http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=mtgcom/arcana/887So who thinks there'll be a cycle of allied colored lands like that in Ravnica? I for one think those are the best lands wizards has printed since the fetch lands of Onslaught. 3nodding Just wanted to be the first to show everyone the awesomeness.

At first I admit I was blown away by the preview, but then calmed down when I noticed there was a lack of "Basic Land" qualities. This sadly means one cannot search for it with a card such as Rampant Growth. Instead, one must use cards that demand the type of basic land card such as Wood Elves or Gift of Estates. I however still believe that this card (and hopefully its equals) is still very powerful and will see jsut as much play as the Fetch Lands from Onslaught. Good job Wizards ^_-

Mmm... can't wait to see what kinds of fun tricks these can be used for... most immediate thought that comes to mind is a 2/3 Kird Ape on turn 1 with the Red/Green pickland.

Yes, I am looking forward to what new stuff Wizards has to offer as well. Some of the things i've been seeing in rumor mills is a new way to cast multicolored spells. For-instance, Say you have a spell that costs R&W. Well now Wizards will try a new thing where you decide what colors you pay for that spell. Instead of R&W you pay (R or W) then (R or W). They explain it a little better here http://www.magicdeckvortex.com/mdvarticle0020.htm

Had another interesting though about these the other day... Genjus. Imagine the white/blue land with both Genju of the Falls and Genju of the Fields on it... pay 2 to turn it into a 3/2 flier, swing, put combat damage on the stack, then pay 2 to turn it into a 2/5 spirit-linked flier, thus keeping it alive (in theory) and gaining you life.

Frikkin awesome. I like the posibilities of a green and white Genju, though....*salivating over all the lifegain*

I certianly hope they print opposite colored ones. I'm a big Green/Black player (Rock fanatic, sorry), so I'd love to see some good black cards come out of the woodwork.

Crap..... the first words I thought of when seeing the card was "land matters block". Doesn't seem likely, but I seriously disliked Mercadian Masques block as a whole.
I don't know..... maybe Ravnica's gunna be "card type matters" or something? Or maybe it's going to be pretty non-linear? o.o
