Article here.

While not 100% confirmed at this moment, though it'd be nice to get this out of the way early incase it turns out to be true (Which would be likely). If so, it'll likely coincide with either the Dark Eldar codex (Namely due to Eldar invasions tending to be swift strikes onto the planet) or the re-release of the Space Marine codex (As they tend to be used in a similar way, though with differing goals).

Thoughts on this codex? Similarly, thoughts on the new models they may or may not release?

Highly plausible at best, the mentioned plastic kits are sketchy and I sincerely doubt that you get a kit that combines the parts of a Dreadclaw and an Imperial drop pod.

edit.

Oh what the gentle caress, plastic Valkyries are too good to be true. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for this one.

I'm not sure on the statement on that 40k games will now be 3rd dimension.

wasn't apocalypse already 3rd dimension?

I bet the drop pods will keep the Beakies happy for a long time..

Well, in essence it's still going to be just a 2d strategy, but now with more available flying units. I mean, I already have one, so it doesn't make that much a difference to me.

Sounds kinda cool ^^ altho as usual, it seems that the human races are at the centrum, as we have seen with apocalypse (IG and SM got tons of new stuff, the necrons got 2 razz )

In fairness, Necrons don't really need much else.

well maybe not razz but they were just an example : o I jsut compared it to how much the Imperial stuff got and the pathetic new list of new stuff the other races got :/ (well, pathetic compared to the Imperial ones)

Well Imperial stuff is pretty easy to come up with. For all the alien races they have to invent new things to release. Designs, rules, etc.

I'll always wish the necrons got more in apocalypse. A necron Monstrous creature or mobile legendary unit would have made my millenium. Still, it seems like a great thing. You can bet my friends will crap themselves at a plastic drop pod kit or thunderhawk. I'd still buy them tho.

Planet Strike is slated for sometime next year. EVERYTHING else is wild rumours and lies until visually proven. Plastic drop pods are a green light, the rest is a big mystery.

You want a god-like character in the game, that is more powerful than the Nightbringer and Deceiver combined? Way to go team R!

even tho it seams this tread is dead i just want to put out if they did make the void dragon it would completely mess up the human races turning the hole adeptis machanicas againsed the imperium , which would be devastating in Evey way ,shape and form so basically it will never happen

Thread Necromancy = Not approved unless your comment is relevant to the original topic. Something like this would belong in the Necron thread.

As far as it goes, there'll have to be a rather large run of plastic models to pull this off for multiple armies. Otherwise the cost of FW models will likely throw things off. That means a lot of things that make me happy, though.
Plastic Ravens (I hope), Thunderbolts, and hopefully a whole larger slew of models.
