he could, and so today he did.
He'd gone through the files, and found someone that seemed really cool and decided to go pay her a visit. Virtually, of course. He tagged in the numbers to get in contact with her hologram set and to alert her that someone was trying to talk to her.
When Jasmine would arrive, the scene Ace picked was one of his favorites, because he'd forced his father to make it. A mountain scene where they would be sitting on a ledge of rock over looking a ravine.
"Hey there! I'm Ace! I just wanted to get to know some people. Got time to chat?" The teenager bounced where he was. When he'd snuck out, it had been at night, so he had on his grey pajamas. His bleach-ed blond hair with black and purple ends was mussed up everywhere, but he seemed wide awake, his grin a deamenor nothing but cheerful.

It had been a little late at night when Jasmine had finally settled down after she had finished her after-dinner chores of cleaning the dining room (which was basically hectic since she was cleaning up after almost fourteen people), and had settled herself comfortably on her bed in her own set of sleep clothes- completed with bright, fuzzy flamingo slippers since they were her favorite animal, but practically no one knew this outside her family since she was a little embarrassed by it. Her room was dimly lit and silent, what she had deemed the perfect setting to start up on reading the Dean Koontz book she had recently gotten for Christmas. But before she could get to the ending of the chapter she had started on, the hologram set began to respond to Ace’s call, and she rushed to answer after quickly grabbing her sketchbook and pencil from her desk.
When she arrived, her eyes sat dazed a couple of minutes at the room’s scenery- and felt a little more comfortable since she knew this wasn’t a normal, meeting setting. She then looked at the boy who had introduced himself as Ace, and gave him a nod of hello before getting closer to him so he could read her writing. “Hello, Ace!” The girl wrote, seeming even a bit more comforted at the boy’s cheerful voice. “I’m Jasmine. And sure, I can chat.”

"Alright!" Ace cheered, "I saw you at the Christmas party, but didn't get to talk. You're knew, aren't you? I've been around forever. Dad doesn't know I'm contacting you, and is probably gonna kill me for it, but they don't have to know that you know I shouldn't be running to say hi." He winked, "But I thought I'd warn you just in case. EVERYONE knows how stiff Dad and Uncle Charles are! So, hey, what kinda things do you like to do? I think a bunch of us should get together and do something fun sometime. You know, we ought to gt to be pals, so we know each other well enough in case we ever gotta work together and stuff. Better when we know each other, right? And... besides, I know it can be lonely. Someone said you just recently moved. I HATE that. It's a pain in the neck getting to know a bunch of new people! So I thought I'd offer. Do you like mountains?" He waved his hand around, "If not, I can change for ya, but there's really nothing else that interesting in the holograms."

Jasmine blinked as the boy began to speak again. She could comprehend everything he was saying, but he was talking a little faster than a lot of people around her did. As he finished talking, she began to write again. “Oh, I remember you! Nice to see you again! And I do believe that we should get to know the people we’re working with, although you shouldn’t stick your neck out for it. Have you tried talking to your dad or Mr. Charles about a random get-together, though? It seems like a good idea.”
As Ace started to talk about her moving, her eyes lowered. “Yeah, and I sometimes I miss my friends there… But we did the right thing, and my mom’s a lot happier here in New York!” Jasmine smiled as he asked about the mountains. “No, they’re fine. I don’t see much wilderness anymore and it’s very beautiful.”

"Awh, who cares? They'll get over it. They always do. We should plan a get together! When should it be? Maybe we could do it at the end of every month even? Just something to relax with." Ace loved the idea, and this was apparent in how his eyes shown about it, "Everyone's so funny, but I think we all could get along for the most part."
Ace looked around the mountains, "It's what I like too. I wish we didn't have to live in a crowded city. I'm SO moving away as soon as I turn 18! If I'm not a super by then, anyway. Hey, I bet you'll see your friends again. Just wait until you get to be super awesome and wonderful, then you'll get to do whatever you want!" Ace spread out his arms as he spoke.

Jasmine smiled as the boy spoke, glad hat there was at least one person that wasn’t always on edge. “Once a month does sound great, so there won’t be a couple of people that seemed to not like each other at the party that hate each other the entire time.” She was already thinking about how it could be pulled off without consent of the people that worked there.
Her mind was pulled towards remembering Jake, however, when Ace told her that she would see her friends again. Carrying a relaxed smile, she turned to her sketchbook again. “Thanks. An I bet I will, too!”

Ace jumped up and started to pace as he talked, "So, what sort of things could we do for gatherings? It'd be funny to watch them play a dare game, or something like cranium! Or...I dunno... Hmm, we could always get some of the training programs changed around to...Ooh! We could totally do a fun competition. A relaxed thing, with some more normal races and the like and some silly ones. Or, I dunno.. Hey, you wanna jump off the cliff?" Ace wandered to the edge of it, "We could totally do a dare type of competition in an environment like this." Ace picked up his remote control, pressed a button, and walked off the cliff onto what must have been stiff air, a reminder that they were indeed just in a hologram. He made a face at it, "Man, I wish we could convince them to really go somewhere though!"
He turned around, "So, whats your claim to fame gonna be?" He jumped back down to sit by her to read whatever it was she was writing.

“Dare?” The silent girl raised a brow at that, knowing that her mind was going straight in the gutter. She had good reasons to, though- since they were talking about teenagers. Angsty, hormone-filled, super-powered teenagers. She twitched at the thought.
Her mind reeled at the possibilities of activities they could do in a place that could be changed at the blink of an eye. “A race does sound fun, though. But I don’t think people really have the time to do that in real life every month.” Jasmine shrugged at her own writing. Although it would be fun to see the actual people in person, it was a lot simpler and easier to use the hologram system.
She flinched at the sight of Ace walking straight off of the cliff, her body seeming to tense as she felt it was actually real life. As he sat back down however, she relaxed again and focused on his question. “Well, I’m not sure what you mean by that… And I wouldn’t do that… What if it” She stopped, turning her paper to the side to slant the next word to emphasize it. “Glitches?”

It took Ace a few moments to compose himself again after reading her response to him. His whole frame shook with laughter, "Glitches are fun! And it's JUST a hologram. I mean, it can be made more realistic, but... Hehe... Man, there was this time where Candy and I were in one of the training fields after hours and it glitched so that we were stuck INSIDE. And the bad guys all turned to goo...everything gooed, like it was melting ice or something. The electronic ghost was really working then!" He started laughing again, "You aint's seen nothing until you've seen this scary monster suddenly turn pink and start running down!!"
He'd forgotten what they had been talking about now.

Jasmine grinned at Ace’s anecdote, giving out a small, inaudible laugh at the vision she made in her mind of the boy punching into a pink blob. “Must have been funny!” The girl looked around again, musing hopes that it wouldn’t glitch when they were in it, but still admiring the scenery. It finally dawned on her that Ace had given her hints that he had powers! She smiled, writing down something else. “So what are your powers?” The girl looked him over, noting his strange-colored hair before moving onto herself- when she noticed the flamingo slippers that she had neglected to take off. Blushing in embarrassment at the slippers, she moved her legs to sit Indian-style in order to take one’s eyes off of the bright footwear.

"It was the best!" Ace nodded enthusiastically at her first comment, then he grinned at her second, "I dunno, I don't really think I have powers, but everyone else says I do. Supposedly I enhance other abilities. Like I made Darebone so buff that she couldn't even walk." His grin managed to widen at the thought. Hah! He made a Super whine about needing to go to the gym! "But I don't even know it most the time. Yours had something to do with your voice? Like a banshee or something? That's really neat. It's too bad that it makes it hard to talk though. I'd HATE THAT!"
No, duh, really, blabbermouth?

”Sounds like a power to me, and it sounds cool.” Jasmine smiled at the boy as he started talking again. Seeming a little nervous as he started talking about her own power, she fidgeted with her sketchbook. “Yeah, both a banshee and a siren in voice.” She gave another silent laugh as she wrote, thinking of a response for his next words. “It doesn't really suck all that much, I didn't really talk before, either.” She smiled before showing Ace the paper.

"One of the quiet people. I'm always surrounded by quiet people!" Ace threw up his hands, "I'm CURSED like that, you know. Dad and Mom and Joy and Uncle Charles and my teachers, but not all my classmates. Even the guy that Mom's dating... Do you read a lot then? What do you like to do? You wouldn't like a competition time if we all got together, would you?" He tilted his head. How could he make it good for everyone?

The silent girl stared at Ace as he started to rant, slowly pulling away from him. “Well, I'm not all that quiet when they're people I know. Not many people approached me in Ireland, so I didn't talk much.” She smiled again as she showed him the paper, turning it back to herself as she started to write again. “Well, I like to read, but I can also be very competitive. I don't really do much physical activity, though.” Jasmine shrugged as she wrote the last part down at her indecisive personality, finally showing him the paper after she was finished.

"Well, no worries here... Hey, I wonder," Ace set his controller again, then tossed the metal bracelet he had off the side of the cliff, this time in spiraled down, "Sweet. I put it in training mode. If I stand BEHIND you, will your voice hurt if you yell and see what it does to the mountain?" He grinned at her, all mischievousness in his eyes.
