I have an acoustic lying around, but I play Viola. I love it. It's great to let loose on. You can play such contrasting things on it. You can play a love ballot that soft and lovely or a War type song thats Bold and exciting, or you can play a fun little spritzy song thats lively and just energizing ^_^ Plus Violas rule!!! Everyone knows this. 3nodding xd heart heart heart heart

It is, this year we're(my orch) performing the Overture to Reinzi, New World symph Movements 1 & 4, and Bach's Mein Jesu heart heart I love those pieces, we're playing some others that I don't care about (ie Magic FLute) ubt then we were suppose to play cool songs that we aren't crying (ie Jupiter, and West Side Story melee)

O_o Anyways, I dont know what those peices are you're talking about because I've never been in a band or orchestra, and never really wanted to be. But that sounds nice anyways. 3nodding

Reinzi is an Opera, and we are playing the overture which is the opening to it. It's by Richar Wagner, one of the most profound and well known composers, Romantic Period(or POst Romantic or CRAP! so much for Music Comp huh?? whee sweatdrop ). Anyways thihs was from his early stuffage adn its cool and has lots of brass stuff and low tones etc.
New World Symphony, is Symph # 9(?) by Dvorak(pronounced Di vorge ock). It's Kind of a 20th century Natiolists peiece about America, but he's European which is odd, but I like this was pre-20th cen. Not sure again. I Oassed music comp, but forgot everything. An then Mein Jesu(my Jesus) is originally for an Organ, but transcribed for Strings only. Its soft, long, and hard to play if you don't count. BUT, its lovely. It was written about Jesus and his time in the Garden before Judas turned him over to Roman authorities.
Magic Flute is a gay and easy Mozart piece which I hate. ( SERIALISM IS BETTER ANY DAY OVER CLASSICAL or anything, but second vietnamese school rox the sox off the first one) sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop yeah.....I get excited about music somtimes

I don't really think that UH is supposed to be there though, I always assume people who use it put it in to seperate the D and the V, which may be hard to pronounce together if you don't speak Slovakian.

That's the way my conductors say. I don't know. But I have a bit of a language problem anyway so I can't really say anything in concreate about pronunciation whee sweatdrop
