The Feral Clan

The Feral clan is named for the majority of banthi inside the clan have animal-like and naturally coloured pelts, with the occasional exception. Run by none other than Amon and his sister Faizah, the two of them were the first to be awakened in the cold, dark cavern they called home and thus were automatically gifted with the strength and power to be alphas from the day they were awakened. The older sibling, Amon, is a large and powerful banthi... but a softy at heart. He would rather make jokes and nap all day than fight. His sister Faizah however is a different story. While still kind and gentle to her clanmates and family, there is a coldness about her that bores into you every time her light blue eyes cast a mean stare. She is regal and proper, often seen patrolling the boarder of her territory or settling disputes among her clanmates.

- Clan events, large group RP, and the alpha journals will be run and kept here.
- You may start a RP here as long as three or more banthi are participating. Any less and it's to be taken to journals.

How it Began

On record, The Feral Clan was the first to be reawakened from it's dormant state and so far it's the only cavern to contain any unawakened gems. It's unknown why they ended up in such a way, as all records aside from myth and generic information has either been lost or destroyed. It was a few years ago that Rabid, a chaos demon, and Kitara, her undead companion discovered them.

After making the cavern livable again and reading all the information they could find, they awoke the first two gems; Amon, the winged tiger, and Faizah, the winged ocelot. With no alphas there to guide them, they were automatically chosen to fill such a role. If they were the alphas in their past life they don't know, everything having been wiped clean of their memory like all the banthi that are reawakened.

As time went on, many other banthi were reawakened and the clan thrived. But like all good things, it slowly came to an end. The clan disbanded for a short while, bonded banthi going off to live with their caretakers and others staying behind.

Now, a legend is restarted. Old banthi come home to a life nearly forgotten to once again start anew.

How it's Run

All clans are different on how they thrive and function, how respect and rank is gained. The Feral Clan have taken their own approach that revolves around fighting. The more a banthi trains itself to defend the clan, the more respect and higher position in the clan it gains. While this might seem barbaric or ridiculous for some, it's how they function. Not all banthi in the clan are subject to battle and those that choose to take a more peaceful path are not seen any less important, but they can no longer climb the ranks to earn more respect from their peers. It's their choice whether they do so or not.

Seeing as it's unknown whether any existing clans or roaming banthi are out there, some that are born in the caverns decide to leave; to wander off in search of another home. While this is highly frowned upon, those that do choose such a path are free to do as they wish and are welcome back with open arms.

Where we Live

Current Weather: 23°F (-5°C) Strong winds and snowing hard

The Feral Clan lives in a rather large cavern that had been naturally made and then carved out into a home decades ago. It's unknown how old it really is, but now it has a welcoming air to it. The cold rocks are now warmed with the glow of torches and a campfire. Once you walk past the dark entrance and turn a few rocky corners, it's evident that life thrives within.

The cavern is located around rocky terrain, carved out in an outcrop of boulders and stone in a small hill. It's surrounded my a small woods that stretches outwards into a large expanse of forest. They live to the North East, where winters are hard and summers are strong.
