There comes a time when it’s better to be truthful about inner emotions rather than hide it within the heart. And so, Asriel must say, he’s bored. Boredom seemed to haunt him during the day hours and stalk in his shadow until nightfall. Maybe it was a curse or maybe self inflicted. Either way, he is now, as he has done many days prior, drifting around to find something to amuse him. Yes, he was literally drifting. His wings were strong enough to drift a small distance which does cover ground faster and with, generally, less effort. With a few strong strides, a gale swept the ground and he touched his white paws onto soil.
His ruby eyes were bright as always, curiously eyeing the world around him and yet finding only emptiness to satiate his thirst for something more. He never knows what exactly he’s looking for but by all means he does keep searching. His restless wings were outstretched, feeling too confided if tucked behind his shoulder blade and so he left them to sway lightly with his quiet strides. The frosted ground beneath his paws tingled with every step. His long tail twitched at the odd sensation.

Asami's dark green eyes gazed around as she lazily laid on a tree branch. Her head was resting on one of her brown front paws. The other front paw loosely swung off the side of the tree branch. She glanced around the area, hoping to find something interesting. The little white ulaya's mind went crazy with all of the fun she could have if someone walked under her branch.
A small smile spread on her face as she continued to think of what she could do. Asami was never the normal ulaya. She didn't remember her mother too well and she stayed with her father ever since she was a very young kit. Her father wandered around so much that Asami sort of raised herself. He taught her how to hunt and what to eat, but she taught herself a lot of other things. The one thing no one ever taught her how to do was to grow up and act like a normal ulaya. Back to her plan. Asami glanced around someone would come... hopefully.

Luck has it that Asriel appeared near her tree. His head was, as always, drifting in the clouds and he barely registered his current location much less where he was going. His long tale swayed behind him, brushing against the ground occasionally and letting the mosture from the frost dampen the tips of the blue fur. His wings were low, gradually getting heavier as he eased on. The day seemed too long... but somehow it felt like time was moving faster with every step he took. It was as though there would be something that would pop out at him... but that was probably just his paranoia speaking.
His path, ironically, took him under the particular tree Asami was situated on. Of course, with his mind deep in thought, he had not noticed the figure above him nor thought to look up at any time.

Asami prepped herself. Her muscles were tight and right as he walked under her tree, she let them loose. She landed on him, but she knew she didn't hurt him too badly, if she hurt him at all, because she was so small. Ever since she was a kit, she loved jumping out and scaring other ulaya. Quickly, she jumped off of him and giggled to herself. "Hi," Asami said as if nothing had even happened. A small smile rested on her face as she looked the interesting male ulaya. His tail was a little like her friend's tail, but his blue tail had a lot more fur on it unlike her silver friend's tail.
Her eyes wandered over to his outspread wings. That was something she hadn't ever seen before. They were so interesting! Then her eyes wandered to the bright red bow tied around his neck. "Why do you have that?" She asked, completely changing the subject.

He was walking along his merry way until a rock seemed fall on him out of... the sky? Now this was no little rock; this was a giant fluffy and semi-soft rock. Although the other figure had not ment to hurt him, he fell forwards anyway and slid face-first into the dirt. That hurt--but he was too proud to admit it. Blinking quickly, he realized it was not a rock that fell on him but rather a female! Just what he needing. It was raining Ulayas.
Standing up quickly after to initial shock, he shook himself loose of any strange particles that may have stuck to his pelt. The lightly colored female seemed to be intriged by something but he couldn't guess what. Then she spoke. "Have... what?" Asriel looked around then down at his paws. Did he have something strange on? Looking back at her, he finally noticed her stare and follow it to his bow. "Oh. I can't remember. I've had it since I was little."
He blinked. "Why where you in the tree?"

The little white ulaya giggled a little more then stopped after a bit. It was fun jumping on ulaya and seeing their reactions. Of course, his reaction wasn't as animated as other ulayas she had seen before. What a boring reaction he had. She sighed a little, but quickly bounced back to her spunky self. As quick as she could, she walked around him with stars in her eyes. He was such an interesting ulaya indeed.
His spots looked a little like her friend's spots also, but he was blue. She remembered when she was little and loved tails that were not just a fluff of fur like her tail was. It was fun slapping at them, especially when the ulaya with the thin tail would wave it in ones face. "Oh, well it looks interesting." She said as she reached the front of him again. Her paw lifted up and poked at the little ribbon on his neck.
Her head tilted a little bit. "Why were you on the ground?" Asami loved to ask obvious questions, it made things more... interesting.

As the other ulaya circled him, he could not help but feel self-concious, letting his tail twitch lightly. Then she paused before him which made his bady stiffen. What was she doing? As she moved to poke his ribbon, Asriel shifted back, insanely uncomfortable with females coming too close to his side. What is that obvious? And the answer would be yes.
As she spoke, he moved to speak as an automatic reaction but paused, taken back by her statement. Then he took a moment before replying, "The same reason you are." Grinning lightly, he seemed to gradually find the female slightly more amusing than most which was saying a lot considering I terrible habits of getting bored much too easily.

Asami watched him tense a little. Did she scare him? Her head tilted a little as she watched him. His colorings weren't the only the strange thing about him, he was just pure strange. He was interesting though. She reached out her paw towards him again; it was funny to watch him lean away from her paw as if she had a disease or something. Asami pulled her paw away then stuck it back out. What would his reaction be?
"Because you wanted to jump on someone?" She asked with a sly smile on her face. It was fun to have conversations about absolutely nothing. Well, this was something, but it was something that was not important, so technically this something was nothing. Her dark green eyes looked into his bright red ones. He was a mellow ulaya that was... boring. Maybe he would get more interesting as they went along?

Asriel eased up but then she stuck her paw out again. This time, he nearly fell over from the sudden movement but did stumbled back. When he recovered, he glared at her as though accusing Asami of doing it on purpose which she obvious did.
Then he just paused all together in his movements in everything. Taking in her sly smile, something that just made him want to do... something out of the ordinary. He pretended to think about her words, debating on whether or not not that was his intensions. Grinning, "Yea, that is the reason," he seemed to ease into a playful role, eyeing her as though ready to pounce on her. He stalked around her, wings outspread and tail dancing readily.

"Why do you move away when I put my paw towards your ribbon?" Asami asked in her usual spunky tone. He clearly did not like her making such sudden movements towards him. Why wouldn't he do something?! It bugged her that he just moved away from her. When he stumbled a bit, she couldn't hide her giggles.
Why was he thinking about his answer? It was an obvious answer. No, of course he wasn't planning on jumping on someone. When he spoke his answer, she tilted her head. Her dark green eyes blinked as she scanned his playful look. "Oh no you don't." Asami said keeping a close eye on him as she stalked around her. Maybe he wasn't so boring after all. She moved away a bit, so that it would be harder for him to jump at her without her seeing him first.

"Well then, who's going to stop me? You," he huffed as though denouncing her abilities, a playful mood underlining his every action. He stalked around as though attempting to find a weakness withing her stance. Surely he was just all talk... he wouldn't really.
Or would he? Darting forwards, he moved to jump onto her in a way that was clear to her. It wouldn't be hard to move out of the way at all so why try? As the instant he jumped, his wings outstretched and flapped so he could practically change direction in mid-air. However, he merely did so to slip in front of her to stop any possible plans of escape..

"Of course I will stop you." She said with as much confidence as she could bundle up in her. Her eyes followed his every move. This was much better than just sitting there talking. Asami's smile grew a little bit. These kind of games were always fun!
When he made his move, Asami's eyes caught a glimpse of his wings outstretched. Instead of trying to run away, the white ulaya simply moved just out of the reach of the blue ulaya. "You are a smart one." She said with a pleased look. "What is your name?" Asami asked, just now realizing she hadn't asked for his name yet.

He grinned lightly at her compliment thinking to himself that she was no different, reacting quicker than he prepared. As his paws touched lightly down on solid ground once again, he chuckled lightly at her sudden and quite random question.
"Usually you're suppose to give your name before asking for one," He gave her a simple look as though he had expected her to know that.

When she heard what he said, she simply shook her head and said, "Thats not the way it works with me." Her white fur was a little dirty, but she didn't care, it was always dirty. Most ulaya had dirty fur, it was just easier to see on her, especially since her brown spots of fur complimented the dirt. Asami stretched and then let a rather large yawn slip from her maw.
"Well, what is your name?" She asked again, reaching out her paw to see if he had calmed down a little. All the little, white ulaya wanted to do was touch the ribbon around his neck, was that too much to ask?!

"Asriel," his words came sounding distant and distracted as he watched her silently. It seemed to him that she had an unnatural obsession with the red bow on her neck. What she saw in it, he couldn't guess but surely it would do no harm to let her touch it and ease her anxiety.
"And what should I call you?"
