In VOTD the theme has been altered. I personally love the new theme because it has a bit of the 80's Who theme. My only complaint: where was this theme for Time Crash? Haven't heard it watch it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knSfay5-SsI mrgreen

I thought it was really really good! I like it for this, but I still love the regular one too.. I think they should use this/some new theme for specials, but keep the regular one for the main series. ^^

Really not that keen on it. It sounded a bit like the old 80s one to me...
No doubt it'll grow on me by the end of Series 4.

Yeah, I noticed that also- it's a nice addition, definitely less orchestral than the previous arrangement but still pleasant to the ears.
LOL. I'm one of those nerds who actually bought the soundtrack and listens to the theme constantly. D:

Its not exactly turned into a Britney Spears song or anything!
I mean I didnt even really notice it was different till I went on here *possibly due to Tennant anticipation..* but still... Even if you think its worse.. it cant be that much worse or that much better cos its not that different!
Personally I like it abit more.. *Is in love with synthesisers at the moment*
but yeah. rolleyes

UUmmm... I don't know what to say to those who say it's like the Eighties...
The 'New' Theme is MORE orchestral, with more beats in the background, extra levels of orchestra, and did you know the first theme was made from a 1960s Synthesizer? Try a real orchestra and part SFX
