The health class teacher Miss Stone stood outside the main housing complex for the Kaleido performers. She was waiting for her class to assemble for their trip today. Rather than another set of in class exercises and endless sheets of paper she'd chosen a more active route for teaching today. This lesson had many purposes including forced exercise outdoors for those who'd chosen to avoid winter by staying inside the past month or so.
Leaning against the wall, the mousy looking dirty blond sighed and watched her breath turn a frosty white. Hopefully all the students would get outside soon and everyone would remember to bring the skates they'd been assigned. The longer she had to stand unmoving in the cold the less happy she was going to be as a teacher today.
( * not everyone needs to know how to skate. It wasn't a requirement for getting accepted. People with characters who's bodies can not handle the cold need to pm my main and let me know so an alternative health assignment can be given to them)

Chiyako looked outside from the window in her room.
"Looks like a cold one again today.." She smiled. Winter was a rather fun time of year for her. The Sapporo Snow Festival would be happening soon up in Hokkaido. Sadly, this year she wouldn't be able to go. Her parents had promiced to send pictures of the gigantic sculptures via snail mail, at least. Today was different, though. She threw on her regular clothes, dressing in layers just in case it happened to magically warm up. On her way out the door, she grabbed her pair of skates as well as her coat, and headed out the door.
"Hello Ma'am!" She greeted Miss Stone as she stepped outside. Today was the day. Time to do health again!

Shima sighed heavily, as she spied the teacher and Chiyako waiting outside. She had brought her fluffy jacket along and seemed to be wearing alot underneath, and a bag of who knew what in there. It was way too early in the morning for her, and she gave off a loud yawn. Glancing up, the chilly temperature of mornings, seemed to make her sleepier.
She set on the ground behind a pillar nearby the teacher, Shima pulled a large, an almost too large for the small bag, blanket from her bag, and covered herself while sleeping, propped behind the pillar. On the bright side, at least she was outside?

Chiyako perked up as she saw Shima come outside as well. She turned to the girl. "Good morning Miss Shi-....ma..?" She trailed off, watching her pull out the blanket and sleep. Chiyako deadpanned, feeling very confused. "Uhm...?"

Levana walked out dressed in a knee length seuade jacket with fur line, green gloves, and a headband-like ear protetector which worked both as a headband to hold back her hair and as ear muffs. She wasn't all that...fond of the cold, but Levana knew how to deal with it. With hr skates dangling from her hands by their shoe laces, Levana joined the group with a small smile.
Despite not being the best of morning people, Levana was rather chipped this morning. The only reason for that was the sheer fact that the cold had pretty much shocked her into full awareness. Usually she'd still be somewhat half-asleep. Consdidering that she was holding a pair of skates, it was a good thing she was as awake as she was. The last bit of skating she had ever done was done in the summer and on roller blades so the idea of skating on ice was a bit worrisome.
"Morning Miss Stone, Shima, Chiyako!" She stopped as she caught sight of Shima and chuckled. "Guess the cold didn't wake her up as it did me."

Chiyako smiled, regaining her sanity as Levana greeted her. "Good morning to you too, Levana! At least most of us are awake." She laughed, her breath freezing before her. At that, her cellphone chirped. "Oh!" Chiyako grinned, whipping it out. "Oh wow! It's beautiful!" She grinned, looking at the picture of a shrine made out of snow that was in Sapporo. "Do you want to see?" She asked Levana, hoping to share the beauty.

" See what?" Having stopped to grab a coffee from the caf Kayla was a bit behind the other girls. She wasn't sure what was being discussed but ti didn't seem to be about the class since Mrs. Stone was standing there all silent like. Sipping at her coffee and holding her skate in the other hand the red head moved over towards Chiyako.

Shima woke up then, as Kayla appeared, her body tipping, and falling to the ground. She woke up to the shock, and quickly got back up.
Um. Nobody saw that. Yeah. Yeeeah.
Tucking back the blanket in the bag, Shima looked around.Ooh. Kayla had coffee. Conveniently, a StarBucks was open nearby. Seeing as not everybody had arrived yet and the teacher wasn't looking her way, Shima slipped off to the coffee shop while everybody seemed busy looking at some picture, She was back within minutes, the coffee shop was empty so Shima's purchases were made fairly fast. A sandwich and coffee laid in her hand, as she turned to sit down near the pillar to eat.
" If anyone's hungry, you can go to the coffee shop over there? I dont think it's against class rules to buy stuff. Yeah."

"One of the snow sculptures for the snow festival in Sapporo, Japan." Chiyako replied, showing the picture to Kayla. "My parents went again this year..It's sort of like a tradition for us, and they promised to send pictures." She smiled again, trying to do her best to explain.

The darker brown wolf whined, Natalie turned and faced her two companions who stood behind her. "I'm not sure that you are allowed to come." she told them both "I'll ask ok?" she smiled "I hope you are allowed guys!" she said giving Keid the female wolf a big hug while the male wolf Beid stood back and just watched. These two had been her best friends for the longest time and they understood her even if most thought they were just simply pets or an animal act they were wrong. "I'll call if you are allowed ok!" she said as she ran out the door. The two wolves stayed put were they were and clearly understood what she had just told them.
Running from her dorm room she flew down the stairs with a flick of her tail she paused as the bottom of the stairs. The cold air felt nice and reminded her of home. Being part wolf the cold didn’t bother her as much but it was still crisp. When she was at home during the winter it was much colder than this and there was always huge mountains of snow to rough around in with her two partners. It was a good time in her life besides the fact her parents were always working and still are. She retuned her thoughts to now.
Natalie wandered toward the health class with ears pinned low she was rather nervous being her first interaction with any of the other performers. Golden eyes gazed around looking at the other students and the teacher Miss Stone. She was holding her pair of boyish skates in one hand and a bag in the other. Natalie took a deep breath; she wasn't going to get anywhere standing here.
“Hello,” She called with a smile as she continued walking from the stairway toward the teacher “My Name’s Natalie Ackart.” She turned to the teacher when she got close enough "May I ask you a question Miss Stone?" she paused and looked back toward her room "Could my two friends come as well?"

Shima frowned as a blond girl came up. Um.. Was it just Shima or did that girl have.. animal ears? Perhaps it was just for show? BUT. It moved as if it was natural. And the girl had a tail as well!
Reflecting back... There was a guy with a dragon-like tail in the first class. He was a cute guy, but nevertheless a tail. He hadnt appeared in any other classes though. Shima had assumed back then, it was for show. Shima took a sip of her coffee, and her eyes lowered. Her violet eyes were still keeping an wary eye on the girl, even if she couldn't hear what was being said.

Miss Stone directed her attention at Neatalie for a moment. She listened to the girl then shook her head. " I've been informed of your situation and miss Ackart and for some classes your companions may come but this class is likely to cause them injury." Wolves might walk over ice sometimes but that was usually with the aid of snow or traction having them on completely smooth ice was not the best of ideas.
That said the Health instructor. Smiled at the rest of the ground and moved away from her position on the wall. " aAright class it's time to move out. as most if you have likely guessed today we'll be skating, skating serves multiple purposes in your training at the stage. I'll explain more of this when we get started , for now we're jogging down to the waterside to get warmed up" As she spoke Miss Stone stretched. " Those of your with no training in skating will begging to learn today, those who know what they are doing will follow an outline of exorcises to be given once I've determined their skill."
The mousy looking woman made sure everyone had nodded their understanding before she started to jog towards the shoreline.

Chiyako glanced at Natalie, but had no time to register any thought before Miss Stone gave instructions. She nodded, listening thoroughly before fallowing the woman's lead to the shoreline, watching her footing intently. Packed snow was almost as bad as ice, and tended to be slick. It was a good thing that she had worn thick and high boots!

Natalie gave a nod backed up then listened. Natalie would have loved to have her friends come but she would make it up to them latter. Natalie waited until she finished speaking and began to jog. Her tail waved back and forth excitedly she loved running or well jogging in this case.
After a few moments of stretching Natalie set out into a jog after the teacher Miss Stone. Running was one of her favorite pastimes when she was with Keid and Beid.
The wolf girl smiled following the shoreline Skating was going to be so much fun. She was new and would make sure she didn't fall behind the others.

It was not easy to jog with a cup of coffee in your hand and not spill any on yourself no matter how well fitted the lid. Still Kayla manged to spill only a few drops which made the early morning jog actually more pleasant with a hint of sweet coffee scent permeating the air around her. She was sort of looking forward to skating and sort of not. It had been a while since the girl had gone and she'd never been very good to begin with. Ahh well at least this health class was an active one.
