I first saw this on the front of a magazine (and unfortunately didn't get the magazine *sulk* ) and there is going to be a doctor who video game for playstaion nintendo pc etc, and I was so excited I nearly hugged the nearest person (they would have been seriously freaked!!) Anyway, I googled it and heres a link with some info: (any more info welcomed!!) http://uk.gamespot.com/news/6175901.htmlI've been wanting there to be a DW console game for AGES and FINALLY ones coming out!!!!! I mean - theres so much scope for a game - a great story line, fighting enemies etc and scope for loads of minigames, i mean come on - imagine if you could FLY THE TARDIS!!!!!!!! *swoon* The only thing - its gonna have to be great I mean we've been wating for SOOOOOOOOOOOOO long!!!!! and after all that it's going to be some sort of card game..... I should have actually READ the link before getting so excitied crying

And my birthday is upcoming.. I know what will top the lists forever.. *grins*
-reads article- .... it's gonna be a freaking CARD GAME?!? WHYYY???? stressed gonk gonk not necessarily.......just "closely in connection with top trumps......" which i suppose does kinda mean card game.... crying But there is still a glimmer of hope!!!!! Not much is known yet......... EDIT: and i just realise what i put in the quote wasnt actually in the article but its along the lines......

A FREAKING CARD GAME.
I was soooo happy when I saw this... well, if it sells well, they'll make a real one... well, I hope so!!!!
It says by the holiday season, well, they only have to get it done by last month and it'll be on time!
Stupid card game. Why can't it be something like Mario Galaxy. That would be amazing.

Yeah, I would still get it anyway. I doubt it'll be readily available in the US though. Probably only be able to get it online. Oh well.

YES! With Daleks and Cybermen and the Master!
I'd like it if the player got to be the companion and we could design how they looked.. and possibly even run into previous companions and have cutscreens like the Final Fantasy series does.. one of those incredibly long games that is completely awesome to play. 3nodding
Not some annoying card game... ><;
Oh well, I'm still gonna try to get it, but it would be an awesome RPG!

We should make a petition to get an RPG game going. Seriously. I actually can't comprehend why they havent made an RPG game - I mean loads of tv shows have made games like that - the simpsons etc - surely they could do the same for DW - its not like theres not enough funding or anything!!!

It could be brilliant - especially on the Wii if you got to borrow the Sonic Screwdriver. If it was a long enough game you could learn where the weak parts in certain types of doors. xD

Hey, at least it is a video game! But a card game.... How can you play Doctor Who as a freaking card game? They are pretty much ruining the show, do you ever see the Doctor playing cards like Yu-Gi-Oh? NO!
It should be a RPG. That would be so SWEEET!!!!

I'll probably end up getting the game anyways even if it is some weird card game just for the Doctor Who factor, but an RPG would be the best game ever! A game like Final Fantasy, or KOTOR, or Oblivion with Doctor Who or anything really! Why hasn't anyone done it crying
