"I don't care if you're all grown up, you're staying!" Pa was just getting on his nerves. How dare Copper make Bly stay, he was older now! He couldn't possibly be swooped up by a hawk or swallowed by a bear now. He didn't need protection. "You can't keep me cooped up with you forever. You're so controlling!" Bly yelled back in his father's face and stormed away without another word. They had been fighting about the same subject for a few days now and Bly was tired of it. He ignored his father's demands for him to come back. He didn't have to listen to him now. Of course he'd go back later, but today he was free. Whether Copper liked it or not. As Bly crossed a river and the wind came up he soon forgot all about his father. "It's cold!" he said out loud but simply stood there looking around. He didn't realize that his legs were cold because he was standing in water and soon he was used to the icy feeling. He watched the clouds roll slowly by with a slight smile on his face. His eyes seemed to be glazed over in a dreamy state as they usually were.

{{pictures on <3}} Tolavan groaned as she pushed the basket along the forest, sge couldnt bare another word of her mother telling her how she couldnt wait for the basket to open. Frankly, tolavan didnt reall care WHEN the basket open, she just wanted it open, and soon. Her mind began to wander as she traveled around for a bit. Tolavan glanced up to see a stallion, in the river. She tiltedher head, what the hell was he doing? She glanced at his colord fur, and the way he was standing in te river, she snarled, it reminded her the day she had met copper. She slowly, and quietly, pushed her basket lightly ahead and layed down. In cuiosity she watch the stallion.
He seemed stunned as he just sat there in the water. Tolavan just rolled her eyes, and watched the basket wiggle around aimlessly listening to the river. She huffed quietly, what the hell had she gotten herself into? Finaly she couldnt take it, "What in God's name are you doing standing in a river, at this weather? You might freeze to death."

((M'kay. x3))
Bly started and then looked at her with wide eyes. But then he saw the basket. A grin slowly found its way to his face and he bounded out of the water towards the wiggling little thing. He layed down beside the mare assuming she was friendly and lightly nosed the basket. "Boy, pa would love to see this!" he said and giggled. Bly looked up at Tolavan. "It looks kinda like you!" he pointed out. Like his father he was a sucker for small things. Especially baskets. Even if he knew little about them. "When's it gonna come out?" he asked happily and looked at the mother. She seemed oddly familiar in a way.

Tolavan mearly glanced at the stallion whom sat down next to her, with out even a hello. She bite her lip not to start scolding him for just barging towards her and her basket. With a heavy sigh she blinked, "Obviously, your parents taught you no manners." She frowned slightly, she hated when people just came towards her. Tolavans eyes glnaced to the basket when he nosed it, now he was touching her basket? Oh boy, what a gentelmen. She glanced at him, "And you look like someone I hate. yet I am not bothering you about this. By the way, who are your parents?" She coughed quietly, and watched as he seemed so intreaged in her basket. Tolavan shrugged her shoulders, feeling annoyed with his questions. She rolled her eyes, "If only I knew. I wouldnt have to take care of it all day."

She was obviously not as nice as she looked. Bly back away from her and the basket so as not to anger her. He said nothing to her. He only blinked dumbly. He'd forgotten what she'd said to him. He did this often and he figured maybe if he stayed quiet she'd repeat her statements. He thought maybe she had asked his name. "I'm Bly," he said and looked from her to the basket. "You're scary," he pointed out. She did somewhat discomfort him.

Tolavan watched as the stallion blinked stupidly, oh boy oh boy she was stcuk with a moron. She calmed herself for a couple moments as she then looked as her basket was scooting closer to this over grown foal. Tolavan raised a brow, seemed to like the poking, she mearly shook her head. No matter, its not like the basket would hatch anyway. Flipping her mane she smiled a bit, "Thank you. it's hard to be scary." She stood up as she though of water, she was thirsty after all, and this bly fellow had gotten in her way of getting water. "So Bly, as I ask again, your parents are whom? No matter. Tell me after I get water. Watch my basket." Slowly Tolavan took her time to get her water, wondering what the stallion would do seeing as he had just been left with her basket. If only he wasnt so stupid.

"Alright. Watch my basket. I mean watch your basket..." Bly said. He sat down like a dog and glued his eyes to the basket without blinking. This job was a little hard though because the little thing moved so much. To keep himself from looking away he sang quietly. "Basket, basket, pretty basket." he had made his own dumb words and kept repeating them over and over again in a sing-song voice. Then he went to humming. Soon his face was at level with the basket and he poked it lightly with a grin on his face. He stopped humming and started giggling.

((Ohhh! My basket hatched xD I have an idea!!!!!))
Tolavan listened to him sing to her basket, what a great thing he was doing, NOT. She twiched her tail in annoyance, but he seemed to be enjoying himself. She coughed quietly as she bent down to get a drink of water, listening to the water rushing, ignoring the stallion for a moment. She enjoyed the quiet of the forest, not wanting to have to her Bly singing to her basket. Tolavan got a shiver for some odd reason, she looked back to see her basket shuffling more then usual. Her brown eyes grew wide, "Bly. STOP SINGING!"
The basket shuffled around more and more, trying to lift the top of the lid open. It jumped a bit and a muzzle popped out of the top, then came a hoof, a leg, then a body. Slowly came out a little foal, he shook out his light brown fur. Looking towards Bly with his purple eyes he smiled, "HI! Are you my daddy?!" Then the foal tried to walk around, then looked at the mare. He took in her dark brown fur, and her stripes. His smiled widened, "MOMMA!" He walked on his wobbly legs and smiled to Tolavan," Whats my name?!"
Tolavan just looked down in awe, "Fernando?"

Bly seemed not to notice the basket's movement until Tolavan told him to stop singing. "Wh--" he stopped in mid-word and stared at the little foal that had appeared from the basket. His eyes widened and he stared. The foal asked if he was his father...Well...How could Bly say no to that? In fact Bly didn't think one bit before he said, "Yes." He blinked at Tol. "Why Fernando? I'm his father, don't I get a say in this?" He was completely clueless that he was not at all the foal's father and he had no idea that Tolavan and the real father would probably eat him alive for saying so. "Look at him walk...I'm so proud." Tears came to the great idiot's eyes as he watched 'his son' wobble towards Tolavan. What would Pa think?
((LMAO. He's such an idiot!))

Tolavan looked to Bly, had he just said he was the father of the basket?! She blinked at him and looked down to Fernand in utter shock. hat stupid stallion had said he was the father, and she had no idea who the real father was, maybe this would work. she bit her lip and looked to Bly, "Because it was a name of a great sailor, wouldnt you like him to be named that?" She smiled to Bly, until fernando looked away as she shot him a glare almost saying, you got yourself into this, your going to be his 'dad' now. She looked to Fer and smiled, "why dont you try and walk around down towards the river sweetie." When Fernando left she looked at Bly and sighed, "Look, I have no cue who the real father is, and since you just said you were his father, would you please just help me raise him..."
Fernando smiled at his mom, then to his 'dad' and looked up. "Fernando? I like my name! Oh look a butterfly!" He smiled and followed it around until his mother told him to go down to he river. He nodded and wobbled over to the river.

Bly smiled and watched Fernando wander around. When Tolavan explained the name he looked back at her. "Oh. Yes. Good name." Bly nodded in agreement with a content look on his face. He hadn't noticed her earlier glares and he had no idea she was angry with him. "What do you mean you don't know the real father? I am the real father. Of course I'll help you raise him, why wouldn't I raise my own son?"
All of this was very confusing to Bly. "Ooo! Butterfly." he too chased after it for a while, just like Fernando had. When he could no longer reach it because it was so high up he stood and watched it with that glazed look in his eyes. Then he saw his son. "Fernandoooo!" he called in a high pitched voice and trotted giddily towards the little colt.

Tolavan couldnt help but laugh, he seemed to be so wrapped up his emotions that he actually thought he was the father. She glanced to Fernando whom was chasing a butterfly. She looked to Bly before he got up, "Ah Bly, ok so we are ok with Fernando then ey?" She shook her mane lightly and sighed in a bit of confusion seeing as bly decided that he was the new real dad of Fernando. She nuzzled Bly before he ran to chase the butterfly and then backed up and bowed, "Uhm sorry...just wanted to say thank you and all." She lookde o fernando as he ran around.
Fernando chased the butterfly and jumped and tried to catch the flying menous. he watched his dad and started to laugh as they tried to catch the butterfly. His eyes turned to the river as he noticed a fish, "HEY A FISH!!!!!!!" Fernando trotde over towards the lake and watched the fish swim and then followed down the stream. The foal smilde, "Pretty!"

Bly smiled at Tolavan. "Thanks for what?" he asked with a somewhat confused look on his face. When his son pointed out a fish he ran to see. "That's not a fish you silly! It's a water bird!" He nodded and watched the thing move around as well. "OOO...Shinyyy." He looked at Fernando and nudged him lightly. "Let's go back to your ma. She misses you! I'll race 'ya!" he said and bounced up and down. He liked having a son. It was fun! Then he realized he didn't know what the mare's name was. "Maaaaaa! What's your name?" he asked before getting ready to race Fernando.

Tolavan shrugged at his question then watched Bly take off after there son She tilted her head and gave a snort of confusion as she heard them talking. Shrugging to herself she layed on the ground, letting the wind go through her mine and tail. The brown eyes glanced down to the ground as the mare whom they belonged to tried to find the quiet which was hard to find since her baby and his dad were screwing around. Tolavan closed her eyes before she heard Bly ask her name. She hadnt said her name? Was she really that stupid. She opened one eye, "it's Tolavan, remember." She didnt want fernando to think that his dad didnt know her name. She rested her head down and sighed, "Wait no racing to me!"
Fernando looked to whta he thought was his father, "A water bird? But...it dosent have wings! Birds fly dont they? That thing is swimming!" The foal leaned in to get a closer look, then got splashed a bit by the fishing jumping from the water and back into the river. 'Nando smiled, "WHOA!!!" He jumped a bit. ignoring his father, then looked up to Bly, "A race to mama? Ok! Loser is a rotten egg!" The overly excited foal croched in postion to get his starting as he quickly said, "1,2,3 ok go!" he slowly sped towards his mother, picking up his hooves and sprinting as fast as he could, because he dident want to be a rotten egg!

"Tolly Tolly Tolavannn!" Bly sang and raced slowly after his son towards the mare. He let Fernando win. He may have been an idiot but he knew to let little ones win. It was so cute to see them happy! "Aw. I'm a rotten egg. Doesn't your ma have a pretty name? Tolavan." he said randomly when they both reached her. He layed down next to her with an overly happy expression on his face. "Come on! Group huuuggg!" he called and nuzzled Tolavan. "Oooo. Pa's gonna be so happy he's a grandpa!" he said suddenly and almost wet himself from the excitement. He slowly slipped into a daydream about what his father would think about him having a son. But the daydream turned into a nightmare and he gasped suddenly, his happy facial expression gone.
