Got a couple of messages from the Gaia admins warning me that 10 attempts were made to break the password of my account tonight, causing a severe pair of blocks to be placed on my access.
I've responded to the official gaiaonine e-mail return address. And no, I did not give anyone my password nor has anyone had access to it on my home computers.
Someone is sniffing around for fat accounts to pillage.
Time to get my pirate outfit out of mothballs.

It just proves that everybody's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man!
*does the ZZ Top windmill point*
Keep us abreast of the problem. I haven't had any attempts aimed at my avatar.

That is one hell of a Christmas present.
No attempts to bum-molest my little guy either. Clearly you have something that ten losers really, really want. Good luck with destroying them

They keep trying at random times.
I have an e-mail box full of reports of attempts.
So far, none have prevented me from gaining access to my account. Must have been the reindeer slippers and Yeti plush I wore last weekend.
Oh well. My new password is not in the dictionary and is laced with numbers. They must be bored if they think I'm that stupid with my passwords.
