Dis Domnu I, uh, I don't have one. sweatdrop Bah; we'll figure out one that's close enough, then. blaugh I probably wouldn't know an exact one, but I can look it up if you'd like. Divash or Nathan would probably know a lot more accurately, though.

Hmm.... I can't say I knew a Lewis in Hebrew school- the closest names I'd go with are Levi, Yehuda, or Yisrael. Hopefully somebody else knows one, but since this isn't official, that's just a rough estimate. 3nodding

Lewis - It is a boy's name of English origin. Anglicization of Louis (Old German, French) "renowned fighter". Author Lewis Carroll. Also, my (Divash's) grandfather's middle name.
Close Hebrew equivalents:
Naftali - mighty wrestlings Nimrod - great warrior Yisrael - struggles with G*D Amazyah - strength of G*D Amram - mighty nation Arad - wild ox Aviaz - father of strength Azan - power, strength Chizkiyah - power from G*D
That should get you started. I'm fond of Naftali and Yisrael, myself, but they all have a certain ring to them, no?

I still very much like Yisrael.
(1) I know how to say it. (2) It kinda clicks with me. (3) It fits my personality.

Mine's Joel. I know the Hebrew means "G-d is all" or something along those lines. I never found out what it was in Hebrew. Is it still Joel? I've always taken it to be yossel, which I know is Joseph (see username). Anyone give me a hand here?
