Ok, I've had this happen more than once, but ever had the power go out at a football game? The first two times we had to play in the dark (which was fun since we couldn't see the music) and then the third time... the other band was about to perform at half time (we just finished)... right when their drum majors called them to attention, the power went out. So ever had something like this happen to you?

Well, during one of our last practices (our marching rehearsals are usually 6-9 PM), we went to the stadium's field and the stadium lights weren't on. Everybody was laughing and running around in the dark.

And this happened once:
[After practice]
Band Director: Go home.
Us: ignoring him*
Band Director: GO HOME.
Us: *still ignoring*
LIGHTS IN THE STADIUM GET TURNED OFF
Us: WTF?!
Band Director: GO HOME!

Heck yesh! This happened last year in the MIDDLE OF A SHOW DURING A COMPETITION! We were in the second movement when the lights went out... bad thing is, we still continued the whole show, with nothing but the moonlight to guide us........ But the REALLLLLLY bad part was that we got the highest score and ranking of the whole competition... 97/100 = Superior HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

That was surely a blast...... Maby your band should try it once for $hits and giggles....
