Post your reviews in this thread.

Just because I like making rules ( <3 ) put what type of review it is at the top, along with the title of what it is your reviewing and an out-of-five rating.

MOVIE REVIEW
I Am Legend
3/5

This movie didn't really do anything for me. I read the book beforehand, an old classic written in the 50s. There were several things changed in the book, especially the role of a main character. They even added random scenes in the movie that had never even occured in said book.

The action was decent, and the depiction of the vampires wasn't far off key. However, things could've been done better if they had followed the book closer. I would advise that one waits until it comes out on DVD to watch it unless you just have $5.50 you feel like spending. (If that's the case, get some Gaia Cash and treat yourself to some evolving items. <3 )

MOVIE REVIEW
National Treasure: Book of Secrets
4/5

If you like non-stop action and puzzles, then this is a good movie. I reccomend you see the first movie beforehand, but not neccessarily. The action is less, but the puzzles have become harder and more complex.

There are more break-ins, more police chases, and more money. And a bunch of shiny gold. I mean a bunch! If you know anything about ancient indian people, then you will understand the clues much better, and you will be able to solve the riddles faster.

I think it is worth spending some money over, and do get something to knaw on, because if you're like anyone I know, you need to be chewing on something so you don't shout at the screen and get cokes and popcorn thrown at you...again.... ninja ANYways, do go see the movie, it's really good, fast paced, and funny.

MOVIE REVIEW
Alvin and the Chipmunks
3.5/5

If you're a family person, by all means go see this movie. It's funny, but mostly with a child's humor. Let me put it this way: if the previews looked good to you, then the movie will look good, as well.

It could be worth spending some money, if family-genre is your thing. If not, I wouldn't really bother. If your set on seeing a movie, but family isn't your thing, go see something else, or if your not, and just looking to spend some money, might I suggest a good book?

Book Reviews
Robert Jordan's (R.I.P.) Wheel of Time series.
4.5/5
These books are some of the best fantasy fiction novels I have ever had the pleasure of reading. I have just finished the 11th in the series and am (im)patiently awaiting the 12th, and final, installment. Unfortunately for Fantasy enthusiasts around the world, Robert Jordan has recently lost in his fight against Amyloydosis and left this world for another. This has devestated his fans and family, namely because he died before the last book was finished! They currently have someone ghost writing for him to finish the last book in the series and it is expected to hit the shelves some time in '09. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who has even the slightest interest in fantasy fiction as it will suck you right into it's world with it's flawless characters, beautiful imagery, and diabolical villains. It only gets a 4.5 out of 5 because I refuse to give a 5/5 on anything. Perfect is almost unnatainable, but this series is as close as it comes.

Book Review
Pendragon series by D.J. Machale
4.9/5

A splendid tale. Wonderfully woven together. Pendragon is about a highschool boy named Bobby Pendragon. At home he is a model student, ace basketball player, and best friend of Mark Dimond. Until one night, after a steamy kiss with Queen of the Soccer Field Courtney Chetwynde, his Uncle Press whisks him away to a dark and abandoned subway in a 'bad' part of New York.

From there Bobby goes on a crazy adventure, fighting a demon ironically named Saint Dane. There are 8 books in the series so far, the ninth coming out in May '08. I'd definitly recommend them to anyone... Even my Eviro. Science teacher liked it.

Movie Review
Cloverfield
3/5

The movie was actually quite good. There are several good "jump scare" scenes, but the director also does a good job of building up the scare you know is coming. Unfortunately, the movie leaves you wanting at the end in ways that I cannot mention without possibly spoiling it for some people. I liked it, I just felt that they could have done a better job of explaining certain things...

Book Review: The Twilight Saga (Twilight & New Moon)

5/5
Yes i know this is more than one book. i have read the first two. i think they are wonderful, they hit every emotion, and at all the right times too, you go from crying to laughing within 2 pages or so, its full of romance and sorrow. the jist of the stories are true love endures. i really enjoyed these books. <3
