i think if we want to increase popularity we need to get more active members and affiliate with other guilds so we can get more members from other guilds

How about some games?
I mean hosted games. Sure, you have crew-only games, but what about the little people? Let's face it. If you have crew-only games, then people who are already members will try to become crew members. People who have not joined won't join if they think it's too hard to become a crew member or see nothing for them to waste their time on. That's what games are for.
So, how about a game of chance? 20 people send in 500 gold each, totaling 10k. They get a number, 1 through 21, and the person whose number matches the drawn number (from the random number generator) wins 10k. If the one unused number is picked, everyone gets their money back. Your chances of not loosing are 2/21. What do you think?
