Your illustration work is excellent. I just finished taking an illustration class and everything we did was in traditional. One of my favorite classes. I'm assuming you use mixed mediums? Very nice, especially like the Statue of liberty one lol.

Your illustration work is excellent. I just finished taking an illustration class and everything we did was in traditional. One of my favorite classes. I'm assuming you use mixed mediums? Very nice, especially like the Statue of liberty one lol.
For the most part its all acrylic. I use a transfer technique here and there, but other than that it is paint only.

For the most part its all acrylic. I use a transfer technique here and there, but other than that it is paint only.
Acrylics? Very nice. Some of them have a terped prisma color like feel to them. I've played with acrylics, though I need to dabble in that medium more. Hmm...

lol you say it so nicely. xD I have orderless turpentine so I don't get that. And I only did terps once, turned out real nice. But everyones got their own preference.

Tell me a little bit about working with acrylics. I haven't done that since middle school, and even then I watered them down to hell and back and just used them like ink washes.

That is actually how I work. I work in washes. I usually do a blue underpainting and then do washes over it.

That is actually how I work. I work in washes. I usually do a blue underpainting and then do washes over it.
That's fascinating. It looks very distinctive, in a good way.
