I was thinking...maybe we should do a contest on CoX... for publicity or something. Then thing is, we aren't all on the same server. So I got two questions for us, that will be in the polls at some time. Here they are:

What kind of contest? (Ex: Costume Contest, PvP Match up, Arena Battles...)
Should we do it on all the servers that we are on? (Farther Range, or Better Show up from Current Members?)

Also, before we do this, we need to have a Hero SG up and running.

Lets debate it first in this thread, and the polls will go up once I decide to.

Well, costume contests are generally the most straightforward and I think they're fun. I don't PvP, usually you have to be built for that to do any good. I've also never done Arena so I don't know what that's like, at least that's a little more fair since you have pre-set teams and its not a free-for-all? I'd be willing to try it though I'd probably do bad, I tend to play stuff that isn't that great in PvP.

I thought on the same wave length. ^.^

I find out that I'm better at making PvP characters better than PvE ones. Of course, I do have a ForceField/Sonic that sucks in both stare

ANYWAYS, anyone else want to talk about it?

PvP isn't that hard you just need a little time to get used to it same with arena. I have some PvP build idea but I can't really test them on account of dial up crying . But arena is about the same but with some less lag and you get to set up the teams before you go into the match. With a PvP or arena event we'd be appealing to a specific group of people and mostly the other people we'd be battling against would know about us either if we do good or bad whee .

I think a costume contect would work the best because theres usually pretty good turn out in lower level zone like Atlas or Mercy (never been to a costume contest villian side). And at costume contests theres usually a lot of chatter going on so we could get more information out to people.

Ok. I also have never seen a CC on the Villians side o.o;

Anyways...Takrin, if you want, I can build your ideas, and tell you on how I think they handle. ^.^

If we do all three, we can get people from all three areas to join, which could help the guild in the long run. I mean...get some people who are good at Costume making, and some people for PvP and Arena...who can help tutor about PvP and how to build a character for it...and such, it could be of some great use. Overall, I think we should do it over time, since we still don't have a Hero SG up...

UPDATE:
Next time I'm on, I'm doing a CC on...

Guardian: Atlas Park
Virtue: Mercy Island

... I'm going to do it, and if anyone wants to join me, go ahead and come ^^ Times will be later posted.
