Oh my God. Trent Reznor is.. I can't describe it, how I "feel" about him. He's by far my favorite musician. Well, I for one love him to death. I think I've explained enough. I highly doubt anyone here likes his music.

Well, can anyone here get past "Closer"? Anybody have any thoughts? (Good or bad.)

I've never really listened to Nine Inch Nails before. Do you have any song suggestions?

Well, I will warn you that some of the lyrics in these songs can be "bad," but I'm sure it's nothing you haven't heard before. Anyways, some songs I suggest that should be easy to find would be (in no order):
1. Mr. Self Destruct
2. The Day the World Went Away
3. The Fragile
4. Piggy
5. Starf*ckers, Inc.
6. Hurt
7. The Hand That Feeds
8. Closer (you may want to ignore the lyrics, the music is nothing short of awesome.)
9. The Great Below
10. Right Where it Belongs

Oh, and a really beautiful quiet piece (along with a million others) would be "The Frail."

Before having a full opinion of NIN from just one song, you should listen to several songs. There really is a good deal of variety of emotions and sounds in their music. At the same time, I'm not going to force you to like the music.
I will warn you now: He is no Emilie Autumn. (Though they use some similar sounds as far as her more industrial-sounding stuff.)

Their song Hurt is beautiful. I like Johnny Cash's cover more, but my fiance loves Reznor's the best. We are using Perfect Drug and Closer at our wedding next summer. Yes... awkward.

Really...? I don't think I've ever seen or heard of anyone using such songs at a wedding before, ever. That's great. I hope you have a lovely, loud wedding.

I like their earlier stuff, but at the moment Year Zero is my favourite. Especially the last four songs and how they flow together, I love the chorus on In This Twilight. I've been listening to that album lot lately. It's a little different from the rest though, I suppose. Less industrial rock, more just straight electronic industrial.

Haha, really? That's ******** awesome, m'dear. I honestly wish there was a way I could have a marriage to an entire band's discography... *dreams*

I'm so pathetic.

I like them but I've never gotten around to purchasing anything. I really like "only." (I think that's what the song's called.)
