Orange sunburst back and tan fur moved with a hurried pace, the male that lived inside the pelt was running from things unseen, but heard. He had dodged the birthright for only a short time before they finally caught up to him.
"Damn that red male and his voices!" he snarled tripping on a jutting rock that scrapped his ankle as Erjon stumbled down to the rocks before his make-shift den.
Why do you not like us?
You need to kill something to feel better. Well if nothing else it would make me feel better.
"Shut UP!" he howled clawing at his face and ears at the two voices that were calling out to him.
NO, you will love us like we love you. This voice was the kindest, well besides another to come, that the orange and tan male had at the moment.
Who needs love you hippy! Blood is the cure for anything. Too bad voices don't bleed, other wise you would be gushing.
Why do you two always argue? Come on. Life is better hunting and not listening to non-sense like you!
Erjon rammed his head into the limestone wall beside him trying to stop the conversation going on inside his head. "Why won't you leave me alone?" he whimpered, blood oozing from his tattered orange tipped ears and his left front ankle.

Padding aimlessly through the forest, watching the trees pass by slowely. Kato the earthy wolf kept his head low and his ears back against his head.
He had no place of destitation but kept gonig anyway, he listened to the sounds of nature. His home was no where in sight but he didn't care, he would often change dens and places to fit his needs.
He lifted his head and listened, hearing a loud rather uneasy thumping. He started towards the sound, letting his curisoty overcome him.
Kato noticed a wolf with brown and orange fur, who was rammnig his head into a large piece of limestone. He was bleeding pretty badly and looked as though he was gonig to kill himself.
"You know you might want to stop that" she barked at him

"You know you might want to stop that", he heard someone bark out to him.
With a pained growl, the bloody wolf lifted his jade eyes over to look upon another. He, unlike that other red creature called Fet, knew the difference between voices and wolves...sometimes.
Ooohh, Erjon it's a new friend.
Kill him and go about beating us out of your head!
"I know, will you all shut it," the male growled to himself. Head swaying back and forth with the major headach he had just given himself. The smell of his own blood tickling his nostrols.
Ah, that sweet scent. I'm content I don't know about you guys.
Erjon is bleeding and you don't care. YOU'RE MEAN!
SHUT UP! I'm saying it for him.
Out of all the voices, the one with logic was Erjon's favorite for now. If a wolf such as himself could chose between liking the voices or not. Maybe one day he, like his mother, would name them as well.
"It might be wise for one not touched by voices to continue on. Otherwise you may obtain them."
Ah, share us with him. He look lonely as well.
The small voice pleaded. "No," he growled curling up one side of his mouth snarling at the voices he only heard.

'He's talknig to himself out loud?' he thought 'he must be in need of some major help'
Kato looked at the wolf and came closer "Hey can you hear me?" he lifted hs paw and nudged the wolf slightly hopnig that he wouldn't fall over compleatly.
The orange wolf was bleeding badly and was obisouly woosy from the masss amounts of hit he took.
He hoped that he wouldn't have to get help for the dumb wolf, the nearest was at least a mile down the mountain.
Glancing up at the sky he guessed that the sun had about 5 more hours in the sky before it started its decend into the night time. He didn't want to be out in the pen for dangerous wolves to find.

Ears pinned back Erjon just listened to his voices bickering in his head. The tan and orange male remember his mother and her voices, she didn't have this problem with them. They had agreed with her, or manipulated her to kill his younger brothers and then go for him.
Head down low and lips back down concealing the sharp fangs, jade eyes looked up to the other that asked an obvious question. Stepping back into sitting down, Erjon gave a low mutter, "Yes, I can hear you...slightly."
Nose almost touching his knees as he spoke this out loud, though his left paw lifted above the ground and blood dripping slowly down onto the rocks at his paws. Erjon's head was throbbing and with the throbbing the voices were dulling. Pain was a way to shut up the voices he had found when the first one started up.
"I don't see many others up here, I guess your new to this area then." Erjon stated able to feel his warm blood trickling down his cheeks, and eyeing the odd pelt before him.

Satisified with the answer Kato nodded "yes i am new i travel often to new places"
He Noticed the wolf eyeing him and got slightly defensive. it was obious he had never seen a green wolf before, he sighed and stood up
Howls echoed through the sky signaling that night was comming, Kato listened but didn't really pay attention.
He sniffed the air for a den to spen the night in but fonud nothing. He glanced back at the orange wolf "Whats your name" he asked

Licking the wounded left ankle Erjon's headach was in full blown throbbing. Through the pulsing in his ears he barely made out the other's answer, but at least the voices were quite.
However, with the pulsating headache, Erjon's vison was becoming blurred and he eyed the other trying to stop the swirling before him. Not caring if death took the tan male in its jaws, Erjon laid down beside the rock he sat next to. Shaking his head just a bit, so not to harm his brain more, the orange sunbursted male tried to clear his vision.
As the echoes of others' howls the orange tipped ears fell back. So loud the calls of night were, thankfully his den wasn't far from where he laid. Lost in his intended pain, but freedom, when the other asked for his name, Erjon almost didn't hear him.
Blinking the jade eyes turned back towards the other, "I'm Erjon, who are you?"

Perking his ears back up he listened for a moment. Kato could tell that Erjon was badly hurt and i need of some help.
Sighing he came back to his senses just in time to hear the question at hand "Kato" he said plainly "do you want some help? i could carry you back down to your den"
Kato knew that he might pass out from excessive blood loss, and he didn't want that to happen.
His green fur shimmered slightly as the light hit it, he glanced up again. It would soon be dark and Kato wanted to be in a safe den.

Erjon looked up to Kato, "No, I do have some dignity left. That is something that they haven't completely stripped from me yet." He replied and struggled to stand back up.
He did have alot of blood on his pelt, but that was the cost of walking with the voices yammering about inside his head, and his wounds were already scabbing over. "Do you have a den nearby?" he questioned with his head low and testing his paws with his weight on all but his left ankle.

Kato watched him struggle and felt bad, he stood up just incase the wolf fell to the ground.
He caught his eyes for a moment and shook his head "No, i belong to no pack, so i have no home" He explained almost with a sad tone in his voice
Kato had never belonged to a pack as far as he can remember, he wandered and moved from place to place to where ever food was. He'd longed for a home and friends but wasn't so lucky as to be granted that wish.

Erjon felt his weight on his paws and once the ground had stopped moving under him, the tan paws moved forward in one stumbling step, but he stayed up right. Jade eyes moved back to the green wolf.
"I don't offer much to others, they all look at us like we're unbalanced," The 'us' he was talking about was all wolves with voices, it wasn't their fault for being cursed and surly not a single wolf was perfect.
"But, if you can get past my talking to myself, then follow me to my den. It's an abandoned bear cave." so in other words, good size for about four wolves to fit in it comfortably. Though it only ever held Erjon and his three current voices.

Wind blew about them and Kato nodded slightly in response "You have voices don't you?" he asked Erjon aquaderly, it was a very personaly question and wouldn't understand if he didn't want to tel him.
Kato knew that this orange wolf wasn't one for friends and probally often alone, he probally had a pack but stayed clear of them. Kato sighed and followed Erjon to the den he had spoken of.

Erjon didn't even look back towards Kato when he answered the next personal question. "No, not at all, I just like talking to myself and inflicting pain to just get bloody." He response was a mutter and once he had spoke, the tan wolf stopped and looked back to the green one behind him.
"I'm sorry, you're the first actual wolf I've spoke to since I ran into another like myself," Why was he giving up all this information, hell the other didn't even ask about his past. Maybe being lonely, or talking to your curse of a birthright, had a tug on ones vocal cords.
"Excuse me for yammering," he stated finally starting to descend to his den which he could actually see the hollow hole from where he walked.

Fast thought wizzed through the mind of Kato, he was still trying to figure this young wolf out. So far he had bashed his head to pieces and still said he was fine.
Brought back to reality he shook his head "its no big deal" he said plainly glancing ahead to the wolf's den, it looked large from here and surly had room enough for half a pack.

Erjon was in major need of some rest now, the throbbing migraine that was his new burden, he looked at the other again, almost disbelievingly. Where did this wolf come from? Not anywhere near where he was born that was forsure.
After all those like Erjon were banished and only ever had offspring if they found another like themselves or got violated. Walking on his three good legs Erjon just strolled up to the den and disappeared inside.
"Do you have a destination to go to?" The wolf was just trying to get a feel for Kato, after all. Maybe his voices would behave if there was another actual wolf to speak with.
