Silver was in the kitchen, making last minute touches to pies. She had been busy all morning making sure there was enough. She hadn't met Potsu's older sister too often, but apparently, Ness knew her quite well. Silver was happy that Potsu's family was coming. She was feeling so excited that Ness was willing to hang out in her house. They had successfully managed to put a temporary fence around their yard keeping evil smidgeons out. She was determined to turn these topsy turvy days into something fun.
Now, Ness on the other hand. She had been feeling quite the mess. She had returned from a brief time away with Twilight to find her bunnies missing. Then, upon further investigation, she found only their garments... She wouldn't tell anyone else the results of her investigation. In fact, noone asked her about it as it procured her slipping into a state of mumbling and shock. She agreed to the feast of pies. She was quite ready for someone pleasant to be there. When she was told about Minty, she felt a little encouraged. It had been a while since she had a session to mentor the new friend. She was much looking forward to it. She just sat solemnly in the front room, playing with a ds.
Graceangel had been busy about getting dishes washed and place settings all ready. She also heard a doorbell and went to open it. "Oh, how perfect!"

 And who would expect that Star and her Numa would be at the door?! Star herself hadn't spend much time in NNL. As she usually just let her Numa roam around on their own. But she'd always come to see them! Minty, one of Stars Numa reside on Stars back. She oddly like to ride her back. She acted much like a child. But I suppose some might find that endearing. I suppose.. Minty however was very happy to have been invited to this little get together. She didn't know Silver, but she knew Ness. She had taught her how to do many things. They were obviously friends, but they hadn't seen each other in a while. Not to mention, food! She loved food! Anything sweet, she'd eat!Also at the door was Potsu! Though he wasn't quite as crazy as Minty. He was still kind of excited to be here. He hadn't been invited to anything like this before. He also seemed to be getting quite used to Silver in such a sort time. Which was odd for him. He didn't get used to many people in such short time. He was also looking forward to meeting her sister, and food. Just like his sister, he'd eat anything sweet. That is where he got his eating habits from. He did know her since he were in a letter. Hmm. Today would be an interesting day..

Graceangel then opened the door. "Hello everyone! Ah! you all made it. wonderful... Well, I will go get some drinks." She turned to Ness, snapping a finger to get her attention. "Hey, Can you come and greet everyone? I'll go put your DS on the charge."
Ness shrugged at first not wanting to. She had been totally wrapped up into a new video game Grace gave her for christmas. It also had been a silent therapy to keep her from going crazy with the disappearance of her rabbits. She jumped up and strolled over to the door. She was surprised to see Minty. "Hey!!!! I didn't know you were coming too! So.. you must be Potsu's brother. Actually, I don't even know Potsu... I just heard about him from Silverglow." She made this giggly noise and rolled her eyes when she mentioned how Silver talked about him. Her wings spread out and glinted just a tad to see Minty. Maybe they would practice walking around on their hands.
Silverglow saw Grace walk in with that smirking smile. It was the smile that meant her human had been up to something. Probably something to do with her or ness. She put the last pie on the counter. "What are you all smiling about? Are they here? Are they?" When no immediate answer came, her eyes widened. She started to feel all excited. She felt perfectly ridiculous. She wasn't this excited when Kiwi was over for spare of the moment tea and pie. Still, she swirled her tail as she prepped the table for last minute placings. Everything was just right. She took her apron off as she went to stand in the doorway to the dining room. "Greetings and salutations, friends!!!"

Star walked into the cottage, Minty still on her back. "Hi all." She said, with a smile on her face. Minty hopped off Stars back. "Ness!" She said with excitement. "I haven't seen you in a while!" She said, giving her a smile. She would give her a hug, but she didn't know if she liked that sort of thing. She probably would've been more excited if she didn't know she was going to be here. "Yesh! I'm Potsus sister!" She said nodding with a smile on her face. Hmmm. WHat would today bring? Maybe she'd learn something new today! She giggled some, meeting up with Ness again.Potsu followed in behind Star and Minty. With his excitement, he was a little nervous. He hadn't been in anothers home. So it was a bit odd. He looked around some. Unknowingly, he waved at Ness, which he had never met before. He didn't want to disturb Ness and Mintys conversation. So he didn't really bother to introduce himself properly. He wasn't one to do that either. He didn't see Silver around. Until she appeared at the doorway. Seeing her oddly made a smile appear on his face. He didn't know why, it just did. "Hey Silver." He said a bit quietly. He was sure she didn't even hear him.

Silver fluttered a little bit. "Oh, I am so glad all of you could come today! I have lots of pie, tea, milk, and sodas ready! Actually, it's not just pie this time either. there are cakes and cupcakes. Come!" She smiled and started to turn around. Her eyes lingering towards Potsu's direction. She started to smile more. She wondered how he persuaded everyone to come. Then again, maybe they just were quick to take invitations for food.
Ness smiled and wrapped an arm over Minty's shoulder. "Sorry. I suppose if I were feeling more like myself. I would have hugged you or something. I usually am a bit more lavish with my friends. I've just had a tough week you could say. Maybe after we have yummy eats, we can practice walking on our hands or something.. or maybe we can dance... "

Minty smiled, still quite excited. "I suppose it's okay." She said, nodding her head. Once she head 'practice' and 'dance', her ears began to twitch and her tail began to sway. She had wondered if they'd do anything today, and hearing that. There was quite the possibility they were going to have lots of fun. "Walking on our hands? Dancing?! I would love to!" She said, smiling ear to ear. Minty was one to get excited easily. Especially if it dealt with something she liked to do. Or if it involved her friends. She was always excited to see her best friend... But I suppose that could also be for a different reason. Any how, she was still quite excited for any future events! Potsu looked over at his sister. She seemed to be having a nice time already, talking to Ness. He was glad she came along. He also knew she would with the mention off any sort of sweets. I suppose that'd always be one way to persuade her to go anywhere. He then gave a quick glance to Silver. Noticing she was looking at him a little, he began to blush some. Not thinking he'd ever blush, it happened. Why? He had no idea. He wasn't to informed about anything dealing with 'liking' other Numas. Just like his sister, they were pretty slow with that subject. He gave her a little nervous wave. As that didn't embarrass him enough. But it was too late now. He was already giving her a wave. This was quite unlike him. Hehe.

Now, while Silver was very polite and easy going. Ness was very outgoing and in your face type of girl. She was quick to talk and put on a show for anyone. She also always had eyes and ears peeled for anything particularly interesting. Until very recently, she had been keeping her nose out of Silver's business mostly on account of not fully accepting Silver as her family. With the past few weeks and coming around to her a bit more, Ness also grew more curious and meddlesome. In a tried and true big sisterly kind of way, she in the blink of an eye scurried up next to Potsu getting a look at his face. "Oh - my - gosh!!! You're just like Yuki. How cute..." She then ran back to Minty grabbing her hand leading her to the table. Ness wanted to be sure they'd get seats next to one another to chat while they ate. She had that smirking knowing smile on her face.
Silver looked mildly appauled at Ness for what seemed like she was checking Potsu out. It wasn't enough for Ness to have Twilight and her other assortment of people who adored her? Silver for the first time had someone to be her friend.. especially hers. Everyone always liked Ness. Ness's forward ways... then when she panicked about those forward ways.. what if ness.. but when ness walked away she relaxed. Then, Silver felt extremely confused. She had seen Yuki a few times; and Potsu looked nothing like him. She didn't understand at all what it was about. She took a seat next to Ness at the table. She looked to her human to have a seat while they all began to serve pie to their guests. "I hope you all enjoy this. I've been slaving away all week to make some selections of what I think are my best works." When she said works, she meant her pies.

Minty smiled away. Minty was pretty out there herself. But more in a fun loving kind of way. The one in the group everyone might find as the little sister. Why? Because she acted quite childish in her ways. Always giggling, having candy, talking to like EVERYONE. She was quite the little girl in the adult body! Getting along with anything, and anyone. So far, anyway.
She didn't pay much attention when Ness when to talk to Potsu. He did need some more friends... Though when she head the name Yuki, that caught her attention. She had a met a Yuki, but she didn't understand what she meant that he was like him. She just shrug that off, oh well. She then got pulled away by Ness to the table. Mmm. Pie! Potsu was just minding his own business. You know staring at all her prettyness, and such. Then suddenly, Ness, appeared in front of his face. Talking about some Yuki, he didn't know. Who was he? He didn't know, nor did he really care... Sadly. It wasn't really unlike him to not care. He was quite the caring Numa when you got to know him. At first, some might think him as cold. But that was just his shyness taking over him. Most the time it took him a while to open up to people. I suppose it was just how he was.
Once Ness went back to Minty to escort her to the table, Potsu just follow. He took a seat (( Next to Silver? )). He looked around, just looking at everyone. Not really knowing what to do now. Pie anyone?

Silver was feeling pretty happy that everyone had come to eat. She was cutting up one of the pies while giving cues via eye contact with her human to do the other one. She lifted a piece out of the raspberry rhubarb pie and set it on Potsu's plate. She smiled to herself feeling unwantingly giddy that he had the first of it. She was really feeling excited he was going to sit with her and eat all her sweet creations. Then, she served herself and passed it to Ness.
Ness hadn't wanted the one Silverglow gave her. She had been waiting on the apple pie their human had. That was much more Ness's speed. Apple pie with a scoop of ice cream. That was more her speed. Out the corner of her eye, she watched Silver a little. She smirked, and it was all she could do not to blurb out loud something that could very well embarrass Silver for the rest of her life. Instead, she smiled and looked at Minty. "Would you like some of this apple? or would you like the Rhubarb? I don't mind to serve you.. you are a guest here and all.."
Grace just sat there feeling happy to have a house full of friends. "Yes. I agree.. It is great having us all gathered together. Not many things are as important in life as having good people in your life to share good food with." She nodded as she passed Ness the pie after she had taken a few pieces herself. "does anyone need more tea or milk before we dig in?"

Star nodded, everything was always better when there were people around that were friends. Especially if there were food involved! Potsu looked at Silver with a smile as she served him pie. He hadn't tasted that pie before, but he bet it'd be good. He wasn't very picky, so that was a plus when it came to food. He was glad she had invited him, and also glad he had accepted the invitation. He never really had anywhere to be. As he was usually out, basically doing nothing. Just staring at movement and such. So it was nice to actually be doing something. Unlike his sister, who was always out doing something.
He kept the smile on his face, "Thank you." He said as she served him a piece of pie.Minty looked at all the pie and such around. Mmm. She loved her sweets. She looked at Potsu and Silver, as she was serving him the first piece of pie. She was pretty slow, so she didn't really think much of them two. Other then them seeming to be getting pretty close. I'm sure Potsu didn't even know what was going on in the inside of him. So, Minty would defiantly not know with just looks. She gave a smile at Ness as she asked her if she wanted some of the apple pie. "Mmm. Apple pie seems very yummy right now!" She replied with with quite the smile on her face. Mmm, pie. "Thank you, Ness." She nodded.

Silverglow giggled softly. Her delight was bubbling over. Not only had she made food for others to share; they were here eating it and having a good time. She couldn't think of anything better. Every now and then, she looked up to see Ness looking at her with a knowing look. Silver started to avoid Ness's prying eyes. They made her feel bashful and embarrassed. So what if having pie with Potsu made her happy? Doesn't everyone feel happy to spend time with friends? She then looked at Potsu and smiled. "I'm glad you like it."
Ness had looked over watching them. Then, she looked back at everyone and after serving Minty's pie. She sat back and ate at her pie with a fork, looking around at everyone. She brushed some of her bangs to the side. "Yeah.. so guess what everyone... I recently took Twilight to be my mate. I know! I have to admit that I didn't think I would have been able to do it. I mean.. I was never the type to wanna be tied down... but you know... we always have such a good time together. I was hoping becoming mates would keep him around a little more often." She was prepared to go on rambling and entertaining them all with her love life. She thought she was pretty damned entertaining. Who didn't wanna know all about it?

Potsu took a bite from the pie. It was quite good. Even though he never really ate pie, he really liked it. He nodded, and looked at Silver. "Yes, it's very good." He said. He continued to smile, while eating his slice of pie. He wasn't paying much attention to Ness, who seemed to have gone on and rambled some. He just continued to eat up his pie. Unlike Minty, who seemed to be a tad bit interested in what she was rambling on about. Minty nibbled on her pie, which was quite the yummy! She didn't eat much pie either, but apple pie was very yummy. She listened to Ness intently as she spoke about her love life. Her eyes glistened as she spoke about getting mated. Minty never really thought about it, but it seemed to make Ness happy. If Minty were to be mated, she think it had to be with someone very special to her. Like it should with everyone. She didn't know when or if it'd happen. But she wasn't in a rush for it to happen. "Wow Ness! I Didn't Know That! Congrats!" She said, her mouth somewhat full of pie. She was very happy for hers!

Ness seizing upon her success at snagging the spotlight. She then took another bite of pie, and after she swallowed, she continued. "Yeah. His name is Twilight. He is a my little numa... He is gray and purple. And, You know what he told me? He said that I'm his star." Her eyes flashed. Though she was half telling her story in bragging; the telling of it made her feel more gushy than she would have expected.
Silverglow watched at her. She smiled. She had been happy that happened for Ness. After all, she was finding that she gained more slack and acceptance from Ness since it happened. "I wonder if finding love like that makes you a better numa." Then, she wondered if it would change her if she found it. Then, she glanced over at Potsu. She smiled feeling happy he was enjoying her baking.

Minty listened to Ness as she spoke more. She had never met a Numa called Twilight. She'd like if she could meet him. "I haven't met him before." She said to Ness. And she whole star thing, she thought was very cute. Her having stars on her, she'd think that'd probably make her blush if someone told her that. Then, when Silverglow began to talk, she then began to wonder the same thing. But, maybe not better. Maybe only better when it make to experiences. Potsu listened to Ness, as she spoke. He hoped he'd find someone to love one day. Him not being very social, he thought it might be hard for him. But I suppose one truly never knows. He saw Silver glance over at him with a smile. He then smiled back and decided to say something about what she said. "I don't think it makes you better. Maybe appreciate more things. Being yourself always makes things better, no matter what." He said, keeping his smile. He did really think that.
