Dragon Training
This little event will run over the next month or so, we're hoping to get a few people interested in testing out this possible system before we decide to officially run it as a feature of the shop.
When you play here, you can keep any items you win. If the system is implemented any dragons that participated will receive a bonus for their stats, they may or may not receive a bonus equal to the stats earned during this period since it is a trial.

Dragon Stats
Dragons have five basic attributes, Strength, Defense, Speed, Intelligence, and Focus. These are used to complete a variety of dragon-specific missions. All dragons start with zero in each stat, and are awarded more by successfully performing missions.
Each mission will have a difficulty level. For example, a mission may have a difficulty of 6 Strength. To attempt a mission you must post which mission you want, which dragon is making the attempt, and their current level of the required stat. With that post you generate a random number between one and the difficulty level of the mission.
If your number plus the dragon's stats in that area are equal or greater than the difficulty level of the mission, your dragon would succeed.
Rules:
- You may only attempt each mission with one dragon.
- You can't redo missions even if you don't succeed, unless specified otherwise.
- You are not allowed to delete posts and try again. This will result in stat deductions if/when stats are implemented.
Example...
For the example in the next post, I will be responding to a mission titled "Fetching Flowers", which has a difficulty of 5 speed. I'll be using my dragon, Valeo to attempt the mission.

Valeo had a 0 for speed because he has never received any speed points, and he only rolled a two. He didn't succeed in this mission, but if he had three or more speed points before attempting the mission he would have succeeded with that roll. (If you have any questions, feel free to post in this thread. <3) Available MissionsThese are missions you guys can respond to. The format may be tweaked over the course of the trials. Missions Fetching Flowers (5 Speed) - A young girl on South Avenue was asked by her mother to pick some flowers for a dinner centerpiece, but she spent the afternoon playing instead. Now she needs some flowers in a hurry, and has a shiny coin she can offer.
Dangerous Scuffle (2 Strength) - Some wizard's big ugly dragon is hogging a nice sunning spot. It's snoring soundly, it might be possible to shove it aside somewhat.
Petty Thievery (7 Intelligence) - There is a merchant with a very pretty polished emerald on his counter. Surely a dragon could find a way to get past his watchful guard and grab the shiny object, but it would take some thinking.
Delivery! (3 Focus) - You have a somewhat important letter that needs to be delivered to a friend. They lost a bet and haven't yet paid you the two coins you won from them, surely your dragon can deliver the letter and hound them until they pay up. Missions (Round 2) Simple Retrieval (2 Defense) - Those thorn bushes outside the lecture hall window have always been problematic, and when daydreaming wizards do silly things like accidentally drop their pencils, it spells trouble for the poor dragon asked to retrieve the object...
Zoom Zoom (4 Speed) - Everyone knows the dragons most serious about their sunning are up at the crack of dawn to claim the best locations. If dragons don't move fast enough, their favorite spot may just be taken by another big, ugly dragon, and wouldn't it be a pain to have to push it out of the way.
Tracking 101 (3 Intelligence) - A small, landbound dragon has stolen your pouch of spell components, so you quickly send your dragon off to hunt it down and reclaim your property. Unfortunately the tracks got tangled up, it will take a bit of thought before your dragon can sort out which belongs to the culprit. Special Mission For this task your dragon would benefit from skills in more than one area. You will have to make two rolls, one for each of the required stats, and you should list your dragons points in both areas instead of one at a time.
eg. Valeo - 0 Def, 0 Str.
Simple Scuffle (2 Defense, 2 Strength) - Shiny objects untended by humans are fair game for dragons, but if more than one dragon happens up on the same object, the tougher dragon is usually the one to claim the prize.

Anyone can attempt all missions once, as long as you don't try each mission with more than one of your dragons. =3 Ithiltari XD This looks fun~ Delivery!Amare - 0 Focus Amare got a little distracted before the letter was delivered, but she found a shiny coin on the ground and brought it home with her.

Can I try another mission with Kindle? Or do I need another dragon to try a different mission?
Also, in your example rolling - doesn't Valeo need to roll a five to win, instead of a three? I think I'm understanding this so far....
