[ ] You Are a Little a**l Retentive

Okay, so you're occasionally uptight, but it's not like you fill your day with little OCD rituals. You just like to exercise a little control over your life, and that's usually a good thing. As long as you limit your a**l retentive ways to your own behavior, you're not annoying anyone. Deep down, most people are exactly like you.

[ ] Oh really? What do you tend to be OCD over, if you don't mind me asking? We just got done learning about the mental disorders in my psychology class and I find that stuff interesting. [ ]

Well, I'm OCD, ADD, and dyslexic. xd
Well ... one thing I'm OCD over is my closet. I need all white hangers or I can't hang up my clothes, everything is color coded like the rainbow, darkest to lightest in each single color, of course, and everything is sectioned. Also, if something sounds wrong, it really bugs me, really. I can tell if something is slightly out of pitch in music, and bad grammar kills me, not on the level of a normal annoyance; pronounce it right, or I'll ... well it depends. I can't think of anything else specific off the top my my head, but despite the fact that I'm a slob and can handle a mess, I can't handle little specs out of place; one strand of gray hair, one little piece of dandruff, a spec of lint on clothes. If I vacum, I have to get everything off the carpet. Even the little piece of visible dirt. If I can't, I will have to pick it off.
I'm ADD, not ADHD, even though I'm hyperactive a lot, but that's just my personality. I can't focus a lot of the time, sometimes I can't read. Well, I can read something out loud, but my brain will have not of picked anything off the paper and I will have no idea of anything that I just read. I have to get people to read things to me sometimes, if I can't focus my brain. I can sit for hours and fall out of focus when I'm supposed to be doing something like homework, sometimes that gets combined with procrastination, which is not good. xP I have focus issues.
I am dyslexic. My brain likes to blank things out in the picture sent from my eyes. I could look for something forever, and when I finally ask someone, it turns out I'm standing next to it. Recently, I asked my mom where the ironing board was, after walking upstairs, coming back down, and going in a few rooms. It turned out that I was standing about two inches away from it. I also mix up words too, though, getting letters wrong, reading something not even close that what it really is. The not being able to read thing, from the ADD, also might have to do with dyslexia, but I don't think so as much. I'm dyslexic with numbers, things like math, I have to learn differently, usually. I'm a kinesthetic learner. If I wasn't dyslexic, I'd probably be an audio learner.

[ ] Wow, thanks for the response!
I get the feeling that I might be dyslexic or something because I have problems with talking. I see words in my head before I typically say them, but no matter how carefully I try to speak, I get a jumble of words to come out half of the time or I'll even mix up words in sentences that I've drawn out multiple times in my head. I think I'm going to try looking into it more. [ ]

I've never heard of that type of dyslexia, but it may very well be. There's a million different ways to have it. I have the same problem sometimes, too. I can never tell a story.

[ ] If it's not dyslexia, it could always be something else. I dunno. It's just something that I've noticed that bothers me. [ ]

I say "like" a lot. I roll my eyes around when I talk, too. I recorded my self talking about Avatar once, an I almost never look directly at the camera for more than three seconds. ninja

Eye contact doesn't make me uncomfortable, I just talk and look in a million directions. Sometimes, it's like I constantly roll my eyes.

I don't notice when I do it, until I watch myself on a recording, or someone points it out. One time, I was just like ... yeah, and I rolled my eyes around. And the kid I was talking to was like ... yeah, and he rolled his eyes around. And then I was like ... shut up, that's how I talk. dramallama
