Has anyone heard the F-Ups playing "All The Young Dudes"? It kicks a**. So does MCR/The Used's Under Pressure. But not nearly as much a** is kicked by that last one, as The Flaming Lips' cover of Under Pressure.

Deadsy covered Teenage Wildlife, but it's not my favourite cover.

I mostly dislike covers. But the Nirvana one of The Man Who Sold the World is nice. And I think those Portugeuse versions in The Life Aquatic were cool.

Sakurai Atsushi of Buck-Tick covered Space Oddity. It was pretty good.
I know there's another one that's just pulling for my attention, but I can't think of it. gonk

Venus Loon The Bauhaus' Ziggy Stardust cover was good, but my favorite is Without You I'm Nothing done by Placebo.

Actually, that song was written by Placebo and then David Bowie heard it and wrote a vocal harmony, called them and said he wanted to collaborate. I don't like covers of my favorite artists, no matter how 'badass' they may be. I'm just incredibly snippy about that: my theory is, make your own music, don't franchise on the success of other musicians who were talented enough to make it big on their own.
