The weyr is quite cozy, if a little small. T'bell picked it due to its' large bath and storage room, one of the only smaller weyrs with that luxery.
His room is decorated with dyed harper blue furs and woven blankets over the bed, as well as many bits of parchment scattered over the many writing surfaces. Glow lanterns decorate the corners, as well as many half-melted candles and quills. He writes in his spare time, like most harpers do. Rarely does he compose songs however, but instead chronicles his adventures in the weyr. An old bound wherhide book stands out among those finer books on the bookshelf that sits beside the entrance to the bathroom, but it's so near the top that no on can likely reach it. It's his old journal, and put there once it was full. There are good memories in it, but also a neatly penned death-toll of all those who succombed to the disease that swept the weyr not long ago. His new diary lays hidden in some unseen place.
A fireplace sits against the outside wall, its stone mantle serving as a spot for more glowbaskets and odds and ends he collects.
Near the bed the stone floor is covered with a soft brown fur of some unknown beast. It keeps the morning chill from his toes before he takes his typical bath. A chest at the foot of his bed holds his clothing, and the one in Liliaths weyr hold her oil and riding harness.
Curtains block both the bathing room, storage room and exit from prying eyes, and a long set of stairs leads out of Liliaths weyr and into the rest of the halls. Anyone entering T'bells' home from inside the weyr will be forced ot face his dragon first. This tends to dissaude most sneaks.
The storage room has recently been changed to a small living space for his whatchwhers. The fireplace mantle is also decorated with new companions, and two firelizard eggs sit near the warmth. The gold one seems to shimmer even at night.
T'bells' shoulder knot. The two colours of the rope signify the holds' colours and the ribbon shows the colour of his dragon.

A few shelves around the room are decorated with T'bells' belongings. The first thing to be seen is a dark brown runnerbeast toy that he's had since he was very small. It's a bit worn, but it's not too badly off. A few glowbaskets provide light from that otherwise empty shelf.
The second shelf contains three firelizard toys. His favourite is the blue, but he's accompanied by a queen and a brown wearinging a funny hat.
The third holds his favourite mug for klah and a bowl for meatrolls or whatever else he is able to fit in it. Both have designs of green sragons on them. On the cup one stands regally, while on the bowl several fly in a fancy wing, fighting unseen thread.

A leatherbound book sits on his desk, pen and quill close, for his nightly reflections. It's a diary, a journal of sorts, and not many of its pages are filled yet.

Well hidden on his bookshelf lays another journal, this one old and obviously quite worn. Every worn and yellowed page of this book is full of writing. The beginnings detail his life when he first came to the weyr his impressionm training, mating flights, and finally a death toll of all those who succombed to the illness. This journal is well hidden and well guarded.

A stone waterbowl decorates another table, meant for washing dirtied hands before food. This one seems a bit expensive, with more dragon engravings on the side. It was a gift, one from the harper hall, and everyone put a few marks towards it for him so he could be presented with it after impression. Beside that is a plain wooden platter with a few meatrolls and a wedge of cheese. A quick snack, likely brought in by a weyrling, and waiting for him when he returns from his duties.

A fine and soft pelt decorates the solid grey walls of the weyr, recieved from a recent feline hunt near Rias Hold.

Name: T'bell (Tabellen prior to his dragonrider status) Age: 19
Gender: Male
Hair: Black and thick. It's very curly, but he keeps it under control by wrestling it into a braid that usually falls to his shoulderblades. He leaves his bangs out, or they refuse to be put back, and they hang to just below his chin. He ties his braid with a strip of harper blue material.
Eyes: Medium green, similar to his dragon in colour.
Figure: Thin and quite androgenous. He was a harper previously, and could sing female parts before his voice changed.
Skin Type: pale, freckles appear on his cheeks in the summer
Riding gear desc: He tries to keep himself in darker clothes, so that'll usually be what he's found in, though he does have to have something in harper blue, even if it is just a bit of cloth wrapped around his wrist. His usual clothes are a seeveless tunic that's very nearly black, with a V cut into the neck where laces crisscross. His pants are a light tan and close with a button flap and due to his dislike for being fitted for clothes, tend to hang a bit low on his hips. He wraps a harper blue sash around his arm when he's going about daily business. If it's not there than it's likely around his wrist. His riding jacket is the same dark colour as his tunic and lined with the grey fur of an unfortunate beast to keep him warm during his time between. He doesn't wear this often though, not unless he's on his dragon or it's cold out, because Liliath makes jokes about him looking like a runt runnerbeast in it, or more often a wherry.
Personality: Well-spoken and a bit of a joker, he was in training to be a harper before he was carried off to be a dragonrider. He wouldn't have minded being a harper in the least, but he would have never turned down the chance to be a dragonrider. He's polite and eager to please, but once someone manages to get him mad he's a hell of a firecracker. To his mother and the Harper hall he holds a definate loyalty, to his sisters he holds ties of kin, but he will forever stand up for them. His mother is his main source of strength and worry, and he writes to her often. He is and always has been a fair person, even before his training as a harper, and has a weakness for animals of any sort. One of those bleeding hearts that would throw a fit over someone mistreating a watchwher.

Name: Liliath Age: 5 Color: green. A darker green on her tips, like head, legs, tail and ends of wings, but fades lighter over her general body. She's on the smaller side at 21 feet but she makes up for it in speed. Personality: She acts slightly spoiled and just a bit haughty, but she's friendly and still a bit of a baby so she likes to be skritched and spoiled by her rider and anyone else she deems worthy. T'bell thinks she fancies herself a queen under all her green scales.

T'bell began his life as Tabellan, a Harper. His soprano voice earned him a place in the chorus until puberty hit. Upon then he was delegated to copying records and ballads, as well as manufacturing instruments as he awaited his walk of the tables from apprentice to journyman.
Forever the imp, he was adept at sneaking into the kitchen and thieving bubbly pies. Though, most of the young harper boys had the same skill. His prized instrument was a wood flute, which he doesn't tend to play very much anymore since he's so busy. He makes them far better than he plays them, and many earned the stamp needed to be sold in gathers.
Like most young boys Tabellan wanted nothing more than to be a dragon rider. One of his good friends was taken off on a search when he was only 10, and Tabellen was extremely jealous and envious of him. He regaled his mother, who taught him his skill with flutes, with his tales and wishes of being a dragon rider and she happily listened to them all.
From the day he saw Jakin return to the hall as J'kin on his blue dragon he was in complete awe and determined more than ever before that he too would be a rider. He was the leader in numerous fireliard hunts, nevermind that they all turned out unsuccessful. He played dragon games and watched in awe as the dragons seared the thread from the sky.
When the news came that there had been a clutch at Rias weyr Tabellan was the first to greet the dragons. He made sure to serve them food and drink and spend a lot of time with J'kin's dragon, since he heard blues were susceptible to potential candidates. The dragons left and he was heartbroken that he had not been taken with them, but lo and behold only a few days later J'kin himself returned to cart Tabellen off the the weyr.
Off to be a dragon rider. In the few days Tabellen spent at the weyr he was assaulted by the incredibly different atmosphere. At first he played games and told stories with the other candidates, but as the queen grew more fidgety, so did his trust in the other boys.
Soon all the others were to him was potential competition. He was not the worst among them of course, being one to shy away from confrontation most of the time, but the bigger and louder boys always were pushing and shoving the young and smaller ones around. He learned to stay out of their way and quickly became the mediator in most fights.
When the hum of the queen penetrated the weyr early one morning it was all hustle and bustle. Halfway before he even knew what was happening he found himself in white and being shoved down stairs to the hatching bowl with all the other people.
The crowd unnerved him at first, as he spread out amoung the candidates and they surrounded the eggs. They were all expecting so much. He could even see his moher in the stands...what would he do if he disappointed her? Could he stay here for the next impression? Could he bare to go back home dragonless?
The eggs began to crack and at once all the boys that had been shifting both from nerves and from the heat of the sand stood stone-still. The first to hatch was a brown, and it ambled off in the opposite direction. A bronze came, then another brown, a blue, more browns and bronzes, all going towards different people. He had the rising hope as a brown approached him, but it stumbled and caught the eye of a boy beside him and his hope was lost.
Then he looked to see a green hatchling wandering the sands, looking from boy to boy, even bumping into another dragon. He took a step forward, then another, then bent down to the dragons level and let out a quiet and high-pitched whistle, imitating the croons. The little green looked over at him.
Then he fell straight on his rump when something headbutted him from behind. He yelped at the hot sand and looked up into the swirling eyes of another green, the apparent offender.
My name is Liliath. A voice filled his mind as the dragon leaned over him. I'm hungry.
Impression was made.

Those who T'bell has met in his time at the weyr, and those who he keeps in contact with. NPCsMerida - His mother, residing in the harper hall as a Master craftswoman. They exchange letters regularly and she is always happy to hear from him.Tella - Sister who went into the smithcraft. Younger of the pair and posted in a hold with numerous herdbeasts and runners. She has two children.Teyra - Sister who's an acting journyman harper. Posted somewhere North, if he can remember correctly.J'kin - An old friend of his from the hall who had a talent with drums. He impressed blue Fenith, but both succumbed to the disease that swept the weyr. Liliath rose to mate his Fenith four times.CharactersSerina - The old weyr woman. A fine lady, if a bit intimidating, but a good woman for what he knew of her. He was sad to see her go.Ephia - Just as intimidating as Serina, and will likely make just as fine a weyrwoman in the future.V'lyrn - His wingleader. Not much else for nowKirana - Friendly girl, and good for conversation. A bit of a klutz with stairs, but trustworthy.Imirin - Friendly, and intriguing to boot. A curious man, but he makes interesting things despite his air of trickery.Lemurrin - Another fellow harper. Great for conversation, easy going and damned deserving of a dragon.L'cian - A fine brownrider of Tarlith, and wingsecond. Now the new Weyrleader. Hopefully he doesn't remember the greenrider put in charge of the feline hunt... Farin - A fellow greenrider of Moth. She seems strong, if a bit antisocial. She seems quite knowledgable and capable, a fine rider and dragon worthy of respect. K'rel - Wingsecond and brownrider of Siventh. Quiet and a bit withdrawn, but now...pulled into the mating flight.

Name: Task A blue eyed watchweyr, he was impressed by T'bell right out of the egg. He tends to be the more protective of the two, even leaping in front of Tabesk when he percieves danger. To help the sensitive whers' eyes T'bell has fashioned a sort of mask for them out of strips of material. This is leading to more docile behaviour as the two romp and play inside his lair. Task already seems to be the calmer of the two, and T'bell is looking forward to breeding the pair, since they came from different parents. Name: Tabesk Mottled gold Tabesk is a fiesty and playful wher compared to Tasks' more quiet personality. She's always first to pounce on him or T'bell looking for food or a scratch. T'bell is taking pains to introduce the pair to everyone he meets, whether through the scent of their clothing or through the scent of thier hand. Liliath is tolerating them with an air of annoyed bemusement as well as teaching them the 'ropes' as per T'bells request. She dislikes speaking to them, but T'bell has convinced her they will be good minions to her 'royalty'.

Pern is owned and copywrited by its author and creator Anne McCaffery. I claim no ownership to her genius, which has earned her much money and prestige. I only wish I manage to write something as brilliant and encompassing as her works one day in the future.
Kolina is the creator of this RP and the weyr, as well as her own characters and whatever plot concepts come up.
Art in this thread is copywrite the original owner, whether that is Kolina, merangue, or me. It should not be stolen, or else Liliath will eat you like the runt wherry you are. Seriously.
Character design and concept is copywrite to me, as is the written content of this journal. If you steal my writing or my concept I will hunt you down and flame you like thread.
The Dragonriders of Pern ® is registered U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, by Anne McCaffrey, used here with permission. Use or reproduction without a license is strictly prohibited.
That is all ^_^

All Chayse's depicted in these journals are seperate characters. I do not like mixing my pet universes, and so they are kept seperated.
Windigo Journal Detailing Demens, the aura, and his possession of Okugi on his journey to become the flesh-eating demon known as a Windigo
Kyendi Journal Detailing the exploits of Olly and Vyktor, to kunkuns, as well as their caretaker in the universe of Kyendi.
