Okay I have heard of alot of people bashing Lee and I don't get it.
I mean he is awesome besides the bushy eyebrows and stuff.

I think it is the inconsistency of the character. The constant changing from the Drunken Comedic Relief guy to the Serious Almost-Emo Hero with Nothing to Lose. This, however, is what actually makes him my favorite character. People can only see him as a comic relief because of his appearance. They expect someone that looks like him to stay in the predestined category. Unfortunately, since Naruto looks like the "normal anime character" he has the privellege of going bad-a** and not lose ratings.

At first I didn't like him, but I started liking him a lot more as the show progressed. I wanna see him get drunk in Shippuuden...

I always thought Lee was awesome. Sure he isn't "beautiful", but he's awesome.

I don't know why people hate him. Everyone is different, so thay all have their preferences. Rock Lee is one of my favorite characters in Naruto.
