Okie dokie. I'm not sure how but I managed to work out most of this role-play while I was getting my nails done XD *is talented like that*

Anyhoo.

Capri

Spore (working title) began as medical experiment to help in the fight against and hopefully the cure of cancer. Thought to have been a success it was widely used, administered across the country then eventually across the world. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. The cure became a killer.

Over the course of a week people began exhibiting animal like and uncontrolled behavior while their bodies decomposed. More than half of Earth's population was wiped out.

Now, 250 (so role-play opens in 2257) later, the human race has begun to bounce back. There are those that had never taken the cure and those that were immune to its effects, now their descendants live in (insert country name), a Utopia compared to the Earth of decades before.

Spore lived on however, growing and mutating very slowly and unknown in the descendants of those that were immune. It has given its hosts powers that existed only on data discs and movies. There are many that fear these people, and with good reason, and have sent them to Embry Medical Center. Many do not return...

But E.M.C is not as it seems on the surface.

That is in essence what this role-play is intended to be about and I believe a lot of it will be surrounding E.M.C's medics and the students of Howard Heritage High (Triple H).

Well here is a bit of the Storyline thus far.

Five years after S.P.O.R.E. was discovered, scattered reports of anomalies started to appear. By that time, 90% of the population had been treated with S.P.O.R.E. at one point during their lives. There were people who refused S.P.O.R.E. treatments and those who appeared to be immune to its effect. In 2015, the world nearly ended. Scattered reports turned into global effect. Within one week, over 60% of people treated with S.P.O.R.E. began to show significant mutations. The first noticeable strand of mutations were the mongrels. Rapid devolution of the body into a primal state led to animalistic behavior. It gave people a first hand look at what cavemen might have been like. The mutants grew fangs, like some of our primate cousins. Their posture and limbs began to look more apelike. Shortly after a second large strand of mutations began to appear, more horrific than the mongrels. Dubbed the stalkers, these poor souls suffered from horrible degenerated bodies, almost resembling rotting corpses. The process appeared to leave the person in a state of complete madness, which in the end might be best given the state of their bodies. Driven by madness and instinct these creatures displayed highly aggressive behaviour to wards anything but other stalkers. Due to loss of pigmentation, they avoided sunlight. It was the time when the great cities of mankind were no more than ghost towns. Deserted by anyone not afflicted by S.P.O.R.E., the large population centers were home only to mutations and stranded survivors.

S.P.O.R.E is an acronym, I forgot the little dots when creating it as I hadn't found a meaning that loved at the time. It stands for Sequenced Prime Organic Recombination Enzyme. Its components are natural, from plants and whatnot which is supposed to make it easier to absorb into the body. Only those that received the injections in the past and their descendants in the future carry it.

This is the list of powers that immune characters can display. You will notice that some of the abilities can evolve while others do not.
However, because your power does not evolve does not mean that it doesn’t grow.
Powers evolve at the character’s pace, it is expected that only a few will have advanced control of their powers as the longest anyone has their power is three years and are usually untrained. Most will have their powers only about six months to one year.
Also, as an ability is chosen it may or may not be available for a time and after an ability is chosen its description and if it evolves will be posted.
