The brittle crunch crunch of ice covered snow beneath his hooves seemed to beat out his pulse after the day's journey. Naked trees and brush were sparsely draped in white, the intervals of vicious winds having ripped most of it from their branches long since before his brief arrival. Now was a time of aerial peace, though his cheeks still stung from the onslaught not ten minutes prior. Ten minutes... the last Peace Period was... to judge the sun, a half-hour? Of course taking into consideration his movement... yes, a half-hour. Which was longer than the one before that... so, unless he found shelter before then, he had over thirty minutes to prepare for the bitter cold again.
Milky-green eyes drifted over the scenery around him, barely interested in the world's pitiful state. He found nothing good came from winter. Blinding white everywhere due to the sun's reflection off its surface, death in the plant life almost everywhere you turned... nothing good could or would ever come from this damnable season. Never mind the cold. Ick. No thanks.
So he walked on. Searching for... entertainment? That was a hands-down constant. But beyond that? Food? Water? Basics for survival, yes, so it'd make sense to search for them. Warmth? Of weather? Yes, that would be wonderful right about now. Anything else? The stallion tossed his head to the air, bloody mane dancing.
"What else could I possibly need?"

Adsila walked upon the sinking snow as her hoofs crunched into the ice. Her eyes pierced over at a near by Stallion, that caught her attention. He didn't seem familiar, but he surely looked friendly. But then again, you cant judge someone by just their looks.
She smiled as she slowly walked over to the male, flickering her tail along the way. It was nice seeing someone around. "Why hello there."

Jaci blinked, slightly alarmed by the sudden appearance of the mare. He hadn't even heard her hoofbeats in the snow -was he so lost in thought?
Shaking his head ever so slightly to clear the thoughts, he bowed his head in respectful greeting upon coming to a stop before her. "Greetings, miss." Straightening, he cocked his head to the side, brow raised in question. "Pardon me for my boldness... but why are you out here on your own? This land isn't exactly forgiving this time of year."
It wasn't that he believed her incapable of defending herself if need be, but the life of a hermit didn't seem very befitting one such as she. Or perhaps that was just his own views from where he stood. It wasn't like he knew anything about her, after all. And yet, at first glance... he couldn't really picture her up against a bear or Kalona or other such dangers.

Adsila blinked at his reply. She had never thought about the dangers she could come across, although she had been okay so far. "Oh? I just thought I should get some fresh air, and possibly meet someone.. Thats all.." She said politely, her tail flickering. He seems nice, she thought to herself.

He smiled lightly, nodding his head in acceptance. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make such an outing be so... dangerous, simply that winter terrain isn't my first pick when searching for company."
His ears twitched to attention, erect and aware and a fine representation of his mood. After all, why wouldn't he be in a more uplifted mood right now? He'd ran across someone new, and was having what might turn out to be an interesting conversation! He couldn't find much wrong with this picture, nope nope.
"But you seem to be in fine health, so my concern was unneeded, I'm glad to see. I'm Jaci, by the way, miss."

Adsila bowed her head. "Ah, I see.." She replied with a soft smile. After all, she hasnt met many Soquili, so she thought it'd be good to get out and about.
"Hehe, im glad.. Its nice to meet you, Jaci. Im Adsila." She said with a grin.
