Ok I go to a predominately black school with a lot of black girls as you can imagine. Everytime I walk through the hallway I hear two female voices argueing and screaming or bad mouthing somebody. I had been checking a girl out and when I tried to talk to her I got chewed out with little provocation. It was kinda like just 'What the hell did I do!?' I was just wanting to get the subject out in the open. Why is it in urban areas only that girls seem to be alot meaner?

Stupidity is every where and trust me black girls aren't the only ones. As for urban people being mean, city people are just grumpy.

It's more noticeable in urban areas becuase there's more people.
But there are females like that EVERYWHERE. xp

Adorkably FLCL thats just what happenes when you get a bunch of females together have you ever seen rock of love those white girls are just as bad A good example. xd It is my experience that kids in urban schools seem to have a different way of expressing that good old-fashioned Highschool brand of uber-snottiness. Seems like in urban schools, the kids may be really loud and very obvious when they are trying to be snotty, while in private schools (I've attended both private and urban public schools) kids may not be so outward about it, but they are still just as snotty -- talking about you behind your back, spreading rumors at the school and online, vandalism, etc. Just because they don't come out and say mean things to your face, doesn't make them any less mean. confused

I live in a city and have attended public school all my life but people are usually pretty calm and nice in school

i live in a more um...diverse...community aka there are a lot of whites and asians
so its like even in high school, my friends still freak out when someone says "damn"

I've never really met any people from outside of the city but I do think that it's that "city attitude." But I think many black women tend to be more stand offish because they feel that if they weren't then they would be ignored. I mean, I definitely know how that feels. Some guys think if a black woman isn't loud, and raging angry that she must mean "yes." It especially sucks if you're a quiet black woman because it seems that a lot of guys don't take "no" for an answer until you get nasty with them. Then, you're a b***h. Ahh...

I live in the burbs and pretty much all the black girls are like that. Some arnt though..which is good because I cant deal with all that yack and drama. But dont get me wrong, white girls have drama too.
