Firewhisker darted toward the Mooncave. He head come alone to speed up the travels. He had to get back to GustClan as soon as possible. He trusted his new deputy but he wouldn't feel at ease until he had returned. He felt uneasy. but he rushed in and sat at the side of the small puddle. It soon started to glow and he found with a guess that it was finally midnight. quickly he lapped up some of the icy water and curled up on the cold stone of the cave floor.
Firewhisker found himself at the Moonhill. StarClan warriors filtered in around him and he felt his pelt grow hot with many stary eyes on him.
"Welcome Firewhisker. Are you ready to recieve your nine lives?"
Firewhisker saw his mentor standing before him. His heart lept. He handn't seen this cat since his first day as a warrior when he was killed. It was Rainspirit.
Firewhisker nodded respectfully to Rainspirit "Yes, I'm ready." He watched as Rainspirit stepped forth. He had died in a couragous battle and Firewhisker had watched him die. His heart acked but he knew this was ment to be.
"Then with this life I give you courage. Use it well to defend your Clan in battle. "
Firewhisker shut his eyes and gasped as he felt pain rip at his pelt and courage rush though his limbs with the willingness to protect every cat in his clan. He felt his pain again, the pain he felt when Rainspirit died and new from know on he would feel this way for every cat. A second cat stepped forward from the ranks of StarClan. It Thrushwing. When Firewhisker was an apprentice Thrushwing had been an new warrior to GustClan. And later been accused of murder and being a traitor. Firewhisker was good friends with Thrushwing from the day thrushwing become a warrior and even before that. he had proved that he wasn't a traitor and in fact a loyal cat.
"With this life I give you justice. Use it well to judge your Clanmates fairly." Thrushwing meowed and backed away.
Firewhisker again felt the rush of fiery and new understanding for his clanmates. A new cat stepped forth.
"with this life I give you loyalty. Use it well to what you know to be right."
He purred. This was his brother. One of the most loyal cats he head ever known and killed in a battle to protect GustClan. He had always greaved for his brother, Mousetail. And to have him deliver him a live was over welming. "I miss you so much." he whispered in Mousetail's ear before he watched his brother leave. This time a brown tabby she-cat steped forward. Hawkflight. She had been a deputy before him and was side to be on of the fastest GustClan cats you could find. He had only been a kit when she had been deputy but she alwasy looked out for everyone.
"With this life I give you tireless energy. Use it well to serve your Clan to the utmost. "Once again he grew silent. A beautiful white she-cat steped forward. It was Swanfeather. When he was a young warrior she had looked after him after his mother died. and she was the feircest Queen you could find. She had kits of our own.
"With this life I give you the same desire to protect your Clan as a mother has to protect her kits. Use it well to defend your Clan."
This live hit him like a boulder and he gasped as Swanfeather padded away.
" With this life I give you mentoring. Use it well to educate your apprentices in the ways of the warriors."
Firewhisker nuzzled this cat with a new hope. His first apprentice had been killed when he carlessly left camp without Firewhisker. He was later found that day at the edge of the thunderpath dead. It had broken Firewhisker for the longest time, his first apprentice had falled to listen. He understood why Morningpaw would give him this life. He scaned the cats for Callystar one of his other apprentices and spotted her with a purr. Would she be delivering a life?
A sleek gray cat step up to him, her blue eyes serious. It was Stonepaw. She was a former RainClan med cat and had helped Firewhisker though many hard times. She had died in a battle with a badger. She wasn't a warrior and didn't know many defending moves, she wasn't even a full med. cat apprentice when she died.
" With this life I give you compassion. Use it well to be mindful of cats weaker than you."
He understood the meaning. Kits, queens, elders and Med. cats as well as many many other cats even warriors were weaker then him know that he had more then one life to live. This time Two warrior of StarClan walked up to him. This was weird but they talked in unision, both speaking at the same time. the first was Callystar
"With this life I give you love. Use it well to indulge yourself in happiness."
and the second HIs mother, Fernpelt! She loved him and his brother very much and hoped to see them live to be freat warriors. "I've missed you so much." he whispered to her. He missed almost every cat here. The ones that were giving him lives were the cats that had played a big role in his live of growing up to be what he was today.
Sootheart! she was to give him his last and final life! She stepped up to him.
"Do you have a message for Coalheart?" he asked Sootheart but she didn't reply. HIs life was in more of dire need.
"With this life I give you nobility, certainty, and faith. Use it well to lead your Clan in the way of the warrior code for all nine of your lives."Finally! his last life. It was all over.
"StarClan welcome you as a full leader of GustClan and call before you. Firestar." she meowed. and a course of calling of his name broke out.
"Firestar! Firestar! Firestar!"
"We hope to see you led GustClan for many moons to come." She finished with a swift lick to his ear.
Firestar sniffed in Soothear't scent and She backed off. He spotted alot of other cats. His first true love and many others.
Firestar woke up at the edge of the pool and shook sleep from his pelt. It was time to return to his clan. "Thank you Sootheart.. I'll do my best." he meowed looking up at the roof of th cave, he knew silverpelt was up their. He padded out of th cave and looked at the sky. "Thank you." he meowed once more and set back for Gustclan.
