Misty-green eyes blinked once, taking in the pinks and oranges and reds and blues of the sunrise. Pastels danced and twirled and shifted and melted together to form the serene scene. The stallion couldn't help but snort at the obvious contrast between the sight and himself, minus the light blue socks of his father and grandmother and green optics from the same genes if his memory served correctly.
How long had it been since he'd last seen the eyes of his kin? A while, that much he was certain of. Not that it was a shock, he liked to wander and travel and was sure others of his blood were the same. Didn't he have an uncle he'd never met before? But then, the unnamed uncle and Marius didn't especially like each other, now did they?
Jaci thought on this supposed fact, taking soon into consideration his own relationship with his own brother. Which was... did he even have a relationship with his brother? There was a dumbing thought.
His hooves shifted in the slowly melting snow in which he stood, slightly nippy winds playing in his mane and tail from the open expanse beyond the cliff from where he took his vantage point. Perhaps he should find his siblings again. A nice little meet'in'greet was always acceptable... right?

It was really rather... Sad, when he thought about it. Belial, though shy, had a relatively easy time getting along with others. There was nothing a smile couldn't fix, or a polite hello. At least, it always seemed that way when he didn't think about his family.
Maharet, his skittish sister, had been afraid of him since the first day she stepped from her basket. Any relationship between them was simply being related by blood. He couldn't say he was close to her, knew her favorite color or time of day. All he could say about his sister was that she was afraid of him, and that was it. He had tried multiple times to make a bridge between Maharet and himself... But maybe it was because of the fear of failure this bridge was never finished.
And then there was Jaci. He never knew much about Jaci, except that he never seemed too pleased with either of his siblings. A sigh slipped past Belial's lips as he walked slowly through the melting snow, pink eyes barely registering how his hooves made a print in what was left. He was on his way to the cliff he had spotted once. It looked like a nice place to take a gander around.
It was also very mcuh like the place where Aquene took him. The thought of the soft pink mare made his sense more aware. His ears perked as he lifted his head to look up at the edge where he was headed. He expected to see Aquene, just perhaps from memory, but instead saw someone completely different.
Jaci.
