Sanctuary of the Ancients : Information

Hey everyone, welcome to the guild's primary roleplay! Final Fantasy : Sanctuary of the Ancients. It is a semi-lit roleplay with all members who applied and had a fair

role-playing record. Most if not all major information will be covered in this thread.

1. Sanctuary of the Ancients : Storyline

Prelude :

Four hundred years... seems like such a long time. Yet to the world.. it's so short. Perhaps even as short as a single night to us. Nightmares come and go, beings are given birth then die, and every time life pulls through one way or another.

How long is this going to last though? It has been a struggle of twilight
going for many millenniums. And nothing lives forever, not even planets....

2. Sanctuary of the Ancients : Background

In Sanctuary of the Ancients, more than 400 years have passed. Much of life has changed, There are a few different energy sources used now. Coal, Electricity, Water, a gas called Merin, and recently Merizon and Enersafe have jumped to the top of the charts. Both having found some form of an energy source that they both refuse to tell what it is. Because of this a lot of new advances in technology have occurred.

EnerSafe and Merizon are both companies who have virtually eliminated all forms of competition with breakthroughs that have been guarded with alarmingly high security. Because of these many new things constantly develop. But also smaller towns suffer as a result. So the trade offs of bettering lifestyles... is some towns are now beginning to die out. And when towns refuse to pay, both companies use their own tactics to get their money. EnerSafe uses a slightly more brutal but less cruel way, which is to scare it out of them. Meanwhile Merizon starves the people for energy by just shutting all sources of energy off until they get paid.

Also thanks to a disaster about 45 years ago, many ruins were collapsed in, and many archives were burned to the ground. The reason and how it was able to occur have been a mystery for quite some time now. And the only hint is a small seal that was left behind that was reminiscent of a trinity.

3. Sanctuary of the Ancients : World Map

Descriptions of each Town/City/Outpost :

Thoriar:
This continent is the continent holding the Midgar Ruins along with multiple small cities and towns.

Midgar Ruins - For almost 300 years now (maybe even a little longer...) Midgar has been abandoned. Since the need for mako disappeared and since a few large monster attacks.. the cities fallen into ruins.. all but one plate have collapsed. And its all over-growth now. There may be a little treasure.. but with the treasure are plenty of all-to-strong experiments escaped from what once upon a time was the Shin-Ra building.

Myst - A small island town that had a few small families. No one knows why.. but it disappeared off the face of the world about seven years ago. Some say that it never existed.. others say that it just was wiped off the map and decimated.

Edge - This is a small poor city located not to far from Kalm. It is better off than your usual poor city. However its known for having multiple gangs just trying to make it. Most of them don't ever get very big. The largest one was about 50 members large. However the ranks in power constantly change there.

Kalm - The small city of Kalm hasn't changed too dramatically. It has however become nicer looking over time. The cobblestone road has been replaced with a finely tiled road, everything is freshly painted, and it just has a very cozy feel to it.

Asgard - A medium-sized city that is on the mountains overlooking Midgar. Since Midgar was abandoned about 200 years before, Asgard was founded. It is probably the most prosperous of all the cities. And the requirements for living there can get quiet pricy. Also they have an alarmingly good security force for the whole city known as the Draconian Templar.

Bill's Ranch - The lineage of the chocobo farmers has had a long history with their ranch. Only recently it was completely redone. It still has a fairly earthy feel, however the house has been replaced with an Inn now. And its a fairly nice one at that.


Juriar:
The continent of the militant is its nickname. It is the location of Junon, and a few other small places. Most of the cities and towns are undesirable to live in however.

Dyne - This is a small city a little bit of a ways away from Junon. It is known for having a very delicious cuisine that you cannot find anywhere else. Its all thanks to a special berry that grows only in Dyne. So its become a very popular resting spot. Because it isn't to large, not to close to any large cities, and in general it just a great place to visit.

Phoenicia - The former Fort Condor in the last 50 years has been re-inhabited. Now housing a large group of people from Ivory de Sol. It is now called Phoenicia, after the guardian phoenix living at the top of the tower. It has also extended far underground. In essence its like a small city that lives in an extremely large tower-basement.

Junon - God only knows how many times this place has been knocked down and brought back up. At this point it is the location of EnerSafe's main base. Junon has managed to salvage itself for the most part. The poor section has gotten much cleaner, while the "rich" sections began to fall in disrepair.


Anciar:
Most of ancient history originates from this continent. It is the location of Cosmo Canyon.. and many secrets that are hidden from virtually everyone. Anytime secrets are discovered.. they are usually kept a secret. Either through death.. or residence in Cosmo Canyon.

Cosmo Canyon - This tribe of humans has stayed here since records were available. They are very famous for their influential leaders and powerful attunement to the earth. So as a result when things are going wrong with the world.. they are the first to know. Once a year.. a small group of explorers always visit here. And every year they never fail to return. However no one is ever quite sure why.

Divalace - This is a small town that was in ancient times known as Gongaga. It seems all to much like it hasn't changed the slightest. Except the graveyard has become much larger, and the ruined Mako Reactor is finally being raided in groups at a time for treasure. Though its about a 50/50% chance of finding anything.. and also a 50/50% chance of surviving... so many corpses also pile up as a result. Earning the city the ancient name "Divalace" or Blood Stone.


Masicar:
This continent is a large continent with Coasta Del Sol, Nibelheim, and a few other larger towns. This continent is mostly a mystery. Any history behind it... always seems to become forgotten.

Nibelheim - Well.. its Nibelheim. The small town that was rebuilt after being massacred in ancient times. Of course almost all history of this place seems to be lost every time. But its a quiet little town.. with almost an eerie serenity about it. So unless the family originally lived there.. most people do not stay long. Especially since its usually just used as a major crossing point.

Kirin - This is a small quaint area on the opposite side of the Nibelheim mountains. The small town was created as a guide town and resting point for anyone traversing the dangerous Nibelheim mountains. So as a result most of the inhabitants are fair fighters.. and very good escapists.

Ivory Del Sol - Coasta Del Sol and Ivory De Sol are not far disconnected. The reason Ivory Del Sol came into existance was because not far from Coasta Del Sol, a large amount of Ivory-producing animals were discovered. And it was possible to harvest the Ivory from them without killing them. (These animals are known as Ruthals, Though Ivory Producing and non-lethal to harvest ivory from.. they are still extremely dangerous if aroused. They look similar to a large mantis. Their spines and "scythes" are both made of Ivory. And theres every once in a while a very rare gem that will have developed in the center of their chest.)

Coasta Del Sol - Everyone knows this as a large port.. and a popular beach. It is one of the largest resort towns in the world. And has a very prosperous trade history. So as a result its a quite active city that many enjoy to visit at least once in their life.

The Golden Chocobo - The golden saucer after so many years had taken a new name on. The Golden Chocobo. Reason being is that Chocobo had gotten so very popular. Chocobo racing still is very popular.. however the new sport of Rayen is currently over-taking the popularity charts. And it is held in the skies. And just to add on to effect often fireworks are set off during the matches.

Corel - This once-prosperous mining town is known for its coal and its energy reserves. It is mostly a working town however.. not many children.. and its not exactly the healthiest area either thanks to all the strip mining done here.

Ruins of Rin - The ruins of Rin are of a small abandoned town with an unusual metal pad with a small room attached to it. No one remembers why the town was originally there. Only that it was abandoned 500 years ago.


Ruiar:
Once upon a time this was home to Wutai. Now it is home to a hollow shell known as the Wutai ruins. There is not much in the way of civilization here any longer. With the exception of Hirami.

Hirami - This is in essence the new Wutai. Wutai about 10 years ago died out in population due to a combination of plague and a quite large monster basically mowing it down.

Kisaragi Shrine - This is a small shrine of monks that is located near the ruins of Wutai. Every single one of the inhabitants is blind, but they are known for being phenomenal healers... and warriors. Any time they have been under attack.. the attackers were brutally shut down. And any allies who were struck down in what seemed to be a fatal fashion.. would be brought back from inches of death.

Wutai Ruins - The town of Wutai about 40 years ago Wutai was destroyed. A large monster had attacked not long after a plague had struck the town. No one knows why the town was attacked.. nor why such a horrible plague struck Wutai and didn't traverse to any other location.

Teniar:
The last of the true continents.. Teniar is the home to a few winter towns. But nothing much beyond that.

Dalton - This small town of ice and snow was built far up into the northern mountains. Usually most of the people who come here.. its just for materials which it is surprisingly rich in. Or for an escape from society. Hermits and the like who stay together just out of necessity. Its not necessarily a nice place... but it is tranquil.

Tal - The forgotten capitol as it used to be called. It is known for its oddly glowing white trees and luminescent blue water. The only facts that have been gathered is a small crude map.. and that it used to be the capitol for an ancient race. But beyond that most of it still remains a mystery.

Izul - This is the small village that was once upon a time called "Bone Village". Indeed bones seem to be more than common and a foundation here. It is mostly a crafting town at this point. Having become renown recently for a few extremely good craftsmen who are said to have made legendary pieces of work. Though getting to see them is a completely different story. Its near impossible to actually meet the crafters unless they want to see you. And no one is quite sure where they are when not in town.


Islands:
There are multiple islands, large and small. Here are the ones with any form of life on them.

Rinea - Rinea is a small camp that formed where Mideel once upon a time was located. Its actually become a small hotspring thats become quite famous as a getaway. The reason why is the hotsprings over time developed healing properties. Since about 300 years ago the Lifestream wound healed and faded.

Rinen - This is a small camp on an island not far from Rinea. Often its just used as a gaming spot. Since there is much in the way of hunting to be done on this island. Many creatures varying from weak, to alarmingly strong. So most of the people here are just here for the hunting.

Crater of the Damned - A large crater that is AVOIDED as much as possible. The monsters in this area are known for being obscenely strong and dangerous. Even the strongest of wanderers refuse to go anywhere near it. Nothing short of a strike force could survive there.

Senla - A small island-bound town that is located directly east from the continent of Thoriar. (Thoriar is the continent holding Midgar.) It is mostly an herb town. Meaning it gets by through growing and selling herbs. Which do phenomenally well thanks to the very pleasant weather. Surprisingly its not to rainy.. but not to dry either. Just right for growing most forms of herbs and spices.

Dead Hallow - This is an EXTREMELY large crater.. that seems to have only malevolent life and is virtually impossible to safely board this island. Once your on it... theres no escaping.

4. Sanctuary of the Ancients : NPC Locations

Matt Blackheart
Matt Blackheart is one of the leading members in the Regulations Enforcement department, and is number V of EnerSafe's Black XIII. He is possibly one of the strongest members of EnerSafe. And has only come close to losing once. And that was to Jubei.
Currently Located in Junon.

Namichi Isou
Namichi Isou is the mother of Kunta and Shin Isou. Since the passing of her son Kunta and the death of her husband, she has lived with her daughter in Kalm. She also was the one who helped train both her children, and Chris who she took in when he lost his home.
Currently Located in Kalm.

Hiorla Quinta
Hiorla is part of the trio involved in hunting down rogue enforcers. For the most part she deals with the technological part of each capture. Using everything from a simple capture net, to a Trauer to bind their target.
She joined EnerSafe to ensure that energy would always be cheap for her and her family, and because compared to what Merizon did to her family. EnerSafe was tons better.
Currently Located Outside of Junon.

Rain Serin
Possible the most mysterious of the Downfall Trio. He is usually the person to set the tactics and is the least involved in fighting. But that doesn't mean he doesn't excel at it either. If anything he is the most dangerous because of it.
Also Rain is acknowledged as number VII in the Black Thirteen. Rumor holds it that he is the fourth most powerful in the thirteen.
About his personal life however not much is known. He usually keeps to himself and his goals are not truly known. The only thing known for fact is that he is Matt Blackheart's younger brother. And that he was adopted away when they were young.
Also recently discovered by Leon Selreans and Dahn Hibiki, that he has a pact with the summoned god of Gravity, Diablos.
Currently Located outside of Junon.

Tal Freyir
Possibly the most terrifying of the Trio. He has the strength and toughness of two enforcers combined. He is one of the very few elite Enforcers (known as the Dragoons.) The reason he is so terrifying however is that when he is calm.. he is still a psychotic fighter with no regard to personal damage. And when he lets his blood-lust get to him.. he goes into a beserker rage. And not to mention his mana flies out the roof.
Tal was born and raised by the scientists at EnerSafe. And actually became their biological play-toy for improving how to improve the training program for Enforcers. And as a result he is phenomenally violent, hard to control, and exceptionally psychotic. The only three people he listens to is Rain (who was his friend the whole time), Hiorla (who accepted him), and Matt (who trained him.)
However a new development has come to being. His original black hair has been replaced with orange hair and his blue eyes... now silver, and the arm which was removed... is now back. As to what has happened is still unknown. Also he has the number XII tattooed on the back of his neck. Meaning that Chaz Yeluri has been killed.

Raith Kiran
Raith Kiran is the leader of the Black XIII, and the current owner of EnerSafe. He is possibly the second most deadly in the XIII. The only one more powerful would probably be Shadow Strafe. Raith is identified by his orange hair and his silver eyes. Nothing beyond this is known about him.

Winter Holice
Winter Holice is the Eighth of the XIII. Also she is the leader of the Research and Development branch of EnerSafe. Not much is known about her personal research, nor the top-secret research. But rumor has it that Raith was actually one of the subjects of her tests.

Nyrra Collins
She's Vermillion's younger sister who he thought was dead,
Seventeen years old with dark brown hair and silver eyes like her brother.
She has no combative training, and has lived in Dyne for the last seven years with her foster-parents after they moved there from Asgard two years after the incident that killed her and Leon's parents.

Training:
Has been taught how to use dual-scimitars by his grandfather since the day he turned thirteen. He is also a very good cook due to many years of being alone in the wilderness. Also he has become fairly familiar with herbs and using them to season foods.

Goals:
To get revenge against EnerSafe for the death of his girlfriend.

History:
Bane had lived a fairly normal life in a small secluded house not to far from Dyne where his entire family lived. That changed however when he had come to the age of twelve, the age when men is his family where belived to fully mature, his grand father had begun teaching him to fight using scimitars, the weapon used by his family for hundreds of years. He slowly began learning of how EnerSafe and Merizon where evil and corrupt and when he turned seventeen he wanted to join his father and grandfather in the secret rebellion group they had fromed called 'Yama Fukei' or 'Mountain Guardians'. He and the rebellion group had done much but had lost many men, including Bane's father and grandfather, and on Banes twentieth birthday, and his third year anniversary with his girlfriend and the love of his life, Rain, he would have to pay the ultimate price. He and Rain had been in a spot by the nearby forest where they usually met where she had given him a ring which he now wears on his left ring finger. An assassin from EnerSafe had been laying in wait for them and had attempted to kill Bane, and as the assassin prepared to strike his with one last blow

Rain had tried to save Bane but died in the process. In a fit of rage Bane had killed the assassin, now he travels alone so that no one else that he holds dear will be attacked, always trying to get revenge on EnerSafe.

Description:
Bane has midnight black hair, that falls to about his mid-back, it is very mess and more than one random strands can be seen falling in front of his face, his eyes too are this shade of black. Bane's outfit usually consists of a pair of baggy cargo pants usually dark in color, sometimes with a chain hanging from the side, he usually wears long sleve shirts with a sweatshirt pulled over it, either can be a wide variety of colors. He always wears two rings on his left ring-finger both have great value to

Bane. The first is from his mother, it was given to him on his thirteenth birthday, the time when he began training with the scimitars. The second ring was given to him by his now late girlfriend, Rain, had given to him on their third year anniversary and Banes twentieth birthday. Lastly Bane has a black 'x' tattooed near the knuckle on his right middle finger, which represents his pledge for revenge against EnerSafe.

Thin Air - Bane slashes his scimitars in an x so quickly that it causes a small vacuum that repeatedly slashes at the enemy.

- Ancient Scimitars: They whre handed down from generation to generation by his ancestors from long ago, they are said to have some ancient magic within them which makes it so they never dull, rust, or break.

Great Sword Training and a traditional martial arts style passed down along his family lineage.

Goals:
To become as strong as he can, so he can find and destroy the ones who attacked his home.

History:
Born in Hirami and trained in the ninja arts to protect his home, Musa became impatient always watching over Hirami and missing out on life so much so that he finally decided to leave abandoning his responsibility.

As fate would have a day after he left Hirami was attacked by a small group of men with powerful materia whose goal was to steal any and all materia the people owned. Musa had seen large clouds of smoke coming from the direction of Hirami from where he was and rushed back to find many buildings in his home district burned to the ground or blown to pieces. The guards had managed to drive out the invaders by shear force of numbers but not before this tragedy had occurred. He considers this his fault and wants to make it right by hunting down the group and destroying them or else he would be too ashamed to ever return to Hirami.

Description:
Musa is 5"9 and weighs 180 pounds, has blond messy hair, his eyes are blue and have a look of understanding, he wears a black shirt that says "Long Life" in dark red, black pants and shoes. Musa's normal attitude is free spirited, but takes situations more seriously than he lets on.

Six Point Dance - Six copies of his great sword surround the opponent and plunge into the ground. From there he pushes off of them attacking his opponent at high speed like a pinball.
(Its equalizer is the lack of accuracy in doing so, but chance for multiple hits.)

Cannon Attack- Musa sends out an invisible blast of energy at the target.

Close Combat Training and Subconscious MBarrier - As a result of Rajossi's time in the life stream, when he is in critical conditions or extremely battered up; a natural barrier against magic comes into existence. (Not nearly as strong as the materia.)

Ancient Text Translation, Ancient Languages, and digital interfacing.


Goals:
Rajossi's goal is to find the answers about his family's death, the cause of the "mining explosion", and to regain full control of his body.

Kormea's goal is to completely take over the host's body, acquire as much materia as possible by any means possible.

History:
Rajossi grew up in Junon for most of childhood (0-15 years old)This was uneventful from his own perspective, his father got promoted and the moved to Cosmo Canyon after his father was promoted to work related to the mines in the Cosmo Canyon (supposedly rich in coal).

After they moved to Cosmo Canyon he was enrolled by Merzion to search for new coal sources for his extensive knowledge and research abilities of the area (at 16).

This was never what he had wanted as his career but he took it to support his family financially.

Following a mining explosion a year previous, in which all of his close family where killed (brothers and Father, mother was never know, he is not sure or not whether she is alive. And he has no aunts uncles or grandparents he is aware of).

His father was the head of the digging operation in the Cosmo coal mines, his brothers where both miners working under his father (he being the more academic less sporty of the 3 ended up with the office research job).

He quit the company, unable to continue working due to the grief he felt for their deaths.

After the explosion rather than end up in an orphanage, he decided to wok discreetly in odd jobs until he hit 18 and would be legally allowed to freely roam the continents as a "legal adult".

Since the explosion he survived he swore to find the cause of the explosion (which it just may develop later in the story was not a mining explosion but something rather more sinister).

Also since the explosion he has constantly struggled with an odd split side of his personality that can manifest itself and take control of their shared consciousness and body.

Description:
Slightly under average height at 1 meter 63, a slim build, a weight of 56 kg, jet black hair, short and spiky at the rear, a long fringe covering eyes if not swept to the side, bright blue eyes with the hint of a haunted soul behind. Wears usually clingy black clothing, anything discreet that draws attention away. Wears ring of silver inherit off father during time he worked in the mine. Lastly He has an ear and lip piercing.

Alignments:
Good, Rajossi has majority of body control. Though Kormea WILL go about doing things for "the goodies" in a FAR less than saintly (or peaceful) way.

Limit Break Requested:
Fused soul: The two "personalities" are briefly conscious at the same time, giving Rajossi control of the body but Kormea exceptional speed and strength for a brief but fierce burst, however at the cost of loss of control of body to Kormea after limit is used.

Blood-lust: Savage, brutal attack without relent, dealing heavy physical damage at high speed in a chain, however as with above loss of control of body "to other side"

after use, also physically exhausts character.

- Katar
A gauntlet of sort that can retract two long slightly curved blades, made of exceedingly hard and light-weight metal for rapid parrying of sword attacks.

- Deux (summon materia, summons a hawk named Deux to swoop at the enemies doing a small portion of damage and distracts the enemy for a split second.)

Good. He cares little for others, but still has a strong moral compass.

- Attacks with the gun at a range to stun the foe, then close for a melee attack.

Starting Weapon:
- Bolt-action rifle w/ scope. Rifle holds 5 bullets and 2 linked materia slots in stock. He possesses 5 clips. He assembled the weapon himself from scrap wood and metal. Despite its shoddy looks, it aims straight, and works well for him.

Goals:
To do better and push forward in everything he does. Including anything from School to Magic.

History:
A poor boy from the continent of Ruiar, he in a small home on the northern island. When he was younger he left home after an accident in where he killed his step-father when the man was attacking his mother. Having spilled blood on his hands, he could not bear to face his mother when she awoke and ran from the house after getting all the money, clothes, and materia he could.

He did not make it very far, at the time being very unfit and lacking any real training in defense. He would have died had it not been for a man that he would soon look up to as dearly as his own father. Willie soon brought him back with him to Hirami, where he made friends with many of his friends and family, and soon enough, his new step-mothers.

Lily and Lee Qua adopted him about a year after he came to Ruiar, and during that time taught him how to master materia. History:
Chris was born in Myst, a small village on an island just outside of Edge. He was a bit.. out of place.. as a child because he was more intelligent than most of the children, and had many of the traits of someone from the Coasta Del Sol area. So as a result he had only a few friends.

The most important were his close friends Shin, and Zane (his younger brother.) But as time went on however.. things started to change in Myst. The village began to decrease in population.. his brother went missing, and one day while he was visiting Edge, Myst went missing. As impossible as it may seem. But the whole village was gone. Leaving him to be an orphan in Edge.

This tolled heavy on him as he started his new life in Edge, but he managed. He covered his own costs for a small place to stay. And he managed to become one of Shin's "gang members". Though somehow he always stayed out of trouble. Life was pretty good again for him for years. He would train intensely with Shin and her brother, and then work on all sorts of odd jobs around the town. (Often as an errand boy or some jack of all trades.)

This peace lasted for him until he was about 20. Chris left on a trip to find what happened to his brother. He let Shin know of it before he left. And he had no lovers to worry about. So his trip went un-hindered. Originally the trip was only supposed to be a few months. But as time went on.. from being a week late.. to months late. And nobody ever knew what happened to him.

What had happened was Chris was almost home.. still a month late.. but on his way home. And he was ambushed and drugged. Only a mile out of Edge at that. A few of the village boys did see what happened and spread rumors around the town about a teenager about 20 being assaulted and kidnapped. Though no one identified him by name because of the changes in his hair and the deep tan he had. It was enough possibly to spark a flicker of curiosity but no more than that.

After that... a whole year of Chris' life was lost. After that day he couldn't remember anything that happened to him. Chris had escaped his capturers after some freak accident happened killing everyone but him. And not a drop of blood spilled on his account. Someone.. or thing.. murdered all of them. Somehow missing him amazingly. The only thing he saw and knew were tortured screams of agony and brilliant emerald light carrying immense destructive power behind it. Powerful enough to make the air itself scream.

And leaving this war-torn area he managed to make it to Kalm on luck alone. The only thing he arrived in was a jacket, a torn pair of jeans, and some camo boots. Not the loveliest thing. Strangely enough though the necklace he had was able to be sold for quite a bit of money to an odd vendor. Though the vendor wouldn't say why it was so precious. None-the-less he needed clothes and shelter and the amount he recieved would be enough to do just that.

It didn't take long for whispers about him to make it around the small city. People whispered small details about this ragged looking teenager who just recently arrived.

And his uncertainty of where exactly he was and the whole last year that had been missing.

And this brings him to his journeys beginning...

Description:
Chris has black hair with silver streaking, black eyes, a tattoo of a dragon embracing the word tranquility on his left arm, and a symbol reminiscent to the character Omega on the nape of his neck.
He has a medium body structure that is very finely sculpted with muscle. (The muscles almost perfectly developed without being to bulky or lanky.) And he has a nice tan going in his favor. (Which his body was originally that of your average thin teenager.)

When it comes to clothing Chris always has a small hoop earing on his left ear. Usually varying between Silver, Black, or a metallic ocean blue.
His shirts tend to be muscle styles that are black, blue, white, red, or green. Often with an accessory of 2 bands around both of his biceps.
Then when it comes to pants he has a few styles. One are his basic black or dark blue cargo jeans. Another are his strapped black jeans which have two belts at the waist, then 1 chain at both legs.
And lastly his combat pants. Which are a bit unusual, as they have a leather and mithril belt holding them on, 2 straps at both sides on his waist, one belt strapped midway down his left leg to keep the bagginess down, the second leg has a zipper on it so it can be taken off to make shorts if needed. Theres also a strap going from both sides of his waist and hanging behind him just about halfway down the upper part of his leg.

Lastly comes his boots and his gloves.
He only has 1 pair of black mithril-toed boots that he wears at the moment. And then few pairs of gloves which are Black-Red Black-Blue Black-Green and Black-White

Limit Break Requested:
*Chris' Eye Color Changes to a brilliant silver during his limit breaks.

Crushing Wind - This limit break is Judo-Based which means its hand to hand. Unlike most limits it is a counter-attack. Catching the opponent's arms and forcing them to start to trip and then immediately bringing his knee up into their gut and then bringing down the heel of his boot crashing downwards in a crescent kick. This causes fair amounts of damage to any low-armored targets and if its a living being it will wind the target for one turn.

Dragon's Fang - This limit break starts after resheathing his sword. And immediately after very quickly and violently drawing his largest sword out while letting it come out of the scabbard scraping against the smaller/lighter sword giving off sparks as it slices its target. The trick behind this strike is that the method of drawing makes it vibrate making it undesirable to block. Reason being that if this attack is blocked, then it will cause a temporary paralysis in the target's hands due to the vibrations transfering to the target's weapon(s). Often its said that the draw sounds much like death itself.

- Gin & Vision : This is a short sword + b*****d sword combination. Originally both of them were custom forged for Chris' father. And with Chris' fortune he developed almost the exact body structure of his father.

Gin is a b*****d sword with dual-blade catchers on both sides. It has a celtic style blade and hilt, and inscripted on the blade are the words "Mei Duro Redemptio" (My Last Redemption)

Then there is Vision which is a mithril armored short sword. It has a black base with beautiful shades of red and silver on its design. It is mildly reminiscent of looking at a dragon.

History:
Clouse was raised in what was left of Midgar. Most of his life was good and calm till four years ago, it had been like any other day as he walked home, but upon his arrival he found his parents, brother, and girl friend dead. The locals of the area said that EnerSafe troops came and killed them during a strange sweep of the area.

Clouse was deeply hurt and confused, and over that year the pain and confusion became hate, rage, and wrath towards EnerSafe. His father had taught him much about guns, and where a small stash of Materia and Gil was, this would be his power to take revenge. He left Midgar, he would do what ever it took to have his revenge.

As time passed he calmed down a little, realizing one man alone could never hope to do what he wished, but at the same time he could never feel at home in Midgar ever again, not till his subconscious desire of revenge was filled at least.

Description:
5'10 with neck long messy dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and a semi-slender face that's nice to the eyes. Well toned but at about 230 pounds, he normally wears all black with a long cloak[no hood] that's held in place by straps on the shoulders and a bowlow with a large silver fling bird pendent. His shirt is normally covered up by his cloak except for when he has a collar or lets the lower halve of his shirt show, the cloak's collar is firm with a white trim. His shirt is normally long sleeved and zips up until it's collar where three small buttons cover the zipper. His shirt is tucked into his pants witch are normally a simple, but form fitting pair of dark black jeans. His shoes are always jet black and look formal, but are just tennis shoes at a closer inspection, his socks are always long and black as well. To top it all off he wears tight white glove that improve his grip when shooting most of the time. He also wears a belt with a gun and knife holster, that wrap around his waist and and one shoulder with the knife holster resting in the middle of his chest on the shoulder strap. The belt's pendent has a small removable compass embedded in it. Besides these, he doesn't wear much else unless forced to do to occasion or a need of change.

[[Basically, if someones hurt, it'll let some one else share the pain/wound/etc to bring ease upon the wounded. Clear enough?]]

History:
Born in the outer city, Edge, Shin grew up a street kid with an elder brother, Kunta. The city was play ground to their acrobatic need and they feared nothing from jumping deadly heights to dodging and flipping from moving cars. Her parents made sure that they were not with out skill to defend themselves though. Her mother was loving and taught them much of their hand to hand combat skills since Shin was 10, and later in her years at 13 decided it was time for them to learn another art to which her bloodline specialized in. They were taught ancient traditions and many other things. Both Shin and her brother constantly fought each other, coming up with new things to catch the other off guard, adjusting to what they had to. their mother was blessed with children of brilliance in the arts. Kunta was becoming so accurate in his aim and so quick, they called him Dart. Shin, who wasn't so bad with the bow herself, had a knack for perfection in technique and innovation; she liked combined her use in the bow and impeccable hand to hand combat skills, causing most kids to be wary of falling into her grasp. Some of those fluent in Wutainese poked fun with her name and her unique skill naming her, D or D girl- D being death. They weren't complete in their arts... but they were indeed promising.

Together they became a leading force in their own gang of teenage misfits. Kunta was known to be stern and sure- the fist of the gang, Shin known to be determined yet understanding- the open hand. They were a force to be reckoned with by other kids. In the beginning they were a small elite group, consisting of a few trusted friends. A boy named, Chris, in particular had gotten in with ease. Shin couldn't figure out herself: he didn't seem like a city boy, his air was bit more intricate than the loud, rough housing usuals. Shin and Kunta took to him immediately though, maybe because of those and some other traits. When they got to know him more, he became nearly family. Even their mother would insist he train with them and they didn't reject the idea. They were usually picky with their members and as soon as they begun to grow beyond a branch of 10, others heard of them and many kids tried to join. Though it did stay considerably smaller than surrounding groups, they were the power house of Eastern Edge.

Her father taught them few things himself: how the city worked, bits on law and legends, best of all though- how to 'talk the talk.' Despite that, he was far from what one would call a family man; he was a drunkard and later grew to be abusive. They used him for resistance training, and later for dodge and indiscreet block training. But as the years progressed they saw his detriment to the family, their hate for him, and worse their precious mothers life being sucked out by his madness. Shin sympathized for the man, though she couldn't stand the very sight of him anymore. She did it to express what little love she had left for that who was once her father.

Her brother though could not forgive him. He hated him and his hate led to something else.

At 18, Shin had walked in on her mother her stare cold and yet distressed. She looked to the direction her mother stared at and before them was Kunta and a bloody man, her father. No.. That was against our rules!.. Suddenly, tradition rushed back to her and she grew pale and dropped to her knees hearing the grunt of her brother and the sound of punctured flesh. Her head shook, her body trembled, and the warmth of her mother's clutch gave little comfort that day.

The following months Shin grieved over her lost loved ones, mostly for other half, the beloved Dart Kunta. She left the old gang that had grown out of their mischievous ways and bloomed to close friendships. Both her and her mother moved to the near by city, Kalm. Shin had become engulfed in the bow and trained hard to become as accurate and as sure as Kunta was. She worked even harder to better her skills and techniques in her own field. Though with out her constant competition, her progression had reduced immensely. Her mother kept up her teachings but the lessons were now for maintenance rather than growth. It was later

Shin found her mother had decided to leave her last child to expand on her own and draw strength from her dark experiences.

Description:
Shin's hair is for the most part, short and wild, but was always kept its natural color, black. Her eyes are grey stormy and in the right light, they had a silvery glisten to them. She's slightly tanned and well toned. Though they are plain, she does have various tribal tattoos on her body. Her style is unique. She prefers sleeveless, tight fitting tops and either comfortable shorts or moderately loose pants coupled with a belt to hold them up with. As for shoes, she's okay with either sneakers or boots, though she'd prefer a set of comfortable boots herself. Never is she with out a set of gloves and her silver necklace, depicting what's said to be the sign of the Great Leviathan. Most of the time she will be seen with a head band tied on, usually when she's out doing laborious work or training.

During an attack Shin knock opponent into the air and jump up to execute a combination forcing him back down to the ground. As she flips back down, she fires a single lethal (materia enhanced) shot at the enemy.

Path of the Damned-
Shin will choose the strongest near by enemy and jump up, sometimes using the opponents body for additional momentum, to kick up and knock the enemy in the neck/ chin/nose causing her to flip back, she'll then charge forward and slam a knee into his chest, once the enemy hurls forward Shin will take bow and ring it around their neck while jumping over behind them and hurling him into a near by enemy or group of enemies. She'll then fire a devastating blow back shot, before lighting the up with 5 coupled flamed arrows aimed at the enemy or group.
**Will only be used in dire times and when she feels engulfed in distress.

History:
Zane Silverwind was born in the small town of Myst. It was a nice little place that had a river run straight through it. And it wasn't to far away from Edge.

He had a brother named Chris, and they both were a little out of place. Because they both had the looks and traits of someone from Coasta Del Sol. (Only not so dark...) And sometimes being a child was hard. He only had his brother, and a few small friends. But not much other than that.

At about 9 years old Zane was kidnapped during a visit to his hiding spot. (The hiding spot being a crevice under one of the bridges.) It happened quite quickly with a needle drugging that knocked him unconscious.

When Zane did come to he was strapped down with iron-weave. And there were quite a few needles sticking into him each one doing a different job. The only accompaniment he had was the speaker box that pissed him off every second the person spoke. Talking of revolutionizing, destruction, and jihads. Shortly before performing a phenomenally painful genetic alteration.

By the time this was done, Zane's body had aged an extra 2 years, and his body would enter a trance of a sort if he got too pissed off or any strong negative feelings.

All of this in but a few months. And then he was knocked out once more and released into the world again. However this time he was all the way near Rocket Town.

His body had been tampered with so much that he wasn't sure what was and wasn't still normal. Nothing looked deformed on him at all.. if anything the exact opposite.

And for the last few years, he had been recovering in Rocket Town. And always avoiding any possibility of conflict. At least until this steadilly stabilizing life comes to a crashing halt with reality....

This being... the destruction of Rocket Town by Sapphire WEAPON.

Description:
Zane boasts of a medium-muscular build of a body, that holds a nice tan hue. His hair is a deep Auburn Red, and his eyes share the same as his brothers identical black. Also he has a single tattoo on the back of his neck with a symbol reminiscent to a Katar with two swords behind it. Almost like a crest of some sort.

When it comes to clothing, he has two earings in his left ear. One in the ear lobe, and one in the cartilidge. Most of the time he is either wearing silver or black earings.

His shirt style tends to be custom shirts that are partially sleeveless or are muscle-style. And oftimes he is wearing a jacket over that.

Then when it comes to his pants he generally wears a pair of very slightly baggy pants that have one long leg, and then the other is shorts. The outside is made of an armor-weave while the inside is lined with silk-like material.

He also tends to wear a pair of silent-step shoes or combat boots. And he shares his brother's fondness for a good pair of gloves. The major difference however is the style. They are reminiscent of combat gloves without the finger tips, but also have armored plates on the palm and wrist of the gloves.

Induce Beserking - Releasing Zane's surge of emotion he enters a beserking trance that he will in the most violent way possible attack the victim. This effect lasts for a few rounds. And his attacks are doubled, and ability to take a beating are tripled.

Breakdown - Zane charges straight at the opponent in a psychotic manner.. and immediately seems to dissapear, and appears directly above the target. Using gravity and the force of him going psychotic he slams them head-first into the ground. This has a chance of knocking out the target. However it drains all of his Adrenaline hes built up.

- Twin Viper - Unlike the FF7 version of Twin Viper, this one is a set of twin katars. One with a serrated blade, the other with a lighter alloyed blade. They both were tokens from Rocket Town that Zane recieved after being there about two years. His brother's pendant is engraved into the hilt of the serrated katar. Often they are said to be mildly reminiscent of Death's Scythe.

History:
Details of Jubei's childhood are sketchy at best, he was orphaned at the age of 6 when his parents were murdered by a ruthless street gang and he was left to wander the unforgiving streets of Junon, eventually he was taken in by the house of Fuma, a notorious crime syndicate. During his time here he did many horrific things that no child should ever even hear of, when he turned 12 he escaped this life by creating fake documents (to say that he was 15) and joining the Ennersafe enforcers.

A gifted soldier and talented leader Jubei seemed destined for great things as an Enforcer in the Ennersafe corporation. However he desired more, he volunteered for a project Known as the Soldier genesis program. The projects aim was to create enforcers with fighting strength exceeding that of the legendary unit SOLDIER, the project was an utter failure every single test subject died.... except for one, why Jubei was the only one to survive would remain a mystery as the project was shut down and deemed , with the exception of Jubei "a phenomenal waste of resources". Jubei's proficiency for combat was raised beyond all expectations but his superiors began to worry about his sanity they saw an increasing rise in his tenacity and aggression towards the enemy on the battlefield, his senseless slaughter often went above and beyond the call of duty and more often than not he would disregard orders in order to pursue enemy's he deemed "worthy of his skill" eventually the incidents escalated to the point where a test of strength against his fellow soldiers ended in their untimely deaths. Unable to overlook this incident and unwilling to execute such a "useful weapon" they officially discharged him but unofficially funded him in setting up a private mercenary outfit. In this new outfit he could freely pursue contracts that interested him from both corporations.

Description:
Height 6"3 weighing 190lb, His attire is modeled on the soldier first class uniform, he has long black hair which he keeps tied back tightly with a low ponytail and a single arched lock of hair that hangs out above his forehead too the right, he has very sharp eyes and a firm look on his face showing neither sorrow nor Joy only a slight look of boredom and lack of contentment, he has piercing yellow eyes not overly luminescent but noticeable. His personality completely emotionless he cares for nothing except fighting. Jubei will not use offensive or summon materia he does not believe that it is true strength to rely on such ability's, only uses restorative materia to maintain self sufficiency and sense to find strong opponents. Jubei has no respect for human life and is bound by no moral code or ethics he would commit genocide if it would grant him a single worthy opponent.

Zero shift, Jubei strikes his opponent with an incredibly fast crushing elbow, then with blinding speed gets ahead of the free flying target and stabs them with both swords when they reach him.

- Darkness - The Idea behind Jubei's sword (Darkness) is that it is the futuristic version of a traditional Katana. The blade is never replaced instead it is upgraded with an unusual crystal, these crystals continuously repair the sword and maintain its sharpness at all times however the efficiency of the blade is decided by the quality of the crystal. Also some crystals have special ability's like an element or sometimes a possible status infliction, if ya need to know where he got it was standard issue, as for the other sword betrayal, it's not going to be replaced and it is only involved in Jubei's limits, he got that one during the Soldier Genesis project.

Once an upstart young lad with much potential, he was the heir to the Saikyo Ryuu dojo to soon lead the school after his own father died. As a bloodline descendant of the original Sakura Kasugano and Dan Hibiki from whom he was named, he was proud to uphold the family name.
However, even at the beginning of the school, it was mocked as a martial art, most calling it a joke for its over the top and "useless" moves that anybody could learn.

However, his grandfather had a vision that he wanted to uphold, "Why do anything else when you can be Saikyo?"
Though great fighters had come out of the dojo, most had been lost in scrutiny as they either went to other schools and completely hid the fact that they were once their students, or had been denied entry as possible casualties because they did not know how to truly fight.
Full of hate, he tried desperately to find a way in which to get the name of Saikyo the respect and admiration it deserved and demanded, and he left Ruiar in search of it.

In his time of leave, he left the school to his best students, one of them being the prodigy of the art Jhay Aspuria, and left in search for the answer.
It had been a year before he returned, and though the same, he seemed so much more different. Though the joking side still remained, on top of it there was a dark aura of hate and anger. He had found his answer, and it had been the near fatal mix of Mako, and Satsui no Hadō or (The Murderous Intent). Not unlike Akuma before him, he killed only those who he deemed worthy (or those who managed to knock him down in a fight and lose), but unlike the Satsui no Hado victim, he had no problem with challenging people to a fight instead of waiting to be challenged.
After near fatally wounding one of his own students, he believed that none of them were worthy of death by his hands until he was stopped by his favorite student.

Shocked at his 'betrayal,' but at the same time impressed that he stood up to him, he left the dojo in his hands, but swore that it was not the last he would hear of him.

He swore he would return, but not without first spilling the blood of one thousand men who claimed to be 'the best,' to show them who really was the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

1: Saikyo Ryuu - After the opponent is stuck in after a magnetic-like cyclone thingy.... a string of the Saikyo Ryuu attacks are performed with the power of the adrenaline flowing to back it up.

2: True otoko michi - An otoko michi that contributes all the materia and explodes. The attack leaves both heavily injuried, but Dahn is special in that his is combined with Premium Sign clones that rush out of his clothes after the initial blast.

History:

Cathrine was born as a very sweet normal girl in a tiny village called Leah where everybody knew everybody, and she was very loved. But one day, even after living in peace with nature for a long time. Then one day when she was eight, a massive beast began the destruction of the village. People were murdered, homes crushed, and during the panic she lost her right eye. All that was left were ruins and flashes of Sapphire light.

She watched the monster kill her whole villages and was (more then likely) the only one to escape. She was picked up by a merchant caravan and they took her to a nearby city and abandoned her there. The traumatic attack and trying to scrounge up a life in the slums while seeing other happy, well fed children fueled her anger and drove her to hate the world.

After so many years of this, she eventually joined Enersafe where she became an Enforcer. Its almost been four years since she became an Enforcer.

Tall girl, about 5'9, orangeish shoulder length hair with five strands that spike towards the back and an eye patch with the Merizon symbol on it. She wears a leotard type outfit with black sleeves and shoulders that go all the way around her palm. That button to the white swimsuit like part of her outfit that has no legs.

Instead of pants she has garter like attachments to the leotard like bit and large boots made of a light but very tough man made substance plated with metal and painted white. The only 'Accessories' are a small pouch around her left leg, cuffs around her wrists, and sheaths slung across her back for her weapons.

When not battling (or against an easy enemy) she wears a shirt, suit jacket and tie over the top part of her outfit but still no pants.

Flesh Cutter - an attack here where she jumps and brings the Scimitars crashing down on the target's shoulders.

9. Sanctuary of the Ancients : Rules

All Rules State for the Sanctuary of the Ancients Roleplay:

  • First and fore-most.. NO GOD MODDING! You are not immortal, your not infalliable. You can't survive a 20-Story Drop... you cant take endless amounts of hit, your strength isn't limitless, you can't just pick any weapon up and be any good at it.

  • NO SPAMMING! If you are caught spamming in my roleplay... you can guarentee I will boot you.. and not from just the roleplay.. but the whole guild. It'll be a temporary ban meaning you may come back the next day. But if you spam a second time.. it'll become a red-list ban. Meaning a full month of banning from the guild. On the third time.. you no longer are allowed in this guild PERIOD.

  • No antagonist antics... any racism, homophobia, anarchy, etc. etc. I don't care what the hell you are... if you don't like a race.. or any other problems you have. If you mention ANY hostile intentions against anyone in this guild. You will be banned from the guild IMMEDIATELY. And also I will report you to the Gaia Admins. Because the rules openly stated when you started gaia.. you are not allowed to show any forms of racisms or the like.

  • Be enjoyable... It sucks if you come in here and are saying things like "******** You" "Your a b*****d" "blow me" blah blah blah. Who cares. So shut it otherwise I will have you put on temporary ban. (1 week of being banned from the guild for first offense, second offense 3 weeks, third your black listed.)

  • I DICTATE THE ITEMS! If you would like to get a new item... PM me or in a post put it in (( )) and ask. I usually will not say No unless its going to over-power you or it's going to get in the way of the storyline. THIS DOES INCLUDE YOUR WEAPONS AND LIMIT BREAKS.

  • Please.. abide to the storyline. You can have your personal character growth.. I encourage it. And I won't enforce the storyline to strictly because I do like creativity. But when it comes go-time for a storyline piece, please abide to it.

  • NO BLOODY SHORT POSTS! I am sick as hell of short 1 - 3 line posts. There is a MINIMUM 4 line post. I understand you'll occasionally be put in a situation where you cannot avoid it. However if your at a lack of ideas on what to put.. then strike a conversation with a character.... describe the emotions.. hell describe their quirks or little things they are doing. It just adds more texture to your character.

  • No more than 2 characters per person. We may enjoy RPing.. but lets not being talking to ourselves shall we?

  • You may not kill anothers character without their permission. And you must alert me before you kill your character. That way I can find a new RPer to take the open spot or you need to show me a character to replace it.

  • In my absence.. you MUST listen to the Neutral Faction characters. They are the only ones who may dictate my role-play in my absence. If I am here though.. then I will be dictating it. But by having the neutrals take over if I am gone.. then I know the role-play will survive and go on strong.

  • I may add new rules as time passes. But I will ALWAYS alert everyone beforehand. If you think any of my rules are unfair.. then hell, go ahead tell me. I am not the kind of person whose going to go "It's my way or the highway" 99.999% of the time. And If I am.. then you ******** up big time.

  • No descendants of prior Final Fantasy Characters, from ANY of the games.

  • Your character isn't all knowledgeable. In fact only 2 characters may have any CLUE what a WEAPON is, or what happened in the past. And those are my character Zane (who was told about them when he was experimented on. And Rajossi Noire who is Lets_Dance_On_Fire's character because his character studied ancient texts and languages. In other words the only thing they know is how they grew up, and what their hobbies or common customs are. Nothing or extremely little amounts about the past. And virtually nothing from FF7 except for what Materia is.

    10. Sanctuary of the Ancients : Special Equipment

    As time passes in the roleplay.. new items are bound to appear. So as they appear.. I will put them in this log. If you would like to make/add a new item.. then ask me for permission.

    Rayen Board: (Ri-en) A Rayen board is a Rider's largest attatchment. This is their freedom... and what they need to participate in any Rayen tournaments. Its similar to an Airboard. It is generally powered through electricity... or in rare instances materia. The best Rayen boarders however.. customize.. or even build their boards from scrap to suit them. And it is not uncommon for them to name their boards.

    Trauer: Trauer are human-piloted mechs. These are PHENOMENALLY rare. And usually are just in high-security areas acting as guardians.

    Deusex: The Deusex are a new form of transportation for cities that only recently made their breakthrough. They run by sea water or other forms of liquids and travel at accelerated speeds. One could travel across the continent in about an hour with one.

    The Unknown Materia: Theres been what is believed to be a materia that has come into existance. No one knows it properties... or if their are more like it. Mayhap more knowledge will come of this later..?

    Tournaments: There are three very popular and very large events that currently have everyones attention. Rayen, Chocobo Racing, and Lockdown.

    Rayen is an airboard competition that is held only in the air. The largest tournament however is held at the

    Golden Chocobo. The tournament taking place above the large park. There are a few different methods of play..
    Blackout - Knock all opposition off their board with any mundane resources. (Poisons, Magic, etc. etc. are all banned.)
    Race - First to the finish line wins. No knockdowns except by throwing the opposition from their board is allowed.
    And lastly Capture the Flag - Everyone knows this variant.. first one to get the opposing teams flag thrice wins.
    (For RPers.. winning is up to dice-rolls. So person that wins the most dice rolls out of a minimum of 10 rolls wins... though thats the quick way of doing it.
    The fun way is actually RPing your way through the Rayen match... and if you are going to try to pull any stunts.. then a dice roll will be used to determine your success... ex. Knocking someone off their board... Even on a 20 sided dice roll wins... and if its a perfect 20 then they manage to pull it off.. and then also get to do a second minor stunt for free to get further ahead.)

    Lockdown - This is very similar to chess. Each person plays a specific chess piece.. and each one gets unique abilities for the round. Each power is different depending on the piece. And your current ranking goes up with each win. So if your team wins enough.. you go up a rank. Ex. A pawn is in a winning game for three matches in a row. That pawn moves up to being a Rook. The best strategy wins.
    (As the RPers we have 2 ways to determine a winner. Either A.) The two actually play a game of chess over flash or somethin like that. OR B.) Both send me how they would like to arrange their strategy... and the one with the best strategy wins. (Using a picture of a chess board and the location of each piece works

    12. Sanctuary of the Ancients : Materia, Summons, and (???)

    Materia:

    Command Materia:
    - Sense (Enables user to sense for SOME weaknesses. If you are sensed.. then you must give away 1 weakness..)

    - Take Aim (A bow/rifle only attack, allows the user a decent accuracy at the loss of strength in his attack.)

    - Deathblow (An attack thats a little inaccurate, but if it strikes it will be twice as strong.)

    - Double Shot (When attacking with a ranged weapon, the user will find themselves able shoot twice in succession.)

    - Beatdown (Does critical damage if it hits... the problem is its extremely inaccurate.)

    Magic Materia:
    - Fire (Everyones favorate toy.. fire grows over time. It starts out as a simple little splash of flame.

    - Ice (Free popsicles anyone? Ice condenses the air into an icy shard that can be launched at a target..)


    Independant Materia:
    - Accuracy Plus (Gives the user an unconsious boost in accuracy)

    - Speed Plus (Gives the user a little more speed on his attacks)

    - Long Range (Enables user to strike target no matter the range distance.)


    Support Materia:


    Summons:
    - Deux (Pinion, summons a hawk named Deux to swoop at the enemies doing a small portion of damage and distracts the enemy for a split second.)

    - Hikari (Rosary, Summons a small spirit of light that will deflect up to a maximum of three critical strikes.)

    FAQs

    What is the difference in energy types when they are assigned?

    The three energy types all determine what materia you are allowed to use.
    Mana = Any elemental magic and most healing magic materias, and support materia. The reason why is Mana is mostly raw magic force. There are side effects to constant use of mana.. such as body slowly breaking down genetically if you use it to often.

    Ether = Allows you to use any non-elemental magic materia and specific healing magic materia, summon materia, and some support materia. The support behind this is because the ether is energy of the ethereal dimension which doesn't pull raw energy.. rather something more intricate and subtle. And can even be more deadly. But theres a trade for this power, using ether based abilities to often will slowly begin to cause your character to lose their sanity or begin to make them fade out of existance. So it is highly advisable NOT to constantly use ether abilities if you don't need to.

    Adrenaline = Allows you to use independent and command materia. Lastly adrenaline is supported by your physical body, and your materia are just there to enhance it. So in a way you can't attune properly to any other materia.



    How does our energy type affect our limit breaks?

    I decided to try something a little new. The limit breaks would keep the lock on unless a strong enough emotion was currently affecting them. However thats where the similarities end.

    With Mana it takes getting smacked around a bit to much to hit your limit break.

    With Ether it takes being affected by status effects or by getting a little to drunk on Ether to hit your limit break trance.

    Lastly Adrenaline builds over time. The more you take a beating and the more deadly strikes you perform on an enemy builds your adrenaline till you reach the cracking point and release all your adrenaline into your limit break.



    Did you have to modify our profiles?

    Yes I did. The reason why is its 700 years in the future and a ton of stuff has changed. Many cities are in ruins now, and then several smaller cities/towns have come into existance. Not to mention that theres events in the future to come that are going to change a LOT of stuff.


    How does our attacking work if we use a martial arts style?

    Your characters style determines how your character fights. But thats it. It all acts like a normal attack ultimately. But the thing about it.. is how powerful you are is dependent on your skill of roleplaying. The better a strategy and the more detailed it is... the better your fight will be. And the easier you will gain the upper hand.


    What bearing does our alignment carry?

    Your alignment is a rough factor in your characters actions. A character can have good intentions but go about it the wrong way and be classified evil. Or they can have completely ego maniacal goals and be completely evil.

    Or a good character could be striving for personal goals only. But as a side result good things are being done for people though not intentional.

    As for neutral characters... the three neutral characters ARE STRONGER than any other type of character. And theres a reason for this that will become more apparent later in the storyline. So before you start shouting "thats not fair" "god modder" blah blah blah. Just keep an eye out and think about.. why would I make three people all stronger than any other character. Roughly each one twice as strong as a normal character? Because I would have to have considerable reasoning storyline-wise for me to do that.



    How do we determine who wins in a fight?

    There are a few ways. A.) I decide the fights gone on to long and I will declare who drops the next round B.) Both sides agree who has won that fight or C.) Its vastly apparent who is role playing better so they will win.
