Psycho Darkness

I like most RPG's, but hearing mixed opinions about this has kept me from going out and buying it. Now it's been almost a year, and the game hasn't dropped a penny in price. Now I'm getting sick of waiting, and I need a final verdict: Get it now, or wait for the price drop?

And no, I won't try the demo. They take the "buzz" out of playing a new game.

So far is ok.. Achievements are actually difficult and challenging, and I've been on it for 3 hours and haven't even gotten down with the first disc.. C ould be a long term investment if you are into point and click gaming.

It's alright I guess. I played the demo myself. It had the typical Final Fantasy-like battle turn sequence, but the focus was on the dragons and now the actual characters. It looked great though. A couple moments of lag, but nothing serious. I didn't care for the boss music; that's not for me. I've heard it's challenging in later stages, but I wouldn't know for sure.

Personally, i'd wait for a price drop or try to find a used copy since i'm a cheap b*****d. I've heard good things about Eternal Sonata though. I think i'd get that first before Blue Dragon...that's just me.

Alright, so that's 1 yes and 2 no's. I guess that settles it, I'll have to wait another couple of months.

A used copy is only $5 less than the new price, and I'm not paying that much for a game I might not like, employee discount or not.

Eternal Sonata, eh? I guess I'll keep my eye on that too.

i was a little disappointed with the demo of blue dragon but it should be okish but I don't think it's worth $60 for the world.

As Psycho Darkness said Eternal Sonata is worth it though 3nodding I rented it thinking it would be horrible but it was awesome! Definately worth sixty and I heard it got runner up for best rpg for 2007.

I have Blue Dragon and I love it although it seems to be aimed at more at the younger generation and the achievements are challenging but I enjoy that. If you are a big RPG fan I recommend it. heart
