I dunno about new ones coming out, but there are plenty of good ones on DVD/Blue Ray.
My personal favorites being Dawn of the Dead (2004), Audition, Silent Hill (first 45 minutes), Perfect Blue, The Descent, and some others I can't think of.

You could just go with the classics like Amityville Horror (both are good, I believe the original is better), The Thing, The Omen, Evil Dead, The Excorcist, Event Horizon, Poltergeist, Rosemary's Baby, Alien(s), Psycho, The Shining, etc...look up a list.^^ Honestly, I don't think any good horror movies have come out recently.

I agree with Angel and Abara.
I'm not normally one for "horror films" (they're just so crappy now-a-days), but 1408 was actually really good!

Big chicken here, but one I can recogmend (old one) Is the Japanese Directors volume of the Masters of Horror series... It's a good mix of "jump out from behind a wall" shocks and mind-twisting sur-reality...
