like we drummers has nothing but to hit. that all
its just that ppl only see the woods, brass, and ect. only
ppl dont notice the drummers xp

Percussion has always been a thankless job. You can play perfectly a million times and nobody congratulates you, but when you mess up, every single person jumps all over you.

in our band ou cant help but notice the drums, and im actually graduated, i went back to help with the pit this yea, i have alot of friends still in, so i did it it was fun

im the same here
when ever the drums play millions of insterment we get nothing
but when we do a mistake ppl stare and jump on u xp

heh... when my drumline comes, you know were there. the funny thing is that my school doesnt like the band, but loves the drumline. so when you tell them that drumline is part of the band they go "Nu-uh!" and the preppy people dont believe me even tho im on the friggen drumline.

Ichigo Is A Kitty So true. I am playing the triangle, and whenever I tell someone, they laugh and say that's stupid. It's hard for me to play triangle. I drop the beater, or worse, the triangle! I'll stick to suspended cymbals, toms, wind chimes, and concer bass, thank you very much! I admire you. 3nodding

Maybe its just me, but every time we perform, us drummers are always congradulated because there only three of four of us at a time, so we have to multitask, me especially. I'm always playing two or every three intruments in just one song. People always say, "You are great!" mrgreen

yea. i'm angry because nobody notices the percussion. besides our band director, i might be the only one who can play drumset. yet few people praise me for it, and i get no girls. and when i mess up, people won't leave me alone about it. scream

My band director totally hates our drumline. Today he was talking, and he totally stole our fundraiser!!! He really makes us all mad. evil

Man drums are awesome. We keep the band together. Without us, the band is like a PB&J sandwich without the bread, a big mess.
