((Rp for myself and Raze)) The ocean was vast and wide, filled with many creatures to call friends. Fish and even some whales to swim with but never any of her own kind, as far as she could swim Bubbles hadn't found one that even resembled her. There was a seahorse she met once but much too small so it couldn't have been related. She couldn't be the only one, right?
Today will be the day! I know it!, she thought as she swam happily through the waters, nodding happily in greeting to the other creatures of the ocean. But as she swan on something was changing. The ocean floor was getting closer and closer as she swam forward. Curiousity getting the best of her, she chanced a peek up above the surface and saw land. Temporarily forgetting why she was swimming around she ducked back down underwater and swam up closer for a better look.

It had been one, long day. The large Kalona settled himself along the shore of the ocean, not used to the feeling of sand under his belly. He had never ventured out to the beach, and he wasn't very fond of it. Hailing from the mountains, he found peace there... But it was oddly comforting here. He looked out at the scene, inhaling and exhaling deeply. He could ge used t this over time. If only it wee a little chillier, yes.
As he watched, it looked as if the water was rippling. His eyes narrowed instinctively, and he was quick to raise his voice to speak, "Who goes there?"

A voice! Quickly Bubbles looked around in the water near her, thinking another had called out to her, but she was still alone other than a few passing minows. Then who..? Swimming closer still until her front hooves grazed against the sand of the shore and peeked her head out of the water.
A blue creatire was resting on the shore and it had wings like she'd seen on the birds that would fly overhead, but they seemed different. Not as feathery. She also had noticed his hooves were the same as hers, only he had four instead of two.
"Who goes where?" she asked curiously, her tail splashing on the surface a few times. "Are you looking for someone? Cause I haven't seen anyone else around here besides you and some fish." She smiled up at him. "By the way, what exactly are you supposed to be?"

What was that?! Persephonix's icey eyes immediatly narrowed at the form that came up from under the water... A head? Of a mare? A look of pure annoyance crossed his thoughts. What Kalona was so messy that they couldn't even finish off the head of it's prey? His breed was certainly going to the dogs... But something was different about the had peeking out from the water. There was no blood.... So that meant whatever was underthere was alive!
His suspicions were confirmed when the head spoke, and a tail came out to splash the water. Whatever she was, she certainly was no Kalona, or dead horse. But she still bore the head of a horse, but the tail of a fish? He stared at her, befuddled, unsure of how to respond. What was he supposed to say to the blonde-haired sea-horse? Or mutant, whatever it was.
"Persephonix," He stated his name simply in his deep voice, eyeing her warily. He flexed his large wings almost pompously, his brows raised. Was she oblivious to the kings of the land above? 'But then again, I didn't know horses could live underwater...' "... I'm a Kalona, fool. What the hell are you supposed to be?"

"No need to be snippy about it. I'm a mer soquili, can't you tell?", she asked as she brought her tail up and waved it around before dropping it back into the water. "I suppose it's only fair that you don't know what I am since I have never seen a creature such as yourself before. My name is Bubbles, pleasure to meet you Persephonix."
Bubbles sat there quietly, still observing him with curiousity, his wings getting most of her attention at the moment. She still couldn't help but wonder what kind of wings those were, they were so strange looking. Not feathered like a birds, not shaped like a fin of a flying fish so what else was there? "If you don't mind me asking, what kind of wings are those? Are they special to you kalona breed because they don't look like anything I've seen out over the sea before."
