 There were some things in life that would always be the same; the sky, for instance. In the morning the sun came up and in the evening it fell beneath the horizon. The stars glittered on clear nights and, during the day, the sun was either high or there were clouds in the sky.
At the moment there was a mare amongst the clouds; a mare who was determined to fly against the wind in the direction that she'd been pointed in. Telikos was here... Alysida was here... The little wild one, the large wild one... And others. They had all come here and now she too was coming. News had to be carried in one way or another... She only hoped that it wasn't too late. He had been getting strange feelings for the past couple of days and he knew, deep down, than it was for some reason beyond Alysida's absence. She had gone off on patrols on her own before and this time was no different than the last. She would return in several more days with some sort of report and things would go back to the way that they always were... He hoped. There was something lingering in the air though, something that he didn't like... And he couldn't quite put his hoof on whatever it was.

 She had not stopped running since she left the company of the red mare. She couldn't until she found at least one of the others to warn. They had to know what was coming. They had to know that the horror had followed them here.
Her hooves crunched on the gravle as she made her way across the stream that separated the area they had started to call home. She could small Telikos enough that she knew he had to be about somewhere.

Catching sight of the large, white stallion she pulled her wings firmly against her body, spiraling downwards until she landed in a small heap beside him. Her landings were rarely graceful and with how tired her wings were she had doubted that she could manage anything more than what she had.
He had seen the descent, backing up enough that the mare didn't fall into him upon landing. His brow lofted as he glanced down at her. "Astoria... You've come as well?" The little messenger of the stars who rarely left her grassy knoll unless persuaded somehow to do so. "What brings you, little star seeker?"

She trotted though the trees and out toward the grasslands that Teli usually patrolled. She had heard something in that direction which meant it was either him or one of the others.
Nudging the tree branches aside she raised a brow at the sight of a familiar blue body. Astoria, she hadn't been lost to the destruction as she'd feared. Shaking her head she moved quietly toward the other two.
"I have a feeling what brings her here is the same thing that has me returning before i had planned."

He leaned down, giving the winged mare a gentle nudge in an attempt to guide her to her hooves. "Easy now..." Once she was standing he shook his head. "You really must practice that landing bit, Astoria... I have seen Tapanga flutter about with more grace."
"Forgive me." She said almost sheepishly as she looked up to the large stallion before turning towards the black mare. "Lady Alysida! Oh, I'm so glad that you're all right. I was so worried." She stretched her neck out, touching her nose to the other mare's cheek.

She rested her nose against the other mare's for a moment. "I was worried that you had not made it away from you home in time. It is good to see you here." Astoria knew that she could fend for herself so she still found it funny that the other mare always worried about her.
Looking up after a moment she looked over to Teliko's. "I have ... news"

"The stars know when it's time to shift their position in the sky." She nodded slowly, managing a soft smile before her own golden gaze drifted towards the large stallion. "I as well... I flew here without stopping. They're on the move."
"They?" His brow lofted as he looked first to Astoria before shaking his head, head turning towards Alysida. He had a better chance of understanding the news that she brought over the news coming from the feathered one.

"So you've seen them too.." She looked back at Astoria for a moment before shaking her head. "The ones who destroyed our home. I told you it wasn't natural what happened and i was right."
Things had happened too fast for it to be natural. "I .. met one of them. They are here and they're going to do it again unless they are stopped"

"They're here?" Her face fell, wings sagging slightly as she looked to Telikos once more. "I am sorry... I flew as fast as I could and I still could not make it in time to tell you."
"There is no need for an apology, Astoria. You did well." He nodded slowly as he gave the mare a gentle nudge. "We need to find the others..."

"Tapanga is off someone getting herself lost. Lady should still be about the forest?" She turned slightly so she could look back the way she had come. "Do not worry Astoria .... i fear they move far faster than any of us could have moved."

"Tapanga... The little one." She smiled softly, letting her eyes close as she tried to envision the little pixie of a mare. "She is safe as well? And Lady?" There were others though... Others that she had not seen with her own eyes or glistening in the stars. The sky had been so cloudy...
"Yes, Tapanga is safe." Wherever she was, at least. She had a way of, somehow, staying one step ahead of trouble. "Lady..." His nose wrinkled as he tried not to roll his eyes. "I suppose I should try to track her down..."

"We should." The Lady would be easier to make move if the two of them were there. Astoria would be helpful too. "Until we have everyone together and safe we should all keep in close contact. We stand a better chance if we stand together rather than appart"

"Shall I go with you, Lady Alysida?" She stretched her wings, letting the soft feathers fluff slightly as she pulled them back towards her body. They were still a bit sore from her long flight but they weren't useless. "I can relay messages between you as we search for the others."
"I think that you should, Astoria. I will look for Tapanga... She has a way of finding me when I least expect it... We will look... But not before you've rested." He nodded slowly before looking to the Dark Lady. "May I have a word with you?"

"Yes. Telikos runs far faster than i do so it should be easy enough for us to meet up again once we have found everyone." She nodded slightly and nudged Astoria. "You rest first. You've been flying for a long time as you've said."
She looked over at the stallion as he spoke to her. "Of course." Astoria could get some water and some fresh grass while they spoke.

Once the winged mare was by the edge of the small pond, drinking deeply from the cool water he turned away, heading off into the woods and expecting Alysida to follow after him. He knew that Astoria would, more likely than not, sleep for a while... He had time to speak with the Dark Lady before they parted ways.
